"Welcome, my children." Professor Sybil Trelawney greeted. "In this room, you shall explore the noble art of Divination. In this room, you shall discover if you possess the Sight."
She stood up and clumsily bumped into her table. "Hello. I am Professor Trelawney." She introduced. "Together, we shall cast ourselves into the future. This term, we'll be focusing on Tasseomancy, which is the art of reading tea leaves. So please, take the cup of the person sitting opposite you."
You exchanged cups with Harry and Ron. Hermione wasn't around and you wondered where she was. "What do you see?" Trelawney asked. "The truth lies buried like a sentence deep within a book, waiting to be read. But first, you must broaden your minds. First, you must look beyond."
The students looked up when Trewalney raised her hands while you flinched in surprise when Hermione suddenly appeared out of nowhere. "Oh, what a load of rubbish." She whispered as she hid her necklace in her robes.
Harry and Ron jumped and turned to Hermione. "Where did you come from?" Ron asked.
"Me?" Hermione questioned. "I've been here all this time."
"You, boy..." Trelawney pointed at a Gryffindor boy, specifically Neville. "Is your grandmother quite well?"
Neville slowly nodded. "I think so."
"I wouldn't be so sure of that. Give me the cup."
Dean gave Trelawney Neville's cup and the professor examined it. She scrunched her face and immediately set the cup down as she glanced at Neville. "Pity."
Neville and Dean exchanged looks of confusion causing Neville to take the cup while Dean checked his book to see what it means.
"Broaden your minds." Trelawney passed to you and your friends' table until she gasped loudly and pointed at Ron causing him to flinch while Hermione rolled her eyes. "Your aura is pulsing, dear. Are you in the beyond? I think you are."
"Sure." Ron slowly nodded.
"Look at the cup. Tell me what you see."
Ron quickly looked down at the cup. "Yeah. Well..." He immediately browsed his book for some answers. "Harry's got sort of a wonky cross. That's trials and suffering. And that there could be the sun, and that's happiness. So..."
Ron slowly looked up at Harry unsurely while Hermione slightly scoffed. "You're gonna suffer, but you're gonna be happy about it."
"Give me the cup." As Ron gave Harry's cup to Trewalney, her short glance made her push the cup aside in shock. "Oh, my dear boy."
Harry and Ron jumped in surprise and their eyes widened while you continued to listen and Hermione sighed heavily.
"My dear... you have... the Grim."
"The Grin?" You heard Seamus asked out loud. "What's the Grin?"
"Not the Grin, you idiot." You heard one of your classmates corrected. "The Grim."
You grabbed Ron's book and quickly looked for its definition while your classmate read it out loud. "Taking the form of a giant spectral dog. It's among the darkest omens in our world. It's an omen..."
"...of death." You finished as you glanced at Harry's teacup.

You went straight to the library and came in there to look for the book that you wanted. As you touched the book, someone grabbed it from the other side.
"What the..." You tiptoed and spotted a familiar brown-haired boy just on the other side. You moved some books away and you saw Peter Ambrose.
He blushed and smiled shyly. "Oh! H-Hi, (Y/n)!"
You smiled back in return. "Hello, Peter."
Peter looked at the book and handed it to me. "D-Do you need it?"
You thought for a moment before shaking your head and grinned. "No, it's fine. You can keep it. I can look for another book."
You were about to leave but he immediately followed you and took your hand, pulling you back. You almost bumped your face to his chest but managed to stop yourself. You looked up at him and he slightly blushed.
You stepped away and chuckled while brushing a strand of your hair, that was left on your ponytail, away from my face.
"S-Sorry. I..." Peter stuttered. You stared at him as he scratched the back of his neck. "I-I was just gonna say that... don't lose hope on Malfoy."
Your smile disappeared and inhaled sharply. "Thanks, Peter. I appreciate it. I really do."
After your encounter with Peter, you walked away, forgetting that you were supposed to read something. Just as you turned to a corner, you suddenly bumped into a first-year Slytherin. The young girl dropped her books. "Oh no!"
"Oh, gosh, I'm sorry." You quickly apologized as you helped the girl to pick up her books. "Are you okay?"
The girl nodded as she stood up with her books while you gave the rest of her books to her. "Do you need help or...?"
