Next week will be the start of your third year at Hogwarts. You were currently in your room, sitting on your bed, and playing your guitar.Β

"Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you."Β

You quietly sang as you strummed the strings of your guitar, closing your eyes.

"Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you."Β

You were about to sing the next part but paused when you heard your door creaking open. You looked up to see your sister coming to your room.

"Why'd you stop?" She asked as she sat down beside you on your bed. "Your voice is great."

You stifled a laugh and placed your guitar down. "Thanks, sis."

Megan smiled and then looked down, her fingertips were touching your guitar as she observed it. "You're always in your room. Mum and Dad are worried. Are you alright?"

You smiled and nodded. "Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be? Just playing my guitar and studying."

Megan laughed and looked at you in surprise. "Wow. Studying. Since when do you study?"

You gasped dramatically and playfully hit her arm. "I just want to study. That's all."

Her smile disappeared and sighed as she hugged her knees. "Draco still doesn't remember you?"

You took a deep breath and shook your head, looking at your window. "Yeah. I'm guessing he remembers you?"

She slowly nods and lowered her head. "He doesn't remember that I have a sister. He wants to meet you. He's downstairs."

You froze on your spot then quickly looked at your sister who's now looking at you. "What? And you didn't tell me?!"

She chuckled nervously. "Whoops? I wanted it to be a surprise." Megan saw your expression so she sighed. "Look, Draco just got back from the Healers. He's being treated so sooner or later, he'll finally remember you. So would you please just come downstairs and meet him?

"Guess what little sister," You crossed your arms and huffed. "I'm not going down!"

"Come ooooon!" She whined. "Maybe he could remember you if he sees youuuuu!"

"I won't force myself in him!"

"..." Megan looked at you in surprise while her mouth was hung open.

"..." You blinked twice until you finally realized what you said causing you to blush furiously in embarrassment. "I didn't mean it like that..."

Megan gave you a mocking smirk. "Yeah. Suuuuuure."

"Shut up!"

You heard her laugh. "But seriously. Just come down and let him see you." You felt her jumped out of your bed and you looked at her to see her on your door. "Or I'll bring him in your room." She said teasingly.

"Megan Jane Stark!" You yelled, blushing furiously. She laughed and headed downstairs. You sighed and laid your head on your pillow. You closed your eyes. "Whatever it takes..." You whispered. "Or how my heart breaks... I will be right here waiting for you..."

"Beautiful voice."

You shrieked and quickly threw your pillow towards the door as you pulled out your wand. You pointed it to the person who talked. "Oh, shit." You whispered when the person removed the pillow away from their face. Draco Malfoy raised his hands up in surrender and smiled. "Sorry for bothering and scaring you."

You lowered your wand down and hid it back. "Malfoy! Sorry, I didn't mean to throw... my pillow at you." You cleared your throat and quickly sat up. "Wh-What are you, uh, doing here?"

"Your parents and my parents were talking about something serious." He shrugged as he crossed his arms. "And besides, I want to meet Megan's older sister since she kept on ignoring me."

You just nodded wordlessly, feeling awkward as you looked away from him. Draco stared at you and narrowed his eyes in curiosity. "Are you alright?"

"Mhm." You nodded. "I'm good."

Draco leaned against your doorframe. "Sorry for making you uncomfortable. I'll just be going then. It was nice meeting you."

Once he turned around to leave, you stretched your arm out to call him but you shut your mouth and sighed heavily. Then he left. You shook your head and jumped out of your bed to close the door. You groaned as you flopped yourself back to your bed and closed your eyes.

"That was kind of awkward."

"Leave me alone, gremlin." You muttered and lazily throwing a pillow at your sister. "This is all your fault."

"Hey, I'm helping you out here, sis." Megan sat beside you and patted your back. "He's your friend, I'm sure nothing can go bad if you two get to know each other once again."

You randomly slapped your sister's arm causing her to shout in pain and annoyance. "Hey! What was that for?"

"Nothing, really. I just felt like it."

Suddenly, your door opened causing you to sit up with Megan and saw Edward entering your room. "Pumpkin?"

Edward noticed you both and smiled. "Hello, girls. Muffin, would kindly help your mother for dinner? I'm going to talk to your sister."

