Chapter 10. Memory

The air around Bree is dark and thick the, movement of Charlie's Xavier flew by her. She stars blankly as she realizes where she is.

"Why do we need her?!"

"She isn't important"

"Nor is she pretty or smart"

The world around her changes, Bree is back in the beautiful garden that she always dreamt about. i young black haired man sat on a bench with a white rose at hand.

"Why did you leave me sister?" The man turned and looked at her

"WHY!" He cried

"You left me here, all alone. After you passed, everything changed" The man says

"Loki, i'm sorry" Tears poured down Bree's face. The world changed again. This time she was in her and Tony's old lab back in Malibu.

"GET OUT OF HERE, YOUR A MISTAKE!!!! NO ONE WILL EVER LOVE YOU!!" Tony's words spit vemon.

The darkness and screams slowly fade into the real word

Bree blinks as she realizes that she's on the jet. She looked down and noticed she was crying and she felt weak, all the noise around her slowly started to fall into place.

"The news is loving you guys. Nobody else is. There's been no official call for Banner's arrest, but it's in the air."

"Tony Stark: Stark Relief Foundation?"

"Already on the scene. How's the team?"

"Everyone's...we took a hit. We'll shake it off."

"Well for now I'd stay in stealth mode, and stay away from here."

"So, run and hide?"

"Until we can find Ultron, I don't have a lot else to offer." Maria says

"Great" Bree's muffled voice caught Steve Tony and Clint by surprise.

Tony's face softens as he looks to his younger sister.

Bree gets up and walks to the direction of where Thor is sitting.

She sits down beside him and rubs his back.

He looks up to her in shock, but relaxes when he sees its Bree.

"I look like someone you knew from Asgard don't I?" She says, Thor looks to her in shock

"Yes, you remind me of my little Sister" he finally says

"You know since I was 5, I've been having theses weird dreams, every 5 years I would unlock a new part to the dream" She says, Thor looks up to her

"You and Loki have been in those dreams, always" She finishes. Thor looks to her in shock

"That can't be possible, I saw you die" Thor says

"You can't kill a goddess Brother. I thought that all your years war would have thought you that" Bree says with a smile.

Thor smiles and hugs her, but little did they both know is that Tony had saw the whole thing.

"I have missed you Sister" Thor says

"I image that Loki's in an Asgardian prison" Bree says, Thor nods his head

"Well after this is all over, I'm gonna convince Father to release him" Bree says Confidently

Thor looks at her to She the confidence in her eyes, and he smiles.

"If anyone can do it, you can" He says

Bree hugs Thor once more before getting up, and walking to her and Tony's room on the quinjet.

"Tony" She says, as she gently knocks on the door.

Tony's grumbled voice says "Come in"

Bree opens the door to see Tony on the verge of tears.

"Tony what's wrong?"

"Is it true?"

"Is what true?" She asked

"What your dreams meant" He says looking up at her

"It has to be, I saw him and Loki in the visionary's The girl gave me, and she can only pull these visions from things inside are heads" Bree says

Tony looks down and tears start to form in his eyes

"But that doesn't mean that you aren't my blood family. Tony you raised me, I owe you my life, Just because I discover something from my past doesn't mean I don't still love my present" Bree says, Tony looks up at her and hugged her.

Tony pulled away and looked to her

"I love you sis"

"I love you too Tony so much"

the Quinjet lands outside a large farmhouse and they all walk towards the house.

"What is this place?"

"A safe house" Bree said walking next to her brother, Thor looks and notices that she has a big brown side bag

"Let's hope."

they all enter the house

"Honey, I'm home." Clint tells

Barton's heavily pregnant wife, Laura, walks in from the kitchen

"Hi. Company. Sorry I didn't call ahead."

"Hey."

Laura kisses Clint

"This is an agent of some kind." Tony whispers to Thor

"Gentleman, this is Laura." Clint says,

"I know all your names."

Steve, Bruce, Thor and Tony look at her, while Bree walks over and hugs her

"You know her?" Tony says

"Ooh, incoming."

" Dad!"

Barton picks up his daughter
"I see her!"
Clint kisses the top his son's head

"Hey, buddy! How you guys doing?"

"These are...smaller agents." Tony whispers to the guys

"Look at your face! Oh, my goodness!" Bree says

"Did you bring Auntie Nat and Auntie Bree" Lila asked
"Why don't you hug us and find out?"