"I'll be fine." She smiled. "Thank you. You're the first Gryffindor to help me."
You smiled back. "No worries, uh..."
"Astoria." She introduced. "My name is Astoria."
"(Y/n)." You patted her shoulder. "Well, I gotta go. Bye, Astoria."

"You don't think that Grim thing's got anything to do with Sirius Black, do you?" Ron asked.
The four of you were on your way to Hagrid's hut to prepare for the next class.
"Oh, honestly, Ron." Hermione groaned. "If you ask me, Divination's a very wooly discipline. Now, Ancient Runes, that's a fascinating subject."
"Ancient Runes?" You asked. "Exactly how many classes are you taking this term?"
"A fair few," Hermione answered.
"Hang on." Ron stopped while Hermione continued walking. "That's not possible. Ancient Runes is in the same time as Divination. You have to be in two classes at once."
"Don't be silly, Ron." Hermione chuckled. "How could anyone be in two classes at once?"
The four of you eventually arrived at Hagrid's hut.
"That's it. Faster! Come on now. Less talking, if you don't mind!" Hagrid exclaimed as he gathered the students around. "Come closer! Got a real treat for yeh today. A great lesson coming up. Follow me!"
You and the other students started following Hagrid to the Forbidden Forrest as all of you carried your books. "Right, you lot. Less chattering. Form your group over there." Hagrid instructed as he pointed to the place everyone should be at. "And open your books at page 49."
"And exactly how do we do that?" You heard Draco asked causing you to stop in your tracks and looked at him.
"Just stroke the spine of course," Hagrid told him before turning his back and walked.
You watched as Draco stroked the spine of his book by running down his fingers on it then glanced at Hagrid. You noticed the rings he was wearing. 'Huh.' You thought to yourself until Draco saw you causing you to look away and stand beside Hermione. Hermione looked at you. "You alright?"
You nodded wordlessly and stroked the spine of your book. It shivered and behaved making you smile to yourself and opened the book.
Neville opened the book without stroking its spine causing him to be attacked by it. He screamed in surprise and fell on the ground with the book earning some laughs while a scoff from Stacey. Draco shook his head. "Don't be such a wimp, Longbottom."
Neville stood up and sighed in relief. "I'm okay. Okay." Suddenly, he was being attacked again by the book.
Draco stood between Crabbe and Goyle trying to look for some distraction but ended up landing his eyes on you. He saw you opened your book and examined the words on it.
'Her smile is undeniably beautiful. How could I hate this girl? I must be a fool back then, I suppose. And her (e/c) eyes. They're really pretty.'
Draco cleared his throat and tapped Pansy's shoulder. She looked at him confusingly. "What is it, Dracy?"
"Are you sure I really hated her?" He asked her as he pointed at you. Pansy opened her mouth but hesitated to say something. "Pansy?"
"Really," Stacey answered for Pansy as she scooted over at Draco's side. She smiled wickedly and looked back at Hagrid. Pansy sighed and while Draco shook his head in disappointment.
"I think they're funny," Hermione said.
"Oh, yeah," Stacey answered with a snicker. "Terribly funny." She scoffed. "Really witty. God, this place has gone to the dogs, right Pansy?"
Pansy nodded and crossed her arms. "Wait until my parents hear Dumbledore's got this oaf teaching classes."
"Shut up, you gits." You hissed as you turned around and walked closer to Stacey and Pansy. Crabbe and Goyle made owl noises while Stacey tossed her bag towards Pansy. Draco crossed his arms and watched Stacey and you facing each other.
Stacey's eyes went up as she pretended to see something and pointed at the sky. "D-Dementor! Dementor!"
Students looked terrified and looked at the sky especially Harry but except for you. You crossed your arms and have an annoyed look.
Draco's friends laughed except for Draco himself. Stacey, Pansy, Crabbe, and Goyle wore their hoods on and pretended to be dementors, trying to scare you and Harry. You rolled your eyes and turned your back at them, pulling Harry a bit further away from Stacey. Hermione gave Stacey a look, scrunching her nose for a bit, before following you with Ron.
Ron noticed Neville with his uniform damaged. "You're supposed to stroke it," Ron said with a slight chuckle.
