"Sorry about the bite, I reckon that twinges a bit." Sirius apologized as he helped Ron to walk with Harry.

"A bit? A bit?" Ron asked. "You almost tore my leg off!"

Sirius rolled his eyes and chuckled. "I was going for the rat. Normally, I have a very sweet disposition as a dog. In fact, more than once, James suggested that I make the change permanent. The tail I could live with. But the fleas? They're murder."

"We're planning to have a dog." You told Sirius with a smile. "I bet he's going to be wonderful. Maybe he's going to be just like you when he's mad." You chuckled.

Sirius smiled at you. "Oh yeah? Have you think of a name?"

"Bucky." You answered, still following then as we exited the house and the hole. "The name sounds very sweet but dangerous if mad."

Sirius set Ron down on a rock and Ron sat there. Hermione crouched down and observed the bit. Sirius looked at you and placed his hand on your shoulder with a smile. "I wish I could meet your dog one day."

You grinned. "Maybe. Soon."

Sirius nodded then walked away, looking at the Hogwarts castle from afar. We all sat down on the grass, looking at Ron's wound.

"You should go," Draco told Harry, gesturing him to talk to Sirius.

Harry shook his head. "No, no. Guys, it's fine. I'll stay."

Hermione shook her head and placed her hand at Harry's. "It's fine. We'll stay."

Harry sighed and stood up. He walked towards Sirius then they started talking.

"Ow. That looks really painful." Hermione said as she looked at Ron's wounded leg.

Ron sighed. "It's sorta painful. They uh, they might... chop it."

You looked at Ron and Hermione with a smirk while Draco eyed them suspiciously.

"I'm sure Madam Pomfrey will fix it in a heartbeat."

"It's too late, it's ruined. It'll have to be chopped off."

"Are you two flirting but recreating the time when Pansy and Stacey asked about Draco's wounded arm?" You asked, chuckling.

Ron and Hermione chuckled too, looking at each other. Draco frowned and crosses his arms. Ron looked at Draco and smiled. "What? You were flirting with Parkinson and Doom back then."

"They were flirting, Weasley. I do nooooot." Draco whined, pouting, and laying his head on your shoulder.

Hermione laughed and smiled when she saw the two of you. "Look, differences aside, you two look great together."

You glanced at Draco before shaking your head. "We decided to be friends."

Hermione frowned. "And why's that?"

"Just... reasons..." You clutched the hem of your skirt as you looked down. Draco slowly lifted his head up and sighed, looking away.

Suddenly, all of you heard noises from the tree. You and your friends turned to see Lupin struggling to get Pettigrew out. "Turn me into a Flobberworm. Anything but the Dementors!" When Pettigrew was finally out, he ran for Ron. "Ron!" He knelt down at him. "My friend! Haven't I been a good pet! You don't want them to give me to the Dementors, right? I was your rat!"

When Ron moved back in fear, Pettigrew turned to Hermione. "Girl! Clever girl! Please--"

You stood up and faced him. "Get away from them!" You yelled with a push, moving him away from your friends.

Pettigrew paused and observed you, his nose slightly twitching. "S-Stark? A Stark?" He knelt down and looked at you with his pleading eyes. "Your father was an old friend of mine. Please! Don't let them take me away to the Dementors!"

Draco scowled, standing up, and pulled you away from Pettigrew. You scoffed at the pleading man. "Liar! Using lies to you can convince me of helping you? It'll never work!"

Pettigrew whimpered until he noticed Draco and he looked back at you. A smirk slowly formed on his lips. "Oh, blimey... a-a Stark and a Malfoy together? This rarely happens. Don't even ask me why I recognize the young Malfoy. The blonde hair gives it away."

Draco narrowed his eyes while you glared at Pettigrew. "So?" Draco asked.

"Friends, I presume?"

You and Draco glanced at each other until Pettigrew gasped and grinned. "L-Lovers? Or not yet official?"

"It's none of your business, traitor, now get away from them!" Lupin hissed and dragged Pettigrew away from you and Draco. Lupin points his wand at Pettigrew, who's still pleading. Then we noticed the moon. Full moon.

"Harry!" Hermione yelled causing Harry and Sirius to turned around. Hermione pointed to the moon so they all looked at it and Lupin too.

Lupin's eyes gazed at the moonlight until he started shaking with his eyes changing. He screamed.

"Remus, my friend!" Sirius ran towards his friend and tried to hold Lupin. "Have you taken your potion tonight?"

Lupin did not answer but instead, he kept on screaming and groaning.

"You know the man you truly are, Remus! This heart is where you truly live! Here!" Sirius yelled as Pettigrew shook in fear. "Try to stop it, Remus! This flesh is only flesh!" Hermione and Harry helped Ron up as all of you watched Lupin's transformation.

Lupin dropped his wand causing Pettigrew to snatch it. He pointed it to himself and was about to cast a spell. "Expelliarmus!" Harry yelled causing the wand the fly away. Pettigrew looked at you and your friends waved before waving goodbye. With a wicked smile, he transformed himself back to a rat. He ran off and Harry was about to chase him but you stopped him.

You all stepped away when Lupin has fully transformed into a werewolf and he tossed Sirius away. "Run! Run!"

"Wait!" You told to your friends when they were about to leave. You looked at Lupin and sighed, walking slowly towards him. Hermione soon joined who and was just behind you.

Draco tried to get your hand but failed. "(Y/n)! (Y/n), get back here!"

"Hermione, bad idea!" Ron exclaimed.

"Professor?" You asked as Hermione held to your arm. "Professor Lupin?" She asked.