Lila rushes towards Natasha who picks her up in her arms, while Cooper runs to Bree

"Hey Buddy" She says, as Tony watches in complete shock

"Sorry for barging in on you." Steve says

"Yeah, we would have called ahead, but we were busy having no idea that you existed." Tony says, and Bree sent him a glare

"Hey buddy I got something for you" Bree says to Cooper

"Really" He asked

"Yeah" Bree reaches in her bag and pulls out a baseball glove

"Open the glove"

Cooper opens the glove to reveal its signed by Justin Wilson a pitcher for the Yankees

"Thank You Auntie Bree" Cooper says hugging her neck and ran off to show his dad

"Do you have anything for me?" Lila said

"Why of course" Bree says

She takes the necklace of her neck and hands it to her

"Auntie Bree this is your special necklace" Lila says

"I know, and I want you to have it" Bree says

"Thank You Auntie Bree" Lila says

"Your very welcome Lila" Lila hugs Bree and runs of to show her dad

"So how's little Natasha" Nat says behind Bree

"Actually he's Nathaniel" Laura says

Nat bends down

"Traitor" Bree laughs and shakes her head

"Thor" Steve says

Bree follows them both outside

"Brother where are you going?" Bree asked, Steve turned and looked at her confused

"I saw something in that dream. I need answers, I won't find them here." Thor says, before he takes of he turns to Bree

"I will be back soon dear sister" and with that Thor takes of into the air

"See, you worried for nothing. Can't even feel the difference, can you?"

"If they're sleeping here, some of them are gonna have to double up."Barton laughs

"Yeah, that's not gonna sell."

"What about Bree and Steve? How long has that been going on?"

"Has what?" Laura laughs

"You are so cute." Laura says

"Bree and...and Steve?"

"I'll explain when you're older, Hawkeye."

"Oh. Okay."

"It's bad, right? Nat and Bree seem really shaken."

"Ultron has these allies, these uh, kids, they're punks really. They carry a big damn stick and Nat and Bree both took a serious hit. Someone's gonna have to teach 'em some manners."

"And that someone be you. You know I totally support your Avenging, I couldn't be prouder. But I see those guys, those "Gods"..."

"You don't think they need me"

"I think they do. Which is a lot scarier."

"They're a mess."

"Yeah. I guess they're my mess." Clint tells her

"You need to be sure that this team is really a team and that they have your back. Things are changing for us. In a few months time, you and me are gonna be outnumbered. I need...just be sure." Laura says

"Yes, ma'am." he kisses her, then as Laura places her arm around his waist she touches his wounded side

"I can feel the difference"

Bree sits quietly on her bed in her bra and shorts thinking of the events that she was shown.

Steve walks in and blushes and quickly looks down

"S...Sorry Clint said this was my room"

Bree curses under her breath and quickly throws on a shirt.

"Sorry" Bree says as she looks up to his big bright blue eyes

They reminded her of the ocean, of there shared Zodiac sign. Yes it my Come as a surprise but She actually loves the Zodiac sign.

The two move closer to each other, they were about an inch away from each, the both slowly started to lean in when.....

"Auntie Bree!" Bree quickly pulled away from Steve and bent down to Cooper

"Yes sweetie" She said sweetly

"Will you play catch with me?" He asked, his bright eyes shined at Bree

"Of course I will, let me bring my glove, I'll be outside in a sec" She said, Cooper nodded and took of down the stairs

Bree walks over to the dresser and grabs the glove off it. She turns to Steve

"Um, I'll see you later?" She says in more of a questioning statement

"Yeah uh later" Steve says trying to play it cool but fails.

Bree giggles and walks out of the room to met with Cooper

"Thor didn't say where he was going for answers?" Tony says

"Sometimes my teammates don't tell me things. I was kind of hoping Thor would be the exception." Steve admits

"Yeah, give him time. We don't know what the Maximoff kid showed him."

"Earth's Mightiest Heroes." Pulled us apart like cotton candy."

"Seems like you walked away all right."

"Is that a problem?"

"I don't trust a guy without a dark side. Call me old fashioned."

"Well let's just say you haven't seen it yet."

"You know Ultron is trying to tear us apart, right?"

"Well I guess you'd know. Whether you tell us is a bit of a question."

"Banner, My Sister and I were doing research."

"That would affect the team."

"My Sister said we should tell you but, Ultron was supposed to be the reason the team would end. Isn't that the mission? Isn't that the "why" we fight, so we can end the fight, so we get to go home?"

"Every time someone tries to win a war before it starts, innocent people die. Every time." Steve says
