Chapter Six
Kristopher
Undevoted, that's exactly how she was, she had made so many threats yet she failed to show up for the whole day. I chuckled as I glanced at my watch. I wasn't expecting her or anything.
Nearly 8pm, I stood up from my chair, I had spent the whole day signing paperwork and declining loan. I actually wanted something different today.
I hopped into the the black limousine and the driver started the engine, he had to drive slowly because of the snow and most roads were still blocked but I got home before nine.
She was waiting for me beside the house, she looked as if she was going for an outing or just came back, She wore a skin fitted silver skirt which was a little above her knee, the skirt started from her waist and brought out her curves. She was wearing a sleeveless black crop shirt and had light make up applied with sandals.
I groaned as I sighted her but still alighted the limo.
"Hi Kris," she smiled and ran to me.
Kris? Who told her she could call me that?
"Don't call me Kris!" I warned her.
"Should I call you Kristopher then?"
"Keep it formal! You're more or less an employee."
She pouted her lips and placed her hand on her hip but as if remembering something smiled sweetly and put her hands behind her.
"Sorry... Mr Lyon."
I ignored her and walked towards the house. I wanted to shout on her, ask her where she had been since morning but I didn't. I'd rather not look at her.
"Where are you going?" I heard her call but I didn't answer instead I pushed the door open.
"We're going out!" She ran in front of me.
"Get out of my way!" I instructed her. She really knew how to get on my nerves.
"No, I'm sorry I wouldn't. After today I only have five days left." She spread her arms sideways.
I stared into her daring eyes for a minute or two, usually she'd have looked away by now but she was determined. I sighed loudly.
"Where are we going?" I asked looking down. I wasn't defeated I was just too tired to argue.
"Yes!!" She squealed out loudly but after noticing my glare composed herself. "We're going clubbing!"
Memories immediately swarm into my head.
"No!" I said sternly catching her off guard and practically running into my house.
"Why not?" She whined behind me.
"How do you expect Kristopher Lyon to get wasted at a club!" I tried to make up an excuse.
"You wouldn't drink if you don't want to. I want you to meet my friends besides you're not suppose to argue with any possible way of getting you to change your mind!" That was from the contract. She actually read the contract?
"If the paparazzi found out. I would be marked irresponsible!"
"This doesn't concern the press!" She rose her voice a little.
"They're the paparazzi! They don't care about boundaries!" I was the last to speak about the issue what Micah did next shocked me.
"Please Mr Lyon , please with strawberry ice cream on top."
I raised my brows in surprise.
"Pleas doesn't work on me. I don't even like ice cream." I spoke calmly. I head ached from all our arguments.
"Who doesn't like ice cream!" She rose her hands in frustration.
"Me!" I spat at her. I rubbed my temples with my fingers. I hated it when I was argued with, who did she think she was? She was loud, annoying, adamant, headstrong, resolute and her childish behaviour annoyed me. In short she was crazy and I didn't need that kind of craziness in my life.
"I'm not going to spend more than an hour at the club, I'm not drinking and I doubt if this is going to change my mind." I walked into the kitchen massaging my temples. I didn't want to look at Micah's face, I knew she would have a victorious smile. She thought she was winning instead she was loosing, my dislike for her was rising.

It didn't snow tonight but was still freezing. The moon shone brighter than I had ever seen.
Micah led me to a small pub, it smelled like drugs and alcohol. I gave her a displeased look before stepping into the pub. Bruce waited outside with the car.
The pub was cramped and really noisy. "I don't like this!!" I had to shout for Micah who was right beside me to hear me.
"You'll love it!" She shouted back with a grin. She waved at four people sitting by a table before increasing her speed.
"Hi, guys!" She hugged the two girls before hugging the guys. "This is my friend,"she introduced me to them.
Friend? I'm not her friend
" Mr Lyon, these are my guys." She gestured to the four of them, two guys and two girls. The two girls smiled at me, one of the guys had a small smile while the other had a nasty glare, I returned the glare.
"Luther, Brianna, Zion and Tori." She pointed one by one.
The girl who she introduced as Brianna broke out in laughter.
"Oh my gosh, did you say Mr Lyon, as in Kristopher Lyon?" She questioned nobody in particular. She stuck out her hand.
" I'm Brianna Gill, it's so nice to meet you!" I glared at her, I looked down at her hand first then her face.
"I don't shake." I replied, I tried my best not to be too harsh, she nodded slowly redrawing her hand.
"He's a little....... Unfriendly." Micah explained and gestured me to sit.
"So, do you drink?" Luther asked pouring Vodka into a glass cup.
"Not tonight." I pulled my phone out of my pocket. I had five unread messages from Camille.
'Hi Kristopher'
- Camille
'Where r u?'
- Camille
'We need to talk'
- Camille
'Kristopher why aren't you replying my texts? "
- Camille
'I'm on my way to your house'
- Camille
I groaned in agitation, Camille wasn't the type to bother, I made it clear to her that she shouldn't contact me unless I called her first.
Micah and her pals had started drinking and laughing and for some reason their laughter annoyed me, everything got on nerves. I pulled out a smoke from my pocket and stood up from the chair, I turned my back to leave but was called back.
"Are you leaving?" I turned back to face the raven haired man.
"Just going out for a smoke." I rose the cigarette in my hand a little.
"Mind if I come along?" He asked already standing up.
"Yes, I prefer to smoke alone." My forehead creased. I was indirectly telling him I didn't like his presence. I didn't like anybody's presence in this pub, it gave off a weird vibe and made me think about her.
I wanted to go for a smoke to clear my mind.
"You won't even notice I'm around" he insisted.
I shook my head before leaving, I could hear his footsteps behind me. Despite the noisy pub they were heavy.
