You, Hermione, and Ron were on your way to see the Shrieking Shack. Harry wasn't able to come along again but you knew he would find his way to get inside. 'It's Harry. Of course, he would always get into trouble.'

You were focused on your way until you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned around to see Draco Malfoy in his winter outfit. "Malfoy?"

"Stark." He greeted.

"Um, (Y/n)," Hermione called out. "Ron and I will go on. You two should talk." She smiled warmly. You nodded and your two friends walked away.

You slipped your hands on your pockets and looked at Draco confusingly. "Can I help you with anything?"

"I--"

"Look, Malfoy, I know you hate me for avoiding you and being unable to help you remember." You sighed. "But trust me, I really do want to help. I'm just scared of approaching you."

"I don't bite."

You chuckled. "Yeah, no, I know." You looked down at your feet, avoiding his gaze. "You know you should've insulted me back on the library..."

"Heavens, no. I can't do that." He stepped forward and lifted your chin to meet his eyes. He shrugged. "The reason why I'm here is that I want to say sorry."

"Sorry?" You asked, raising a brow. "Why?"

"For everything." He scratched the back of his neck and looked down, feeling guilty. "I did hate that you were trying to avoid me because we are supposed to be friends. But I guess it was my fault as well. Doom. I shouldn't have listened to her."

You crossed your arms as you smiled. "She told you that you hate me, didn't she?"

Draco nodded. "But whenever I look at you, it feels wrong. My mind wonders why would I hate you. If I did hate you, I must be a fool and blind." He sighed and looked at you. "And heartless."

You shook your head and placed your hand on his shoulder. "Hey, you're not heartless. Sometimes, maybe." You teased making him smile a bit. "Don't listen to Stacey's lies. She's just trying to poison your mind against me."

He looked down again and observed something. You looked down and saw him observing the ring and bracelet I gave him. "Stacey told me my mother gave these to me. But a part of me was saying that she didn't." His eyes slowly looked at yours. "Someone else gave these to me."

You smiled and held his hand. "I gave those to you." You showed your hand up to show him the bracelet he gave you. "And you gave this to me."

He blinked for a moment then smiled. "Yeah?"

You nodded. "Yeah."

"Now," Draco cleared his throat and stood up straight. "Clearly, Doom is lying." He stretched his arm for you to shake. "Let's start this thing over. I'm Draco Malfoy."

You blinked in surprise before chuckling and accepting his handshake. "And I'm (Y/n) Stark."

"Malfoy. Draco Malfoy."

"(Y/n). (Y/n) Stark."

Draco's smile faded as he looked down at your hands and he blinked a few times. Some memories were starting to come back. His memories of you.

"What?"

"Seriously Malfoy?"

The time when the students had their first flying lessons. 'She was disappointed when I insulted Longbottom.' Draco told himself.

"Malfoy, you really don't have to--"

"Were you hurt? What happened?"

"Draco?"

Draco suddenly looked at you in surprise while you were confused and worried. "Are you alright? You're spacing out."

"Malfoy, I'm fine. And there's nothing to worry about. I can kick arses."

"I bet you can do that."

"You called me Draco," Draco said breathlessly. Your eyes widened. "Ever since the first year you've been calling me Malfoy."

"I..." You were lost in words and slowly looked away. "I-I didn't... I--"

"It's okay. (Y/n)." Draco smiled. You froze and your cheeks started to heat up as you stared at him. You opened your mouth to say something but you closed it causing Draco to stifle a laugh. "What? You called me by my first name. Can I not call you by your first name too?"

"No. You can call me (Y/n). I..." You paused and gasped. "You can remember!"

"I didn't know Draco Lucius Malfoy is quite a jokester."

"Uhh... I'm not kidding. What I said was true."

Draco grinned and nodded. You gasped in joy and didn't hesitate to attack him with a big hug, almost making him fall. Draco slightly laughed and he hugged you back.

You pulled away and your grin couldn't leave your face. "Come on! Let's go tell Hermione and Ron!"

You dragged Draco along and looked for Hermione and Ron. Just a few minutes later, you two found the two Gryffindors talking and staring at the Shrieking Shack.

"It's meant to be the most haunted building in Britain. Did I mention that?" Hermione asked.

"Twice," Ron replied shyly.

"Oh." And there was an awkward silence between the two. "Do you want to move a bit closer?"

Ron looked at her confusingly. "Huh?"

"To the Shrieking Shack."

"Oh, no. I'm fine here."

You and Draco smirked at each other before slowly approaching Hermione and Ron. When you two were both behind them, you and Draco prepared your yell. "Boo!"

Hermione gasped loudly while Ron screamed in surprise. Hermione playfully hit your arm while Ron placed his hand on his chest. "Bloody hell!" Ron cried out. "That was not funny!"

"It was pretty funny to us, Weasley." Draco snickered.

"I see that you two are okay now," Hermione smirked as she crossed her arms.

Draco nodded and wrapped his arm around your shoulders causing you to blush a bit. "Yeah. I can remember her now. Took a long time. But it's fine."

"Well, well. Look who's here!" You heard Stacey's voice from behind. You and your friends turned around to see Stacey with her own gang: Pansy, Daphne, and Millicent. "You two shopping for your new dream home? Bit grand for you, isn't it, Weasel-Bee? Don't your family all sleep in... one room?"

