── .✦ "OH COME ON, Chad. What is your problem?" Freddie huffed, his hands down by his sad with a tired look on his face. Chad turned around, and quickly chucked the stolen belongings onto Freddie's bed before he made a run for it. He sped out of the room, leaving the darker-haired prince with a hand on his forehead, "I am so sick of this."
He closed the door behind him before he made his way towards his bed, sitting down beside the pile of stuff. The blond had stolen not only his keys, but a notepad, a couple dollar bills and a rare-to-find book that took Freddie forever to find.
It kept on happening, Chad would continuously steal from Freddie when the younger boy was absent, and he was seriously considering switching rooms with somebody else. The only thing that had stopped him from doing it already was the fact that he didn't want anybody else to be robbed.
With a sigh, the boy quickly stuffed his belongings into his nightstand top drawer before he leaned back on his bed, one arm above his head resting beneath the back of his head. A couple of minutes later, he managed to doze off. The last couple of days were slightly rough as he was practically Ben's servant, running around and doing all of the boy's errands as he planned the arrival of the villain kids.
It was hard, but now, he was finally getting some well deserved rest. Well, that was until he was rudely awakened by quick footsteps erupting past his door. His eyes flickered open, and he looked over at his door to find shadows moving under his door through the light from the hallway.
The footsteps could've been from anyone, and his best guess was a few kids sneaking out, so he thought nothing of it. Shrugging, and falling back to sleep to the sound of Chad's annoyingly loud snores.

THE WHISTLE BLEW, and the tourney coach called out, "Jay, Ben, offence. Chad, you're defence. Taylor, you're the shooter. Hey. Hey! Hey, you. Lost boy! Put your helmet on. Get out of the Kill Zone!"
"Carlos." Freddie waved him over, and Carlos quickly placed his helmet back on his head before rushing over to the prince. Coach whistled again, and that was when the practice game began. Jay had the ball, and he began to knock into defenders, chucking them to the ground.
Freddie chuckled, "Jay!" He yelled out, and the villain kid threw the ball over to the prince. The Fitzherbert ran around, dodging defenders before batting the ball back to Jay, who was literally making anyone in his way fly to the grass.
He screamed as he ran into the Kill Zone, dodging every single disc that was shot at him. He did backflips, front flips and even no-handed cartwheels, impressing everyone. He exited the Kill Zone and ran towards Carlos, who began screaming in fear.
"Jay, it's me, Carlos. Wait, stop, Jay. Stop!" Carlos yelled frantically when Jay came running towards him, "No, no, no, no. No!" He laid on the ground, his shield covering his entire body and Jay stood on the shield, using it as a ramp.
The long-haired boy jumped off of it, running into Ben before hitting the ball into the goal with perfect accuracy. All of the cheerleaders celebrated, and that's when Jay began to get excited, "Oh, yeah! Come on, let's go!"
He breakdanced on the ground after pulling off his helmet and gloves, whooping and dancing on the spot, "What just happened? Who is this guy?" Chad questioned from the ground and the brunet walked up beside him.
"A super cool dude, that's who he is." Freddie told the Charming, who looked up at him confused and in pain.
"You! Get over here!" Coach yelled at Jay, and Freddie dropped his grin as Jay jogged over, a wince replacing his smile. He was surely about to be scolded, but as Freddie followed behind Ben and Carlos, he overheard Coach actually praising Jay, "Come find me later. I'll show you something you haven't seen before. It's called a rule book. Welcome to the team, son." He patted the long-haired boy on the shoulder with a small chuckle before he looked over at the frazzled Carlos with a confused look, "You ever thought about band?"
Carlos laughed sarcastically and Jay chuckled, his arms crossed over his chest. Freddie moved forward and smiled wide at Carlos, "You know, band is actually pretty cool. I feel like you'd look good on the drums."
"Really?" Carlos asked with a shocked expression, and Freddie nodded before Ben patted both of their shoulders with a grin.
"We'll work with him, Coach." Ben reassured the man, who gave a wince and a small nod.
"All right. Let's run that again." He blew his whistle again and Jay whooped, turning around to face Chad, the prince looked pretty mad but it didn't faze Jay as the buffer boy walked away, bumping into the blonde-haired prince's shoulder on his way.
"Ow." Chad winced, holding onto his shoulder and he turned around to face Freddie, who watched with a humiliating chuckle, causing the older boy to roll his eyes, "Whatever."

IN CHEMISTRY CLASS LATER THAT DAY, Freddie sat tiredly beside Chad as the aforementioned prince stared lovingly at Evie, who was sat beside Doug, staring right back at him with the same awe expression.
Chad looked away when he noticed her staring, and pretended to be oblivious, staring into the ceiling in a strange way, causing Freddie to snort at the boy's behaviour.
"Evie. Perhaps this is just the review for you." Mr. Deley spoke loudly, catching everyone's attention, and Freddie's eyes snapped over to the blue-haired beauty, immediately taking in her pretty tiara that sat atop her head. It was an ethereal tiara, but it didn't exactly scream 'Evie', so he made a mental note to design her a new one, "So tell me, what is the average atomic weight of silver?"