"Yeah. I know." Longbottom nodded and sighed as he set his book on a rock.
Hagrid cleared his throat and imitated a trumpet sound as he showed all of you a big bird. 'Looks like a big chicken.' Draco said in his thoughts.
"Isn't he beautiful?" He asked as he gave the creature a dead ferret. "Say hello to Buckbeak!"
"Hagrid," Ron called out. "Exactly what is that?"
"That, Ron, is a hippogriff," Hagrid answered as he stepped forward to the crowd. "First thing you wanna know about hippogriffs, is that they're very proud creatures, very easily offended. You do not want to insult a hippogriff. It may just be the last thing you ever do. Now, who'd like to come and say hello?" He clapped his hand and looked away for a moment.
Everyone took few steps back, except for Neville who immediately ducked, while Harry didn't have a chance to step back because he was too mesmerized by the creature in front.
"Well done, Harry, well done!" Hagrid exclaimed. "Come on."
Ron slightly pushed Harry forward earning a small glare from him. As Harry walked forward, Draco noticed something from afar. 'And I could clearly see Buckbeak took a crap off from his arse.'
"Now, you have to let him make the first move. It's only polite. So step up, give him a nice bow." Hagrid instructed as Harry stepped closer. "Then you wait and see if he bows back. If he does, you can go and touch him."
"If not..." Hagrid cleared his throat and wear a comforting smile. "Well, we'll get to that later. Just make your bow." Draco felt bored so he looked around until he saw you taking your robe off.
'Probably feeling hot.' Draco mentally slapped himself. 'Of course, it's hot. She's probably sweating. That's why.'
You rolled your sleeves up until your elbows and crossed your arms as you continued to watch Harry lowering his head to bow, waiting if Buckbeak bows back. Buckbeak eventually noticed Harry until it started making noises and flapping its wings.
"Back off Harry! Back off!" Hagrid whispered. Harry did as he was told but he stepped on a stick causing it to make a noise and break. Hermione flinched and grabbed Ron's sleeve in surprise. "Keep still."
Eventually, the bird bowed down too. "Well done, Harry. Well done." Hagrid praised and gave another dead ferret to Buckbeak. "Here, you big brute, you."
Harry took a deep breath and sighed in relief. "Right. I think you can go and give him a pat." Hagrid instructed. Harry looked up at him with a puzzled look. "Go on. Don't be shy."
Draco couldn't see clearly so he and his friends stepped forward, just a few feet away from you, Hermione, and Ron. Crabbe and Goyle pushed some students away. Draco pulled out a green apple from his pocket and took a big bite on it until he looked at Neville. Neville gasped and immediately walked away, terrified.
"Nice and slow, now. Nice and slow. Slow." Hagrid calmly instructed. Harry walked closer to the creature and stretched his hand out to pat Buckbeak. "Not so fast, Harry."
Buckbeak almost bit Harry's arm off making Draco jump a little. He cleared his throat and looked away. Hermione, in surprise and fear, suddenly held Ron's hand. You and Draco both noticed Hermione and Ron quickly glancing at each other causing both of them to look away and stepped away for a bit.
You leaned towards Hermione and smirked. "I bet you loved that."
Hermione softly gasped and playfully hit your arm. "Shut up!"
Finally, Harry succeeded and he gently patted the hippogriff. Hagrid clapped for him and some students did too while Draco just smiled for him and took another bite of his apple.
"I think he may let you ride him now."
Harry looked at Hagrid instantly because of what he said. "What?"
"Come on, just right behind the wing joint." Hagrid picked him up and placed him on Buckbeak's back.
"Hey! Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Hagrid!" Harry exclaimed.
"Don't pull any of his feathers," Hagrid warned. "He won't forgive you for that!" He smacked Buckbeack's behind to fly with Harry. They flew away leaving the students and Hagrid watching on the ground.
Hagrid smiled. "That's beautiful." He cleared his throat and looked at his students. "I'll be right back. I'll bring some more food for Buckbeak." He said and walked away.
"Scared now are we, Stark?" Stacey teased as she walked towards you.
You took a deep breath and placed your hands on your waist "What do you want? I'm getting sick of you and Malfoy insulting me."
"Me?" Draco asked as he stepped out from the crowd and stood beside Stacey. "I haven't even done anything to you."
