── .EVIE AND FREDDIE were making out in the conservatory when loud banging erupted and they jumped up, looking around as planks of wood was thrown onto the windows and doors, giving them no exit out of the cottage.

"What the shit?" Freddie rolled his eyes and heavily sighed, sick of all of Audrey's games, he didn't even understand why she was upset, she did everything herself. Before Mal arrived, Ben was already talking about breaking up with her because she had become a mean girl, and Ben wasn't into that.

"We're trapped!" Celia screamed and Evie grabbed onto Freddie's hand, dragging him out of the conservatory and into the living room/kitchen where Mal, Uma and Celia were all stood, huddled together in fear.

"Are you guys okay? What's going on?" Evie questioned, placing her hand on Mal's arm as Freddie stared around the room, looking at all of the boarded windows. The purple-haired girl held her hands out and glowed her eyes green.

"You've caused my friends pain and fear. We've had enough, now disappear!" When nothing happened, Mal stood down and looked at her hands in worry, "You guys, I'm sorry. My spells aren't working. Audrey's magic is getting stronger."

"I guess that means I can't kick the doors down." Freddie huffed, slumping down at the kitchen table in the dark room. He raised his brows, noticing Jane's cake on the table with a couple of plates of cake near it, so he picked up a fork, digging into a half-eaten cake with amusement.

"You've caused our friends pain and fear, we've had enough, now disappear." Freddie looked up to see both Mal and Uma stood side by side with their hands interlocked, both trying the spell and he glanced around, noticing nothing was happening until the boards fell off of the windows, making them free again.

"You did it." Evie sighed in relief, stood behind the two and she glanced at both of them with a smile, "Together. This is what I've been talking about."

"I guess my shell likes you." Uma smiled, referring to her shell necklace given to her by her mother, Ursula and Mal laughed out loud. Uma opened up her shell and pulled out a blue rock known as the ember and placed it in Mal's hand, "Why don't you hold onto that?"

They both fist-bumped and Mal giggled once more before Celia ran over to the glass door, looking through the window. The younger girl spun around with a smirk on her lips, crossing her arms over her chest, "Hey, it's your bae."

"What?" Freddie yelled and jumped up out of the chair, rushing out of the door before any of the girls and he found himself staring into the eyes of a boy who didn't look like Ben, "Wait, what happen—"

"Ben!" Mal squealed, running over to her fiancée and the couple wrapped each other in a tight embrace. Freddie stood to the side with scrunched brows when someone approached, pulling his eyes away.

"Audrey turned him into a Beast and we saved him... mostly. That's why he has a beard." Carlos shrugged with an amused smile and Freddie nodded, now understanding what was going on. The two friends embraced each other and Jay approached, hugging Freddie too. His friendship with Mal might be rocky, but his friendships with the rest of the VK's who arrived all the that time ago were all so solid, and that gave him a sense of relief.

"I always knew you'd be part of the solution." Ben spoke to Uma, his arms wrapped tightly around his fiancée and Uma grinned, rolling her eyes playfully at his words whilst Harry glared.

"What is this?" Mal stroked his beard and Freddie pointed at her, also wondering about that even though Carlos had already explained, "I could get used to this."

"You like it?" Ben grinned, lifting his head to touch it himself and he tensed when Freddie jumped on his back, throwing his arm around his shoulders.

"Yes, I do." Freddie muttered, wiggling his brows and he leaned forward to kiss Ben's forehead, puckering his lips dramatically only to be pushed away by Ben playfully, causing the Prince to let out a laugh.

"What about those?" Uma appeared, pointing at her own teeth but gesturing to Ben's new fangs which Freddie didn't notice before and Ben opened his mouth wide to show his new teeth off to Mal.

"No." Mal shook her head in playful disgust.

"I like them." Ben mumbled, and both Mal and Uma let out giggles. Freddie moved over to Evie, his hand snaking behind her and around her waist, resting on her hip and he leaned his lips towards her ear.

"Friends?" He whispered, and with his free hand, he pointed to both Uma and Mal. Evie scrunched up her nose with a small smile, shrugging at his question and leaning back into his chest slightly.

"I'm getting there." She whispered back with a slight smile on her face, watching as Mal and Uma giggled together like best-friends.

"Okay, so, we all think that Audrey could be at Fairy Cottage. We have no idea where it is. Did she ever take you there?" Mal asked Ben as everyone stood behind, watching the interaction with curious looks, waiting for Ben's reply.

"Every Fairy Godmother's Day. Where is Fairy Godmother when you need her?" Ben questioned nobody in particular, but his eyes were glued to Jane, who was sat at a table beside Doug and Carlos was stood nearby, her gift in his hands.

"I wish I knew." Jane's tone was sad, and Freddie sent her a tight-lipped smile, receiving a small smile full of misery in return. Mal and Ben muttered quietly for a few moments whilst Freddie kept his hand on Evie's hip, his thumb caressing the fabric of her skirt gently, sending butterflies in her stomach.

"Freddie!" Ben called out and Freddie's eyes snapped from the side of Evie's face to his beast best-friend, a smile appearing on the prince's face.

"Yes, my bearded friend." Freddie grinned from ear-to-ear and Ben rolled his eyes playfully, despite the fact that it wasn't a time for jokes, Ben couldn't ever stop laughing at Freddie's humour, it just gets him every time.

"Would you mind going with Jane to find Fairy Godmother?" Ben asked, approaching his friend and placing his hand on his shoulder. The two used to be connected by the hip, but ever since the whole proclamation situation, they'd slowly spread apart without either of them noticing and now, they'd be mutual friends at most.

"Sure." Freddie looked over at Jane, who was comfortable under Carlos' arm and he sent her a smile along with a nod, receiving a happy grin in return, much different to the one he had received a couple of minutes prior. He assumed it was because of the gold necklace Freddie had made for Carlos to gift to Jane.

"Can I come too?" Gil raised his hand with a toothy grin and Freddie chuckled, nodding towards him.

"Any particular reason?" Freddie raised a brow and Gil just shrugged, pretending to not know although he did. He'd only known of Freddie for a little while, he met him at the Isle all that time ago but it was only for a brief time. But, that was enough time for Gil to notice Freddie's sense of humour and his personality, and that was something Gaston's son admired.

"Well, all right, man. Let's do it!" Gil exclaimed, raising his hand towards Freddie, who high-fived him and the two approached Jane. She looked slightly intimidated in front of the two muscly boys, but she knew none of them would hurt a fly, they were both too goofy for their own good, "Which are better, grapes or apples?"

Gil's arm was around Freddie's shoulders as they walked towards places Fairy Godmother would be, following after Jane and whilst Freddie and Jane's first priority was to find her Mom, Gil's priority was to become friends with Freddie, which was sweet when you thought about it, but that could always happen later.

"I'm gonna have to go with grapes. Purple grapes." Freddie closed his eyes, reminiscing about the last time he had eaten the small purple fruit and Gil nodded enthusiastically, agreeing.

"Yeah, man! Same here! What about you, Jane? You like grapes?" Gil watched as Jane continued walking, much faster than the other two, meaning they had to almost run to catch up. It was kinda scary actually, they were both much taller than Jane yet she was faster.

"Who doesn't?" Jane questioned, a grin on her face as she stared at her light blue flats and Freddie tilted his head, shrugging. He couldn't lie, she was right. Only weird people didn't like grapes.