Megan nodded and stood up. Once she left, you fixed your pillows and looked up at your father. "Hey, dad. How was the meeting with the Malfoys?"

"It was just about work, nothing exciting." Your dad replied as he rolled his eyes causing you to laugh. Edward sighed and sat down beside you. "Are you alright?" He asked.

You slowly nodded. "Yeah. Why?"

Edward wrapped his arm around your shoulders in comfort. "The Malfoys just left a while ago. Draco was here, y'know."

"Yeah, I know. Megan told me. He even visited my room."

Edward's face hardened and his eyes widened. "And you just let him in?"

"For the record, Megan didn't shut the door."

"He didn't do anything nasty, did he?"

You gasped and playfully slapped your father's arm. "No! Dad, geez!"

"Has he remembered you?"

You looked up at him and shook your head. Edward pressed his lips into a thin line. "I'm sorry, pumpkin. I know how much he means to you because he's your friend. Narcissa told me that the Healers are doing everything they can. They said that we shouldn't force him to remember. Help would do good but not force. Forcing him might make him pressured. Slowly but surely."

You nodded in understanding. "Thanks, dad." Edward smiled as he kissed your forehead and slowly stood up. You watched as he walked to the door and stopped to look at you. "Just wait, pumpkin. He'll remember you." He smiled sweetly.

I smiled back. "I will."

"Now get your butt out of the bed, we'll be eating soon."

"I'm warning you, Hermione." You heard Ron argued. You pet your owl, Frigga, in peace as your two friends, Ron and Hermione, were bickering like an old couple. Crookshanks, Hermione's cat, was chasing Scabbers, Ron's pet rat, around the place which irritated Ron. "Keep that beast away from Scabbers or I'll turn it into a tea cozy." He warned Hermione.

"It's a cat, Ronald. What do you expect?" Hermione argued back. "It's in his nature."

The three of you were in the Leaky Cauldron waiting for Harry to come down. You sighed and looked up to see Harry coming down the stairs. You waved at him and he waved back.

"A cat? Is that what they told you?" Ron asked Hermione. "Looks like a pig with hair, if you ask me."

"That's rich coming from the owner of that smelly old shoe brush." Hermione caressed her cat in comfort as you stood up from your chair. "Crookshanks, just ignore the mean little boy."

"Hello, Harry." You greeted with a smile causing your two friends to stop fighting. "Harry." Ron greeted as Hermione turned around. "Harry!"

The four of you sat down on the chairs as Ron showed a clipping of the Weasley family going to Egypt. "Egypt." Harry gasped. "What's it like?"

"Brilliant." Ron smiled. "Loads of old stuff like mummies, tombs, even Scabbers enjoyed himself."

Harry turned to you. "Have you ever been to Egypt, (Y/n)?"

You shook your head. "I haven't. Maybe we could there, the four of us."

"You know, the Egyptians used to worship cats." Hermione intervened as she adjusted her seat.

"Yeah? Along with the dung beetle." Ron argued.

"Not flashing that clipping again?" You looked up to see Fred and George passing by.

"I haven't shown anyone," Ron replied.

"No, not a soul." Fred sarcastically said. "Not unless you count Tom."

"The day maid."

"Night maid."

"Cook."

"The bloke who fixed the toilet."

You snickered as the twins sat down beside you. Hermione stood up to greet Ginny while Harry spoke with Molly and Arthur Weasley. You were between the twins and they stared at you. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. "What?"

"How's your little friend from Slytherin?" George asked.

"We never expected you to be friends with that guy." Fred chuckled.

You shrugged. "Our families are quite close, I suppose. That's why he considered me as his friend. And for the first question, yes, I think he's quite alright."

"How about you?"

You let out a laugh. "I'm fine."

The twins glanced at each other before looking at you again. "Uh-huh."

"Because why wouldn't I be?"

"Sure."

"In fact, I am excited! I'm excited that we're finally going to school tomorrow."

"(Y/n), seriously, you don't need to lie about it," Fred reassured. "George and I got your back. Whenever you feel need shoulders to cry on..." The Weasley twins patted their shoulders and smiled. "We got you."
