"Jessica" Steve whispered, moving her hair out of her face, to get a better look at her.

"Hmm?" She muttered, half asleep.

His heart skipped a beat, she looked beautiful.

"You need to wake up" He told her.

"Steve?" She questioned, only having one eye open.

"We have school today" He reminded her.

"Shit" She sighed before basically jumping out of the bed.

"What?" He asked.

"I didn't tell my mom I was staying out" She told him, quickly picking her clothes up from the floor.

"And my clothes are still all wet. I've got nothing to wear" She groaned.

"You can wear one of my tops and jeans. They're gonna be big on you but it's better then wet clothes, right?" He offered.

"Are you sure?"

"I wouldn't offer if I wasn't sure"

"Thank you" She smiled, slightly.

"No problem" He smiled back at her.

When he walked out of the room to get the clothes she sat down on the bed and thought about last night.

If you told Jessica a year ago that she would sleep at Steve Harrington's house, she wouldn't believe you.

And she actually enjoyed spending time with him and his friends.

Well not so much Tommy and Carol, but it was still a nice night.

Steve walked back into the room, snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Once your changed come downstairs and I'll drive you to school"

"Thank you, Steve"

He smiled and walked out, closing the door.

She put on the blue baggy jeans and white t-shirt, she quickly tucked it in and then walked downstairs.

She walked into the living room and saw Steve sat down.

When he heard footsteps he looked up and smiled at her.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked.

"Can I just call my mom quick?"

"Yeah sure"

Jessica called Joyce, making sure to tell her she was okay.

"Hello, Mom?"

"Jessica?! Where are you? Why didn't you call? I was so worried"

"I'm sorry, I forgot. I'm okay, I slept at a friend's house"

"Which friend?"

"Uh... Nancy" She lied, Steve looked at her and smirked.

"Okay. Next time you stay out make sure you call me, okay? I love you, Jess"

"I love you too, Mom. Bye" Jessica ended the phone call and then left with Steve.

They got into the car and drove to school.

Nancy and Jessica met up right before lunch.

"Have you seen Barb?" Nancy asked.

"Uh, no, not since last night" Jessica said.

Nancy and Jessica sat down at a table with Steve, Tommy and Carol.

Nancy was in between Steve and Jessica, Tommy and Carol were on the other side of them.

"Hey, Tommy. When you left, did you see Barb?" Nancy asked.

"What?"

"Barbara. She's not here today"

"I seriously have no idea who you're talking about" Tommy laughed, making Jessica roll her eyes.

"Come on, don't be an ass, man. Did you... Did you see her leave last night or not?"

"No, she was gone when we left"

"Probably couldn't stand listening to all that moaning. 'Oh! Oh, Steve! Oh, Steve! Oh, Steve!" Carol joked, Tommy joined in at the end, also grunting and banging the table.

Jessica rolled her eyes, again, getting annoyed at literally anything to do with Tommy and Carol.

Steve looked at Jessica for a second before looking back at Nancy.

"Listen... I'm sure she's fine. She's probably just... she's probably just, like, skipping or something" Steve said, trying to comfort her.

"Yeah. Yeah, probably"

Jessica zoned out for the rest of the conversation, thinking about her brother and hoping that he was okay.

Nancy and Jessica were calling Barb's Mom, using a phone at school.

They stood closely so they could both talk to Barb's Mom.

"Hello?"

"Hi. Hi, uh, Ms. Holland, it's Nancy"

"And Jessica"

"Oh, Nancy, Jessica, how are you both?"

"Good. We're good. Um, we were just wondering, uh, is Barb there?"

"Mmm... No, she hasn't come home yet"

"But she did come home, right? After the vigil?"

"No, she said she was staying with you both last night"

"Right, yes. She did, sorry. We meant, did she come home this morning. I think she left some textbooks and she was gonna go pick them up"

"Oh, um, no, I haven't seen her"

"Do- Do you know what? We just remembered... she's at the library"

"Girls, will you please have her call me as soon as you find her?

"Yeah. Yeah, we will. Sorry to bother you" Jessica said before they ended the call.

The girls saw Jonathon with Steve, Tommy, Carol and a random girl, so they walked over.

"What's going on?" Nancy asked.

Jessica looked at her brother with a confused look and he looked away from her straight away.

"Here's the starring lady"

"What?"

"This creep was spying on us last night. He was probably gonna save this one for later" Carol said, handing Nancy a photo.

"See, you can tell that he knows it was wrong, but... Man, that's the thing about perverts... It's hardwired into 'em. You know, they just can't help themselves" Steve said as he walked closer to Jonathon and ripped the photo in his hands, in half.

"So... we'll just have to take away his toy"

"Steve..." Nancy said.

"Don't be an asshole, Steve" Jessica told him.

He looked at her, but quickly averted his gaze.

"No, please, not the camera" Jonathon said,

Tommy walked up to Jonathon, trying to stop him for getting the camera back.

"No, no, wait, wait... Tommy, Tommy. It's okay. Here you go man" Steve held out the camera to Jonathon.

Jonathon reached for it but Steve dropped it.

"Come on, let's go. The games about to start"

"Boo" Tommy laughed, in Jonathon's face.

The group walked away, laughing.

Jessica and Nancy stayed with Jonathon.

They went to pick up the ripped up photos but stopped when they saw Barb in it, sat down by Steve's pool.

"Hey, Nance, Jess! Come on" Steve called out.

Jessica furrowed her eyebrows, why was he calling for her aswell? And why did he use her nickname?

They quickly picked up the pictures of Barb and Nancy put them in her bag.

Nancy walked away but Jessica stayed for a second to say something to her brother.

"Jonathon I love you, but that was stupid of you. Don't do it again" She sighed.

She walked over to Nancy and Steve and gave her brother one more look,

Steve was on the floor, his back against the lockers while Nancy and Jessica were stood up against the lockers and Tommy and Carol were opposite them, sat on a bench.

"So, I told Mr. Mundy... 'The solution of ten plus Y equals... blow me' " Carol told them, her and Tommy laughing.

"Bull, if you did that, you'd be in detention right now" Steve said.

"Saturday"

"I bet Mr. Mundy's still a virgin" Tommy spoke.

"Oh, he's so a virgin!" Carol laughed.

"Maybe you should blow him, Carol. Help your grades a bit"

All of a sudden Nancy walked off.

"Whoa, Nance, where you going?" Steve asked.

"I totally forgot, I told my mom I would, um, I would do something with her" She explained.

"Well, what do you mean? The game's about to start" Steve questioned, standing up.

"I'm sorry" She replied before walking off.

"What the hell's wrong with her?" Steve said, watching her walk away.

"Maybe she freaked out when you went all psycho on the psycho" Tommy joked, making Jessica roll her eyes, once again.

"Oh give me a break"

"What'd you expect dating Miss Perfect?" Carol said.

"You are all honestly, some of the worst people i've ever met, Go fuck yourselves" Jessica said, sticking her middle finger up at them and walking off.

"What did we now" Tommy laughed.

Steve walked after her, he held her arm to stop her from walking off.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Just leave me alone, Steve"

"But-"

Before he could continue what he was saying she walked away.
