Author's POV.

I know it's not the right way to ask nor the right time but still I am asking you because I really want to. And please don't say yes because you don't want to hurt me or anything. Just say yes if you really want" he said looked at her, nodding in the last making her confuse.

"What is-"

"Will you go on a date with me?"

Meera's wide eyes snapped toward him with a mouth little parted clearly showing she is surprised. Way too much.

"W-What?" She utter shockley. She didn't expected him to ask this. Arjun smile seeing her. She look ultra shock and cute that he soo wanted to pinch her nose.

And he did. Hs pinch her nose to which a low cry escaped from her mouth in pain and surprise. Arjun laughed looking at her. She rubbed her nose and looked away.

May be I heard wrong..

She thought but she was proved wrong.

"Sweetheart will you go on a date with me?" This time Arjun asked cupping her cheeks looking straight in her eyes.

Meera's heartbeat accelerate and she bite her inner cheeks before answering. She nodded her head positively and looked down.

Arjun grinned at her response but he want something else. He leans down toward her and stooped when his lips were almost toughing her earlobes.

Meera felt him leaning down and her heartbeat fasten, breath hitched, her body went still when Arjun's lips lightly touched her earlobes. And then he whispered.

"Words wife" but they wasn't forming in her mouth.

"Y-Yes" hearing his more then usual husky voice she stammered and find difficulty in saying a single word.

Arjun didn't want back to his actual position even after getting his answer. He stayed close to Meera, there almost front body was touching and this was making her feel hot and nervous.

After few seconds Arjun took a deep breath inhaling her scent making her shiver.

"Be ready at 7." saying this he moved back and then smiled at her like nothing happens few seconds ago and then turn and left.

Meera stayed there claming her heartbeat. Her hand automatically went on her chest near her heart. She smiled dreamily remembering what happened few seconds ago. She shoot her head shyly and her eyes went to the wall clock.

It shows 5:30 in evening. She have more then 1 hour to ger ready which is more then enough. But she need to decide what to wear.

It was her first date ever that too with her husband, she want it special. Smiling she went inside her room and took a long hot relaxing shower and come out wearing a rob.

As she come out she noticed one packets placed on her bed. Tooking it she inspected the packet only to smile reading the note on it.

It was a gift from her husband, excitement and suprise filled her body and she hurriedly tore the packet to see what's inside.

As she tore it, she gasp, it was beautiful silver dress. She instantly falls in love with it.

She smiled shyly at the thought of her wearing this dress. Sure, she had wore there type of dresses but in front of Arjun it would be for the first time so she was feeling little shy.

Taking a deep breath she started to move she needs to get ready,there isn't many time left.

She wore the dress and paired it with matching silver heels. She didn't use any jewellery other then her engagement ring as she didn't felt like having anything eles.

She brushed her hairs and left them open she put vermilion on them, then she took the nuptial chain and wore it. They didn't go match with the dress but she didn't care!

No matter what, she isn't going to remove them at all. Don't know why but she started to feel them as her part, not as jewellery or anything.

After she was ready she look at the clock it shows 6:55pm. Suddenly she started to feel nervous.

She was going on a date with her husband. She shyly smiled at her though but again she thought what if she do something wrong. What if she say something wrong??

She come back when she heard a knock on the door. Taking a deep breath she stood up and open the door but not before looking at herself in the mirror for the last time.

As she opened the door she was greeted by a hard yet soothing cologne and a very handsome looking her own husband.

She looked at him with little parted lips, her husband was indeed drool worthy. She look up and down, checking him out.

This was the first time she observed her husband's look. She observed how much good looking he is. She know she had good heart but about good look, well she observed it today.

As the door open Arjun looked up only to notice his wife. He didn't mind it at all, he just smrik at her reaction but as soon as he looked a little away from her eyes he too checkout her.

He noticed her cheeks were getting red and then he again looked up only to see him looking at his chest. He so wanted to tease her but stopped.

"Are you ready to go ?" Arjun asked to which Meera looked up with red cheeks and nooded. She wanted him to say something eles or even tell her how she is looking in that dress but when he didn't. She felt little bad but knowing this beautiful night just started and she can't conclude everything all the time she kept her mouth mum with a genuine and shy smile.

"Ok. Lets go" he said forwarding his hand to her. She smiled and put her hand on his.

They both made there way out, she though he will take her to some restaurants as he took her last time but to her surprise he made his way to the garden.

She smiled with a frown at him, but didn't said anything. She followed his step and they were in middle of the garden. To her surprise there was only darkness.

"Arjun ji?" Meera murmured feeling weird when he left her hand there.