"You called me an idiot." You glared at him. "I expected more from you, Malfoy. Just because you don't remember me doesn't mean you have to be an arsehole."
"(Y/n)..." Hermione whispered as she tugged your shirt.
Draco's eyes narrowed in anger and softly scoffed. He stepped forward to you, walking intimidatingly. "Look, Stark." He spoke. "As far as I remember, I wasn't being a full arsehole to you. You're just making me hate you even more."
"Hate me?" You glanced at Pansy and Stacy and gave them a death glare. "Clearly, your so-called friends have poisoned your mind."
Draco glanced at Stacey before looking back at you. "You need to shut up."
You held your head high. "Scared of the truth?"
The young Malfoy stared at you, his jaw clenching. "If you were my friend, then why didn't you at least visited me, hm? If you knew that I did forget about you, why were you avoiding me?"
Your eyes slightly widened. You were thankful that most of the students were minding their own business and having their own conversations. The only students who were watching are Ron, Hermione, Pansy, and Stacey.
Speechless, you turned your back and stood just between Ron snd Hermione, not daring to look at a disappointed Draco. Draco sighed and walked away, finishing the apple he has and threw the apple core at the ground. Stacey held his arm and looked up at him. "Do you see it now? Do you realize it?"
Draco yanked his arm back and walked away from her without saying a word.
Hagrid came back with more dead ferrets and saw Buckbeak flying nearby. He whistled, catching the attention of the creature. Finally, Harry came back and landed safely on the ground with Buckbeak.
"Oh, please." Draco heard Stacey groaned in frustration and stepped out of the crowd. His eyes widened and he immediately followed her.
"How did I do on my first day?" Hagrid asked Harry.
"Brilliant, Professor," Harry replied breathlessly with a wide and bright smile.
Stacey pushed some students away and walked arrogantly forward to Buckbeak. "Yes. You're not dangerous at all, are you, you great ugly brute!"
"Doom, no..." Hagrid warned her but she didn't stop.
Students started to scream as Buckbeak raised its front legs and was about to kick Stacey but Draco quickly stepped in front of her and he took the kick. He was dropped to the ground and clutched his arm in pain. Draco took a look at his arm. 'Well, it's just a scratch.'
"Buckbeak! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Buckbeak!" Hagrid scolded the creature. Buckbeak calmed down and looked at Draco sorrowfully.
Hagrid tossed a dead ferret to a far distance for Buckbeak to chase and to eat. "Away, you silly creature!"
Stacey knelt down beside Draco and widened her eyes. "It's killed him! It's killed him!"
"Calm down." Draco hissed as he sat up. "It's just a scratch."
"Hagrid!" Draco heard a voice calling out. He looked at you standing in front of Hagrid. "He has to be taken to the hospital."
Hagrid nodded, looking down at Draco. "I'm the teacher. I'll do it."
Draco looked up at you, staring at you in surprise. 'So you do care...'
You looked down at him as Draco tried to read your expression. You were worried and frightened. Suddenly, Draco was lifted by Hagrid into his arms.
"You're gonna regret this!" Pansy yelled at Hagrid.
"Class dismissed!" Hagrid announced as he walked away with Draco in his arms.
"You and your bloody chicken!" Stacey added.
Draco sighed and looked up at Hagrid. "Sorry about that. Pansy and Stacey are nuisances. And don't worry about me. It's just a scratch."
Hagrid chuckled. "Still, you have to be taken to Madam Pomfrey. And I thought you will be the one who's going to insult Buckbeak."
"I think I changed." Draco chuckled and looked down at his arm.
"Huh," Hagrid replied. "You did change. I didn't mean to but I heard yer conversation with (Y/n)."
Draco frowned. "You did?"
"Aye. I hope you don't mind me askin' but why exactly do you hate her?"
"I don't know. I can't remember her."
Hagrid nodded in understanding. "I see. Well, I hope you remember her and some parts of yer life. You two used to be close and you even changed yer ways because of her."
Draco froze at Hagrid's words. 'I don't know who to believe anymore.' He sighed and looked down at the bracelet and ring on his wrist and finger.
'Stacey said my mother gave these to me. But something tells me that someone else gave these to me and not my mother.'
