── .✦ WHEN THEY ENTERED Lady Tremaine's Curl Up and Dye, Evie gasped at the sight of her long seen friend she saw as a sister to her before she put her finger to her lips, shushing both Mal and Freddie, who obeyed with nods.

The two girls approached Dizzy, Evie rushing first as Freddie admired the colourful salon with wide eyes, finding the place to be awesome. He would've loved to have a place like that to create all of his crowns and tiaras in, exactly like that with all of the colours and clutter.

Accidentally, Freddie knocked the broom over that was leaning against a worktable, startling Dizzy and she looked to her left to see the blue-haired girl, "Evie? Evie, you came back!" She jumped out of her chair, embracing the girl as quickly as possible.

"Hi!" Evie hugged her back with a huge smile as Mal stood beside them, her hand resting on the back of Dizzy's chair.

"Hey. So great to see you, too." Mal added sarcastically, causing Freddie to snort from where he stood, picking up the broom to put it back where he found it.

"Is it all just like we imagined? Wait, is that Prince Frederic? Is he your boyfriend? Oh, my God! What does ice cream taste like?" Dizzy rambled on loudly, and both Evie and Freddie chuckled.

"It's cold and it's sweet. And if you eat it too fast, it gives you a headache." Evie responded, ignoring the previous questions and only Freddie had noticed, his smile faltering slightly.

"Really?" Dizzy asked, her smile wide and bright.

     "Yeah."

"I saved your sketchbook for you." Dizzy ran off to a nearby worktable to grab the book and Freddie's ears perked up at the sound of a sketchbook — he loved sketching, if you didn't already know.

"You did?" Evie gave Mal a look and turned to Dizzy, watching as the girl ran back over, the very full book in hand, "Dizzy... Oh, my gosh. Wow."

Freddie strolled over as Evie sat in the chair, opening up the book in glee. She opened it up to a coloured sketch of her in a yellow and blue dress with a few small pieces of blue fabric pinned to the paper along with a little description beneath the fabric, and Freddie gawked at the sight of how much detail she put into the simple sketch.

"I made this dress out of an old curtain and safety pins." Evie smiled proudly at her accomplishment, and her fashion designing past on the Isle.

"Not surprised." Freddie leaned on his hand that was pressed against the table as he stared down at the sketch from beside Dizzy, and Evie looked up at him with a smile, her cheeks slightly flushed.

"It reminds me of the dress you made for Mal when she met Jasmine." Dizzy piped in, pushing her glasses up to the top of her nose and Evie nodded in agreement.

"I spilled curry all over that." Mal told them, causing Freddie to chuckle.

"You did." Evie agreed.

"Yeah!" Dizzy giggled loudly, and Freddie smiled before looking back down at the sketch mesmerisingly, "Saw that."

"You're totally right, Dizzy. This was... This was totally the inspiration for that." Evie looked down at the page with a small smile and Dizzy clapped her hands together in excitement.

"I knew it! You can take the girl out of the Isle, but you can't take the Isle out of the girl." Dizzy quoted, hugging Evie from behind and when she pulled away, Evie looked up at her for a moment before she looked back down at the table, closing her book.

The blue-haired girl quickly picked up a large golden clip and a heart gem with a crown on top of it, placing the gem on top of the clip, "Is this too much or is this fabulous?"

"Hand me the glue gun." Dizzy spoke in a 'duh' tone, one hand on her hip and the other out for Evie to place the glue gun in it, which she did and she held the clip out for Dizzy to stick glue onto.

Freddie chuckled and walked over to Mal so he could help her assemble the smoke bombs, since he'd done it before multiple times... he doesn't remember why, "You got it?" Freddie asked, holding onto the glove that held the guts of the bomb as Mal poured the chemicals inside and she nodded carefully.

"Yeah, I got it." Mal assured him and he smiled at the success, tying it up as Evie approached, Dizzy close behind.

"Perfect, that makes five smoke bombs." She placed another smoke bomb in the back gently, and Freddie placed theirs in after tying it tightly.

"I think that's enough, right?" Mal looked to Evie, who flipped her hair over her shoulder with a quick nod.

"Yeah. M, how amazing would this look with my shredded tee and my heart purse?" Evie held a plastic golden headband with a line of red hearts along the front above her head with a grin and Freddie stuffed his hands into his pockets, watching her intently with love heart eyes.

"Very amazing." Mal nodded, giggling slightly.

"Take it! Take a bunch!" Dizzy exclaimed, running over to her table to gather some of her accessories for Evie to take.

"Oh, Dizzy." Evie smiled wide, rushing to grab her bag and held it open for Dizzy to place to handfuls of accessories inside, "Oh, my gosh! Thank you."

"It would make me so happy to know that you were wearing something of mine in Auradon, almost like me being there myself." Dizzy expressed, making it extremely clear that she wanted to be in Auradon with Evie more than anything, and the aforementioned girl pulled the brunette in for a tight hug as Mal and Freddie watched with smiles.

"I really wish I could take you with me." Evie told her, and they pulled away as Freddie was stuck in thought for a moment. There could be a way to make that happen, he'd just have to talk with Ben.

"At least one of us had our dream come true, right?" Dizzy asked innocently with a giggle, but Evie didn't smile nor did she laugh because she was genuinely upset that she couldn't bring Dizzy and make her dreams come true.

"Yeah." Evie responded sadly, looking to her boots for a moment when Freddie walked forward, smiling wide at Dizzy.

"Don't give up on that dream yet, Dizzy. I give you my word, it will come true." He pointed his finger at her demandingly with a grin and Dizzy giggled excitedly towards him, jumping up and down on the spot.

"E, we gotta go." Mal told her friend after she checked her watch and Evie nodded, waving at Dizzy. Both Freddie and Mal waved at the girl too and she walked off, sitting back down in her chair with a huge smiled on her face, thanks to Frederic. The three left after sending Dizzy one more glance and on their way out, Freddie placed his gloved hand in Evie's with a
smile.

"I promise you, she'll be a princess soon, too." He assured her with a smile and her cheeks reddened as she looked down, uncontrollably smiling. Freddie smirked as they continued to walk towards the shipping deck.

After ten minutes of walking, Freddie found himself a few metres behind them, carrying all of their bags in silence as they both gossiped together in front of him, "Works every time!" They both shouted in unison, laughing together and slightly frightening Freddie.

"I really thought that's what you and Ben had. Do you want to talk about it?" Evie asked, and they both stopped in the middle of the alley, causing Freddie to stop abruptly and he stood patiently behind them, adjusting Mal's bag on his shoulder.

"I'm not coming back, Evie. I can't." Mal stated, taking a step back from her bummed best-friend, "I really tried to tell you. But, I mean, I saw the way your face lit up when Freddie flirted with you for the first time. And I couldn't spoil that for you."

"If you're staying, I'm staying, too." Evie claimed, and Freddie's head snapped up from the concrete beneath him in shock, looking at Evie with a look of defeat.

"Really?" Freddie asked her, and she looked to him, almost melting at the sight of the heartbroken look on his face that she caused.

"No." Mal answered for her, momentarily glancing at Freddie, "Evie, you are an Auradon girl. And I am, and will always be, the girl from the Isle." Mal chuckled a little, and Freddie shook his head in disagreement as she bent down, picking up a rock to throw it at the sign so they could enter the apartment.

"Guys, I'll be right back, I need to pee." Freddie raced up the steps, and into the apartment where he dropped all of the bags onto the couch in a rushed manner before he ran to the bathroom... where he fell asleep.