" Just a second sweetheart " she heard his whisper near her ear from back which made her gulp. A shiver run in body hearing his husky voice.

She nodded her head not believing her voice to which made Arjun smrik. He love the new found effect he had on her. He look how her body react to him. He love how her cheeks turn red. He love how shy yet bold she is.

And mostly he love his wife.

He smiled when he saw still frozen. He went back while looking at her from back.

Definitely the dress was made for her, she looked gorgeous and cute at same time to him. The way the dress fitted her prettier body do something to his body. The little v-line on her chest was giving a little view of her chest and making him imagine the things.

He had always seen her on saree or suit and she looked sexy and gorgeous on them but this dress which was very first time she wore for him did something twisted with her beautiful self and that was so surprising beautiful that he found his hand itching to touch her.

But mostly he was proud to see the vermilion on her head and the nuptial chain on her neck. His heart swell with pride knowing she is only his and she didn't hesitate to announce this wholeheartedly. He so wanted to hug her or kiss her all over her face.

He was having a hard time in having his hand to himself but he will control himself. Don't matter how much he want to touch her or do many more things but he will not do them....yet!

He want her to be comfortable with him and his touch.

Suddenly the light were on and a part of her garden illuminated with lights.
There was a table placed near the big trees and small chandelier were hanging on the tree making it look beautiful and enchanting.

She was observing thr view with her curious eyes when she felt some moment on her back. She felt he put her all hair aside and ther she felt something cold. She felt him sliding something cold in her neck.

Meera smiled and turned towards him who was looking at her with his one hand behind his neck.

He didn't know how much she liked it. In less time and with lack of knowledge he did this and was hoping she like it.

"Ummm.... hope you like it?? I didn't have much time beside I didn't know much so...-" Arjun was saying all this awkwardly because it was thr first time he did something like this for anyone. But he was cut off when Meera suddenly hugged him.

He was caught off guard and was in shock at her bold step when she whisper.

"I loved it. Thank you " Meera said smiling. It was first time when someone made this much effort for her. Her emotions wasn't balanced at the time, she felt so loved and pampered thinking about what he did for her.

Overwhelming emotion did nothing but made her run to his arms for making herself stable. She just hugged him without thinking much.

Hearing her Arjun too come out from his shock state and hugged her back. Pulling her to himself tightly that not ever air can pass through them.

When Meera control her emotions she lose her hold on him but Arjun wasn't ready to do so. He was loving the feeling of her body pressed against his. He was loving how she also show her interest in making there marriage work.

"Arjun ji" she murmured shyly. In the silent atmosphere, they only can feel peace in each other arms and only can hear thr breezing cold wind and there heartbeat.

Hearing her this low voice he smiled and lower his face snuggling his face into her cork or neck, he just hummed at her still smelling her calming scent. The vibration of his humm send shiver to her body and made her bite her lips the butterfly in her stomach were dancing so fast. Her heart missed a beat when he slightly rubbed his Stubbled cheeks on her neck making her curl her neck while her cheeks turn more red.

This was the first time they were this intimate with each other and surprisingly she didn't felt bad or had any other feelings other then shy, the butterfly in her stomach and the raised heartbeat and temperature surrounding them.

He just smiled seeing his effect on her, he felt excited and happy to see how much her body is sensitive. He just love it. He was more then happy to know she didn't push him like back or she feel uncomfortable.

He moved a little away just enough to bring his face near her ear and then tugged her open hair stand behind her ear before whispering

"You look breathtaking Wife.." he just breathed these word in her ear huskily making her bite her lips and tighten her grip his shirt. She flushed when she felt his rough lips brushing on her ear.

Ummm

She felt some sound coming out of her mouth but before it come out she bite her lips with more pressure. She turn more red, just resembling a tomato when she got to know what type of sound was there. But unlike last time she was ashamed that there type of sound come out of her mouth. She wasn't feeling like being a desperate women this time she feel like a women who love her husband's affection toward her.

Arjun moved back after sometime because it was more then enough for her. But before stepping back he cupped her cheeks and lean down to kiss her forehead.

As his lips touch her hot skin she closed her eyes in bliss. When he kissed her forehead for the first time on there reception infront of media she thought he was pretending but this time. This time wasn't like this.

His kiss show how much he love her, care for her and she wholeheartedly heartily accept his care and love for her. She smiled when his lips lingered there for more then required.

He finally moved back feeling very happy and satisfied with her reaction.

When he moved back he looked down to his wife who's eyes were still close and cheeks were red. He can hear her heartbeat. She breathing heavily.

