Tessa was confused after finding out about Lyra and Fred.

She was happy for her best friend obviously but she was upset.

How could Lyra keep it from her for that long?

She could never imagine herself keeping a secret from Lyra for that long.

She was currently studying for a potions test while also listening to Lyra talk about Fred.

"He makes me feel safe, you know? He's like my home" Lyra smiled.

"Well it's not like you mention it about twenty times a day" Tessa joked, smiling.

"I'm sorry, i'm sorry. It's just... I can't help it. I've never felt this way"

"I know and i'm happy for you. I really am" Tessa smiled, placing her hand on her best friend's.

"Am I interrupting anything" Fred asked, walking over to the two.

"Yes"

"No"

Tessa and Lyra answered at the same time, causing them to stare at each other.

"You aren't" Lyra smiled, looking at her boyfriend.

"Good" He said before kissing her.

"Ew" Tessa's face scrunched up.

"Just cause no one loves you doesn't mean you have to be grossed out about people who are actually in love" Fred smirked at her.

"It's not people in love that gross me out. It's you that grossed me out" She smiled at him, sarcastically.

"Nah I think you're just jealous" Fred questioned.

"And why would I be jealous, hm?" She questioned, tilting her head.

"Because we're in a happy relationship and you're not"

"What If I don't want to be in a relationship? Ever though about that?" She smiled slightly.

"No. Because I don't spend that much time thinking about you. It would be a waste" He

"I don't like your boyfriend" Tessa told Lyra, ignoring Fred.

"And I don't like your best friend" Fred told his girlfriend.

"Well I love you both so quit it" Lyra rolled her eyes at their childish behaviour.

"Are they arguing again?" George asked, making himself known.

He walked over to the three and stood behind Tessa's seat.

"Hello Tess" He smiled, looking down at her.

"Only my friends can call me Tess" She rolled her eyes.

"Wow. I am so hurt" George put a hand over his heart and pouted.

She rolled her eyes but a part of her wanted to smile.

"I bet you forty Galleons that they'll fall in love" Lyra whispered to Fred.

"You're on. Forty Galleons that they won't" Fred whispered back, shaking hands with his girlfriend.

"What are you two whispering about?" Tessa asked.

"Nothing" Lyra smiled.

"Okay" Tessa nodded, not believing her.

"Need help with potions?" George asked looking at Tessa's book.

"If I needed help I wouldn't ask you. I would definitely fail"

George's mouth hung open, being offended that she basically just called him dumb.

"She's not entirely wrong" Fred laughed.

"You can't talk either, Fred. You're both stupid" Tessa told him.

"What?! Lyra! Tell her I'm not stupid" Fred whined to his girlfriend.

"Can't do that" She shrugged.

"Why not?"

"Because she's right" Lyra chuckled.

Tessa didn't actually dislike the twins, she may act like it but she didn't.

She just acted like that with all new people she met, it took her a while to adjust and feel comfortable with new people so most of the time she would just act like she didn't like them.

But the hard part with doing that with the Twins is that they were really likeable.

One of them more so then the other.
