third person

nearly everyone was there, including cynthia. all but chase.

chase was to arrive any moment from now, and the thought of seeing her best friend excited olivia. they were all outside, on the terrace mainly just talking to each other.

"chase is here!"

hearing those three words, olivia rushed out of the terrace and down the stairs, tripping along the way. "hi!", olivia squealed as she went into chase's arms.

"hi to you too", chase slightly tightened his hold on her before letting go.

"chase!"

"payton baby!", chase called out. payton ran straight to chase, attacking him with a hug. the others came down too to say their 'hellos'.

the day was coming to an end, the group of teens and griffin were back onto the terrace, sat in a little circle as jaden played his guitar.

cynthia was sat in-between jaden and madi while olivia was sat in-between payton and chase.

"jacob, sing something", cynthia said.

"like what?", jacob asked.

there was a little murmur, "you can wear my sweatshirt", olivia started to sing.

"and you can tell your friends", chase joined in.

"we'll be together till the end. girl you can wear my sweatshirt", soon enough they were all singing along, having a laugh.

olivia took her phone, initially recording her and chase before flipping the camera and filming everyone else.

during their little sing-song, cynthia sent a few glares towards olivia's direction. olivia ignored them and continued to enjoy her night.

third person

it's day two of staying over at madi's. chase and olivia were planning on going out to random places.

"so it's a date?", madi questioned as she watched olivia put on her 'old skool' vans.

"no", olivia looked up at madi before looking back down at her shoes to tie them.

"oooh and we're back onto square one", madi shrugged.

"we aren't. we're just two friends hanging out", olivia walked over to where she kept her phone, picking it up.

"correction; two friends – who clearly like each other – hanging out", madi wiggled her eyebrows, making olivia laugh.

"funny but, chase doesn't like me in that way and, i don't even like chase like that anymore. those feelings left months ago"

"but who's to say they haven't come back?"

"me. i did. now, bye-bye", olivia flashed madi a grin before exiting the room.

"is that lilhuddy?"

"where?"

"a few tables down."

"i don't know, i can't really tell just by looking at the back of their head"

"wait till he turns around or something", almost as if on cue chase turned around.

the two girls burst into a mini fit of squeals once they realised it was the one and only chase hudson.

"but who's he with?"

"that's olivia you dumbass"

neither chase nor olivia had noticed the girls looking.

the girls had been sat waiting for when it was a good time to talk to them without interrupting anything important.

they had noticed that they were starting to leave, as chase stood up with olivia doing the same.

the pair were walking in the girls' direction, "hi olivia and chase!"

"oh hey!", chase sent them a soft smile.

"hi!", olivia beamed

the two girls, chase and olivia all talked for a while before the girls decided to let them be.

"could we possibly get a picture before you go?"

"of course!"

after taking the pictures, the girls said their 'thank yous' and left as chase and olivia went in the other direction.