"Come... we have a date to attend" Arjun said more like whisper. The silent and peaceful surrounding helped Meera to listen what he said.

Opening her eyes she didn't muster up the courage to look straight into his eyes so she looked away, but nooded anyway.

They both seated on there seats, but no one said anything. It was uncomfortable at all. It's just they were still into the blissful moment they had few seconds back that coming into reality or moving on seems a second option.

After few seconds of seeing and looking away and smiling Arjun decided that they should have there meal.

"Let's have out dinner first" he suggested to which Meera looked at him and smiled encouraging.

Like always he served her plate first and then his. This was the thing Meera admire about her husband. Even when they wasn't in talking terms he use to do this and now too. Almost things are same yet so different. Because they way she see all those past thing has changed, her mindset about many things has changed.

After serving the plate they both started to eat. In between Arjun asked few questions here and there like hows the food or hows the decorations etcetera. To which Meera smiled coming out of her shy zone. Once they were complete Meera now was ready to announce her questions list to her Husband. She do wanted to asked questions to him. But still there was a little hesitation.

"Ummm... can I ask something?"

As she asked Arjun looked at her and frown. He didn't like her this question. She didn't need to ask permission but still he didn't said anything. He can't just change everything in just 2 days. This much change was more then expected. He just smiled and nodded at her.

She bite her lips because opening it. This sight distracted him so hard but he just cleared his throat and looked away for a second and then at her.

"Umm what's your favourite colour?" She mentally slapped herself. What type of question it was! Stupid girls!!

Hearing her Arjun smiled at her cuteness and answered.

"Black, grey.....yellow and red " he said the last one popping her face on his elbow and elbow on the table. Meera again bite her lips hearings his answer. Yelled was her favourite colour.

"Yelled and red too?" She murmured.

"Uh-huh. I love someone who love yellow and she took my breath away when she wear red"

He flirted. Meera smiled biting her inner cheeks. He too smiled arrogantly.

On that time itself she decided to wear red tommorow.

After that she asked few more questions to which he answered still flirting.
When Meera was quite satisfied with her question session she took a deep breath in satisfaction and smiled.

After few seconds of silence and smiling Meera asked his birth date. She so wanted to know. She spoiler his plan for her birthday but she was thinking of celebrating his birthday joyfully.

"Ummm... when is your birthday?"

Arjun smiled at her and then shoot his head.

"Its not a important thing..." he dismissed the question but Meera frown at his reply.

"It is..." she replied back with a little pout lips. Arjun was still mesmerised by thr beauty in front of him and her innocent or may not so innocent act wasn't helping.

He cleared his throat for the nth time tonight and then answered.

"Its 26th May"

He answered and then Meera smiled sweetly.

"Ohh..... few day before our marriage" she murmured to herself and mentally noted that date.

"Yes " he said with a smile looking at her. She was in her own world, lost somewhere but a smile was there. The night and the dress and his own mind wasn't helping him much.

It was Arjun's phone ringing sound that bring him back. Meera too looked at him in curiosity. He looked at the screen and then at Meera. He gestured her that he need to took the call. She nooded in understanding and then stood up and went away.

After taking a little more like shouting he come back with a frustrated face.

"What happene??" She asked in concern. He shoot his head and then smiled.

"Nothing.... just our foreign clients want the meetings tommorow early in morning and few work is still left as the meeting was after 1 weeks. " he said with a sign. How much he hate his assistant right now!

"Oh..." she said and looked at the watch. She gasp looking the time. It shows 11pm.

How much they talk today??

"We should go inside now. It's too late and you too have to wake up early." She said in urgency. She stood up hurriedly and the wife inside her woke up.

"No. Sit down we can spend more time" he said and too stood up.

Meera's face shot up toward him and she shoot her head negatively.

"No we can't. Now lets go" she said and held his hand and moved inside. He followed her sulking and cursing.

Ohh how much he want to kill those clients.

As they were in front of Meera room she left his hand and he felt more angry.

He want her with him.

He want her to talk to him.

Meera noticed his sulking face and the hard look.she didn't want to spoil the beautiful night like this. She didn't want him angry.

Without thinking much she tiptoed and whispered near his ear.

"Tonight was beautiful. Thank you."

Shs moved a little back and then looked at his eyes who look little revealed. She smiled at him and he too.

Then she did something he never expected.

She kissed his cheeks lightly and whispered

"Good night husband " she run inside.

Arjun stood there stunned by her. He touched the cheeks where she kissed and closed his eyes to feel her lips again. His lips broke into a big smiled when his mind registered what happened and then he murmured while Smiling dreamily.

"She kissed me...!!"
