"Black suits you"
In the past
3rd person POV
Ginny Weasley hadn't spoken to Harry Potter in five days. She had told herself that ignoring the problem was better than addressing it, and for once her best friend Hermione Granger had agreed.
"He's being a big baby," Hermione said. Ginny looked her in the eyes which was made harder by the fact that she couldn't see through the tears streaming down her face. She had never expected it to get this bad. She had never gotten into a fight this bad with Harry. For once it felt like there was no resolving this argument. Ginny fell back onto her bed, looking up at the ceiling as a tear dribbled down her cheek.
"Ginny you are the strongest person I know. I know that in the past I've been... well more than supportive of your relationship with Harry," Hermione stated.
"But I think that at this point if Harry is going to keep acting like this then it's no ones fault but his. Sometimes letting go is the best thing you can do." Ginny slowly raises her head before meeting Hermione's eyes. They are filled with tears as well. Ginny gets up quickly and wraps her arms around her. They embrace for a long moment before Hermione pulls back facing Ginny once again.
"I love you and I always will. I love Harry too, you guys will always be my whole world. My best friends forever but I will never tell you to be in a relationship with someone who isn't right for you. And even though I ship you two even more than my own relationship, your happiness comes first. Always and forever," Hermione says in between sobs. Ginny grasps her tighter crying into Hermione's blue robe.
"I'm so sorry Mione I'm totally running your satin robe," Ginny sniffles.
"It's ok Gin but speaking of my robe we do need to get ready for the funeral," she responds. They finishing hugging before Hermione goes to the bathroom to finish curling her hair. Ginny walks to her closet before pulling her dress out of it. She quickly applies a thick layer of what she calls the greatest mistake of your life cover. It's a very sticky and thick skin looking substance that of course covers her dark mark. She tried charming it to go away but nothing would work so the fake layer of skin it is.
She hurriedly tosses it on before knocking on the bathroom door. Hermione quickly exits already perfectly dressed and ready.
Meanwhile Ginny has all of her make up currently running down her face. She rushes to be in front of the mirror and starts to frantically wave her wand around. Her make up begins to fix itself as Hermione quickly touches up her hair with a little magic placing it in a neat bun at the top of her head. The two rush out making their way down to the land in front of the vast black lake. As the quickly walk towards the lake arm in arm they meet p with Luna who is slowly strolling down the path. In contrast to their fast pace Luna keeps a slow steady walk. As if she knew she would meet up with them if she took it slow. She turns to face the two before the even get a chance to tap her shoulder. She's wearing a black dress of course with beautiful sleeves.
"Hello you two. You look very lovely. To lovely to have to be attending such a sad event," Luna says looking at the two girls with pity. Ginny was about to respond when Neville calls for Luna and she's off in a flash of blonde hair. Hermione and Ginny finish making their way to the lake before Hermione leaves Ginny to speak to her boyfriend. She looks around sighing, as she begins to wait for the funeral to start.
"Black suits you," a voice says. She turns around locking eyes with his brilliant emerald ones.