"Atomic weight?" Evie asked, clearly oblivious to what that meant, and Freddie mentally facepalmed, he wanted nothing more than to help her in that situation but there was literally nothing he could do other than sit there in silence, watching her downfall — unless, of course, she knew what it meant, "Uh, well, not very much. I mean, it's an atom, right?" She joked, and chuckled along with Chad, and Freddie winced slightly as she gave him a 'help me' look.
Mr. Deley wiggled his fingers towards him, and she sighed before standing up from the stool, walking over to the board in grace, causing Freddie to almost drool.
"Let's see." She took the chalk from Mr. Deley with a smile, and began to write, "How do I find the average atomic weight of silver? That would be 106.905 times 0.5200, plus 108.905 times 0.4800, which, Mr. Deley, would give us 107.9 AMU." She finished with a grin, and Freddie furrowed his brows just like the rest of the class, thinking over the answer in his head.
"Amu?" He quietly asked, and he heard a pen squeaking beside him, so he looked over to find Chad writing down a note on a post it, it said 'MEET ME UNDER THE BLEACHERS AT 3'. Freddie rolled his eyes, and focused back on Evie and Mr. Deley, his back leaning on the table.
"I forget. Always a mistake to underestimate a..." Mr. Deley began to speak in defeat when Evie spun around on her heels, cutting him off.
"A villain? Don't make it again." She tilted her head with a sweet smile, chucking the chalk back into his hand before walking away, taking Chad's note on the way. He seemed mesmerised by her as she smiled at him, and they both continued to stare at each other after she sat down, causing Freddie to groan internally.
After the hour of hell, he caught Ben and Carlos after their quick practice, and Freddie walked through the field towards Ben, smiling at Carlos who was far back coming out from the woods, holding the campus mutt, Dude.
"Turns out they don't have dogs, or any pets at all on The Isle." Ben raised his brows, fiddling with his whistle as he stopped infront of his best-friend, who watched Dude and Carlos cuddling.
"That must suck." Freddie sighed heavily, scratching the back of his neck with a yawn, and Ben looked back at the villain kid with a small chuckle.
"Yeah. Carlos is also pretty fast, he may need some practice, but he has great potential. Maybe you could coach him tomorrow?" Ben asked pleadingly, and Freddie assumed he must have plans with Audrey tomorrow, so the younger boy nodded.
"Sure, I wouldn't mind." He replied, and Ben held his hand out to the Fitzherbert for their secret handshake they made when they were five. With a few claps and a chest bump, they finished their handshake and Ben walked off with a chuckle, leaving Freddie to walk over to Carlos, "Hey, guys."
"Oh, hi, Freddie." Carlos grinned as the two walked side by side and Freddie patted Dude's head, scratching the dog's ear gently with a smile.
"How'd practice go?" The prince asked as they made their way back towards the building near the bleachers, and he stuffed his hands in his jacket pockets as Dude licked Carlos' face.
"It went well, Ben's great. You guys are best buddies right?" Carlos questioned with curiosity, and Freddie nodded eagerly.
"Ever since we were babies. I suppose my mom and Belle were close ever since they met at my parents' wedding, meaning they forced us to be close. Good thing we get along." Freddie laughed, and so did Carlos, and the taller boy looked over at the bleachers to find Chad walking away with a smirk plastered onto his face.
In investigation mode, he looked around and found Doug and Evie stood under the bleachers chatting, what made him mad was the fact that Evie was holding onto Chad's backpack, almost cuddling it. She giggled, and walked away from Doug, her heels clacking on the concrete.
"I'll see you around, Carlos." Freddie patted Carlos' shoulder with a smile before he jogged after Evie. It took him a second to catch up to her since she walked pretty fast, even in heels which was impressive, and he stuffed his hands in his pockets as he walked beside her, scaring her slightly, "My bad."
"No worries." She looked down with a small smile, holding onto the backpack tightly. It was obvious she was a tiny bit shy, and it made Freddie all the more confident to speak with her.
"Whatcha got there?" Freddie pointed at Chad's bag, and Evie looked down at it before shrugging slightly.
"Just Chad's homework. He asked for help with it." She spoke as if it was the simplest thing ever, and Freddie scrunched his face up when she wasn't looking, completely baffled although he wasn't surprised, it sounded like something Chad would do.
"Nope." He took the bag from her hands, and she stopped in her tracks, attempting to take it back but he moved backwards, shaking his head, "Don't be fooled by his charm, he may be handsome, but trust me, he's a complete idiot, and he doesn't deserve you."
Evie tilted her head in confusion as Freddie walked away in a hurry, not only was he filled with rage, but he was also pretty hopeful that he got through to the girl. He knew she wasn't silly enough to fall for an asshole like Chad Charming, but all he really knew about her was her name, and a few other irrelevant facts that didn't help his case at all.
But, at the end of the day, was she really that dumb to fall for Chad out of all people?
