olivia had gotten home from school just over two hours ago. she was really bored. in fact, bored was an understatement. most of her friends are having fun altogether while she's stuck at home, watching her pile of school work grow and grow.

as she lay, sprawled out on her bed, thinking of what to do, she decided to facetime chase.

she stared at her phone for a few seconds as she read,

facetime unavailable

a frown appeared on her face. "whatever. he's probably busy", she shrugged it off.

exiting the facetime app, she took to twitter to tweet (with hopes that her brunette best friend would see her tweet in time) ;

have to do my school work😔

after being on twitter for a few extra minutes, olivia figured that it was best if she actually started some of her work.

just as olivia had gotten her maths jotters out, her phone screen lit up from where her phone was placed; on top of her bedside drawers. she reached over from where she sat on her bed and took her phone.

her eyebrows furrowed together as she read the screen;

'ant🐜 would like to facetime...'

anthony?

the brunette girl pressed the accept button and once she had seen anthony's face, they both cracked a smile at each other.

"i saw your tweet and i was bored too so i thought why not facetime you", anthony explained himself.

"well you should've done so earlier. i was just about to start doing my maths", olivia jokingly rolled her, as she held one of her jotters in her left hand, waving it at her screen.

"wow! olivia doing school work?", anthony brought his free hand up to his mouth, letting an exaggerated gasp escape his mouth as he did.

olivia put her phone, face upwards, on her bed as she recollected her jotters and put them on the floor. anthony spoke up, "so, um, how's school?"

she sighed, "it could be better.. but i guess i'm glad to be back cus i've missed my friends at school". anthony was able to see her face again as she laid back in bed with her phone in her hands.

"so what's up with you and chase? do you actually like him?"

"no. he's like my best friend so obviously, i'd like him. just not in the way others think i do. everyone's like 'ooh you like him', but i don't.. even if i did, he's got a girlfriend. there's nothing i can do about that." olivia let out a small chuckle, "enough about me and chase. how's your day been?"

"oh, it was great. y'know.. sat and played fortnite for most of the day. one day, i'll teach you how to play fortnite."

"who says i don't already know how to play fortnite?", she teased, raising her eyebrows.

"oh really?"

"yeahh", olivia started laughing, "noo i was kidding. i don't know how to play"

"shame on you. you're gonna be part of the lights out tour this summer right?"

"yeah, why?"

"because so am i", anthony grinned.

"no way, really? aw yay!" just the thought of meeting anthony made her smile big time.

"good night ant"

"bye, good night!" anthony waved at his screen and olivia waved back. she ended the facetime and checked the time on her phone; 9:36 pm.

olivia put her phone back onto her bedside drawers and laid on her back, thinking. it was nice talking to anthony. they talked about practically anything that came to their minds, whilst olivia did some of her work and to olivia, that was nice.

once it hit 10 o'clock, olivia decided to call it a night and get the well-deserved sleep that she had been deprived of these last couple of days.