"Shut your mouth, Doom." You warned, preparing to attack her but Draco stopped you.

"Ooh, Stark." Pansy scoffed. "Not very friendly. After you sent a letter to tell your father about everything. Tch. Coward and weak."

"It wasn't me who sent the letter, pug-face!" You growled.

Stacey smirked. "Girls, I think it's time to teach them how to respect the superiors." She said as she crossed her arms and held her head high.

"Oh, please." Draco rolled his eyes. "Don't flatter yourself, Doom. You're not superior." He scoffed and arranged his jacket causing Stacey to frown and glare.

Hermione laughed mockingly. "And I hope you don't mean yourself."

Stacey scrunched her nose in anger and furrowed her eyebrows. "How dare you talk to me, you filthy Mudblood!"

You were about to cast a spell on her but a random snowball was thrown towards Stacey. All of you looked in the direction where it came from but no one was there.

"Who's there?" Pansy asked, cowering in fear. Another snowball was sent flying towards Stacey and her gang. Pansy yelped and the girls started to freak out.

You glanced at Hermione but she just shrugged. You looked back at the scene and a smile formed on your lips. "Harry..." You whispered knowingly.

The snowball fight continued even though Stacey and her gang were unable to fight back. Stacey and her friends were helpless. Stacey pushed Millicent. "Don't just stand there! Do something!"

"What?" Millicent asked.

Daphne shook her head. "No, I'm not doing this." She took Pansy's hand and ran away together, leaving Stacey and Millicent. Stacey growled in annoyance and ran faster than them, pushing the girls away. "Get out of the way! Move!"

"Wait! Stacey!" Millicent yelled following her friends.

The three of you continued to laugh and snicker. Suddenly, Draco felt someone removed his hat. He looked everywhere and saw Ron's reaction and Hermione's hair being played by someone.

"Harry!" You chuckled, realizing that it was Harry who has done the things that just happened.

Harry came out from the Invisibility Cloak and laughed with you and Hermione. Ron frowned. "Bloody hell, Harry!" He exhaled in relief. Draco playfully hit Harry's arm. "Don't take my hat!" He scolded with a chuckle.

"Those weasels!" Ron exclaimed. "Never told me about any Marauder's Map!"

Harry explained how he got into Hogsmeade without anyone spotting him. He used a secret passage that he found in the Marauder's Map and wore his Cloak of Invisibility so he wouldn't be seen.

"Harry isn't going to keep it." Hermione corrected. "He's going to turn it over to Professor McGonagall." Hermione glared at Harry. "Aren't you?"

"Oh, sure." Ron slightly scoffed. "Along with his Invisibility Cloak."

The five of you turned around and Hermione spotted a woman who was hooking a piece of furniture outside. "Oh, look who it is... Madame Rosmerta. Ron fancies her!"

"That's not true!" Ron defended.

"Professor McGonagall!" Cornelius Fudge greeted as he waved at the teacher in his small carriage. "Cornelius!" McGonagall greeted back.

You spotted Hagrid approaching Fudge. "Allow me, minister." He accidentally broke the door earning a sigh from Fudge. "Oh, Hagrid..."

"Sorry about that."

Cornelius stepped out of the small carriage and faced the woman that Hermione was talking about earlier. "Rosmerta, my dear, I hope business is good."

"It'd be a lot better if the Ministry wasn't sending Dementors into my pub every other night!" Rosmerta complained as she threatened him with her hammer.

"We have a killer on the loose."

"Sirius Black in Hogsmeade!" Rosmerta exclaimed in irritation and disbelief. "And what would bring him here?"

"Harry Potter." Fudge whispered.

"Harry Potter?!" The woman shrieked but Fudge and McGonagall hushed her down.

"Let's talk about this. Inside." McGonagall said as they entered the pub. You and your four friends immediately looked at Harry until you found him no longer there.

You and Hermione looked down to see his footprints causing the four of you to quickly followed him. "Harry!" You whispered loudly until Harry went inside the pub. Just as you and Hermione were about to enter, some small heads talked.

"I say! No underage wizards allowed in today." The shrunken head shouted. "Shut the damn door!"

"So rude!" Hermione scoffed and walked away.

"Thick heads." Draco and Weasley whispered before you shut the door in annoyance.

Before it was fully closed, you heard the other shrunken head yelled in disbelief. "Thick heads?"

"How dare they?

"Who are they calling thick heads?"

"Young whippersnappers!"

Hermione and Ron remained at the door, looking through the small window while you and Draco waited just by the pole. You crossed your arms as you stared at the door of the pub while Draco stares at you. "Cold?"

"Yes, but I could handle it." You glanced at him. "Thanks for asking."

Draco nodded wordlessly and tried to look away but he still ended up looking at you. You leaned against the pole and laid your head just to its side as you waited for Harry to come out.

Unexpectedly, you felt his winter coat being placed by your shoulders. You looked up to see Draco smiling. "You can return it later."

You chuckled and smiled back. "Thanks, Draco."

Hermione slightly nudged Ron's chest and gestured him to look at you and Draco. "They're quite an unusual couple, huh?"

Ron nodded. "A Gryffindor and a Slytherin."