Lupin started howling causing the two of you to jump in surprise. Ron and Draco dragged you and Hermione back to them as the werewolf looked at you, walking slowly.

"Nice doggy... nice doggy!" Ron whimpered. Suddenly, Snape came out from the hole and found you and your friends, grabbing Harry's arm.

"There you are, Potter!" Snape hissed but heard the growling behind him. He turned and saw Lupin as a werewolf so he protected you and your friends.

Werewolf Lupin swung a hit causing all of you to fall as Hermione screamed. Draco moved back. "I told myself I wasn't going to be involved in your little missions!" He exclaimed as he glared at Ron.

"It's not our fault you wanted to be with (Y/n)!"

"Boys, it's not the time!" You scolded as you raised your wand up. Lupin raised his claws to hit all of you until Sirius transformed himself into a dog and attacked Lupin. The two started fighting. Sirius ran away and Lupin chased him.

"Sirius!" Harry yelled and chased after them, ignoring Snape's calls. "Come back here, Potter!"

You and your friends were back at the castle. Ron and Harry were at the infirmary. Harry was unconscious when you found him by the Great Lake. Hermione was beside Harry when he stirred in his sleep. "Harry?"

Harry slowly opened his eyes. "I saw my dad."

You stood up from your seat causing Draco to look up at you. "What?" You asked.

Harry glanced at you before sitting up and grabbing his glasses. "He sent the Dementors away. I saw him across the lake."

"Listen, Harry, they've captured Sirius," Hermione informed. "Any minute the Dementors are gonna perform the Kiss."

Harry immediately got out of bed. "They're gonna kill him?"

Draco shook his head. "No, it's worse. Much worse than death, Potter. They're going to suck out Sirius Black's soul."

The doors opened and all of you turned around to see Dumbledore entering the infirmary. Hermione walked towards Dumbledore. "Headmaster, you must stop them. They've got the wrong man."

Harry nodded and stood beside Hermione. "It's true. Sirius is innocent."

"It's Scabbers who did it," Ron added.

"Scabbers?" Dumbledore asked.

"He's my rat, sir," Ron answered. "He's not really a rat. He was my rat. He was my brother Percy's rat. But then they gave him an owl--"

"The point is, we know the truth." Hermione interrupted as she faced back at Dumbledore. "Please believe us."

"I do, Ms. Granger," Dumbledore replied. "But the word of 15-year-old wizards will convince few others."

Dumbledore walked towards Ron and patted his wounded leg causing Ron to gasp and whimper. "A child's voice, however honest and true is meaningless to those who have forgotten how to listen." Ron sucked in a deep breath as Dumbledore patted once more his foot.

Dumbledore suddenly looked up to Hermione. "Mysterious thing, time." He passed by the two students. "Powerful... and when meddled with, dangerous. Sirius Black is in the topmost of the Dark Tower." He instantly turned to Hermione. "You know the laws, Ms. Granger. You must not be seen. And you would do well, I feel, to return before this last chime."

You glanced at Hermione in confusion as Dumbledore continued. "If not, the consequences are too ghastly to discuss. If you succeed tonight,Β more than one innocent life may be spared." He was about to leave but he looked back at Hermione. "Three turns should do it, I think."

Dumbledore walked away and closed the door but he quickly turned around and opened the doors for a bit. "Oh, and by the way. When in doubt, I find retracing my steps to be a wise place to begin." He nodded and smiled. "Good luck."

Once he left, Draco blinked in surprise. "Great, another cryptic message from him. Why am I even surprised?" He rolled his eyes.

Ron turned to you, Hermione, and Harry. "What the bloody hell was that all about?"

Hermione looked at Ron. "Sorry, Ron, but seeing as you can't walk..." She revealed a necklace and wrapped the chain around her and Harry. You crossed your arms. "And what are you two doing?"

Hermione glanced up at you. "We'll see you in just a bit, (Y/n). You and Malfoy should stay and look after Ron." She started turning the necklace. Harry reached for the pendant until Hermione slapped his hand away causing him to flinch.

You watched as Hermione and Harry used the Time-Turner and slowly faded. You sighed as you turned to Ron. "They'll be back."

"(Y/n)." Draco grabbed your wrist. "Can we talk?"

You and Draco walked a few feet away from Ron to talk. "Is that why you chose us to remain friends? Because Starks and Malfoys were not meant to be together?"

You looked down but Draco raised your head up with his finger lifting your chin. "Look at me. Is it the reason?"

"I..." You closed your eyes and looked down. "Draco, look at our fathers. They resent each other even if they're friends."

"Your mother and my mother--"

"Draco..." You looked at him and placed your hand on his cheek. "Maybe soon we can. But right now, all I ask for you is friendship."

Draco sighed deeply and held your hands. He clenched his jaw and stared at you. "But do you have feelings for me?"

"Draco..."

"I just need to know."

You nodded. "Of course, I do. But I'm not ready and with our families, you know... somehow have a history of hating each other. It's a bit hard."

"Then I'll wait." He replied with determination. "I'll wait for as long as I could. If all you ask is friendship for today, it's okay. But that doesn't mean I won't stop waiting for you."

You smiled as you looked at him. "And I thank you for being so patient with me."

He leaned to your hands and kissed your knuckles. "I'll always be patient with you."

Suddenly, the doors opened by Hermione and Harry. Ron jumped in surprise. You and Draco saw the two causing you to smile. "How did you get there?" Ron asked as he pointed at Harry and Hermione in confusion. "We were talking to you there just minutes ago. And now you're there."

Hermione looked at Harry with a smile playfully. "What's he talking about, Harry?" She asked.

"I don't know." Harry shrugged. "Honestly, Ron, how can somebody be in two places at once?"
