Y/n was chilling with her two friends, the studbudz, on their twitch stream when she got the message. Her girlfriend's flight was getting closer, meaning she had to go. "Yo, I'mma head out. Gotta go pick my girl up from the airport." She voiced. "Cool. Tell her I said heyyy," T grinned, dapping her up. Y/n and Court shot her a deadpanned look, "why you say it like that?"
T looked at them in confusion, not understanding what they meant. "What? What do you mean?"
"You said "heyyy" like you tryna hit her up or somethin'." Court said, mocking the way T said it with a high pitched girly voice.
T caught y/n trying to fight a smile and immediately figured out they were messing with her. "Man, y'all play too much." They started laughing, the chat blowing up with comments. "But for real, say hi for me," she added. Y/n nodded, dapping up Court before she stood to her feet. "See y'all later chat."
When she left, T and Court turned to read the chat, knowing they were gonna have some questions. Nobody knew y/n was taken so the fact that she casually spilled the beans meant the fans were gonna have questions. Y/n didn't care just people knew, she just didn't want them to know who she was taken by. "We ain't tellin' y'all who it is."
"We want to, but we can't. It's the rules." T added, the urge to talk about it bubbling up again. She just loved their relationship and how wholesome it was. Who wouldn't want to talk about how happy their friend was because of one special person?
Court nods, pulling her shades on, "it's strict 'round here."
Y/n pulled up to the airport, her girlfriend on FaceTime as she looked for her. Instead of staying at the hotel with the team, she was gonna stay with her girlfriend, obviously. "You're in the Mercedes?" She asked, looking around to try and spot the car.
"Yeah, right in front of the Kia."
"Alright, I see you." She hung up and walked over to the car. She hurried to put her suitcase and bags into the backseat before y/n got a ticket for being parked too long. She climbed into the passenger seat and before buckling up, she leaned over to press a kiss to her cheek. "Thanks for picking me up."
"You do the same for me." She pulled out of the spot successfully before reaching over to set a hand on her thigh.
Rhyne smiled, taking her hand and pressing a kiss to it. "I missed you."
She grinned, glancing over at her for a quick second. "I missed you too, baby."
"Are we goin' out to eat or you gonna cook for me again?" Rhy asked, not able to take her eyes off her insanely hot girlfriend. She always looked forward to playing Minnesota just to see her. "Come on, you know I'mma cook for you. I know you miss my cookin' too 'cause you so picky."
"I'm not that picky," she denied.
"Yes, you are. You and Lish are the pickiest people I know." Rhyne smiled, still shaking her head in denial even though it was kinda true. "I'll let you believe that."
"You're so cute when you're in denial," she teased.
"I'm not in denial but I'll accept it 'cause you said I'm cute." Rhyne shrugged, messing with the rings on her fingers, focusing specifically on the promise ring. They didn't even like promise rings like that. They just got matching rings and called them promise rings. She was surprised the fans didn't catch on it yet. Usually they'd find every little detail. But, y/n and Rhy got into it on the court a lot so it wasn't a surprise that they weren't shipped.
As y/n drove, she went on her phone and opened Twitter. Her eyes widened when she seen the tweets about y/n...and Jordin. "Oh my god."
"What is it?"
"You know how you said you had to pick up your girl at the airport?" Rhy was more amused than anything. It didn't bother her, but she knew it'd bother Jordin since her and y/n fought like siblings.
"Yeah..? What happened?"
"Jordin posted a picture when we landed and tagged the location..the airport. Now everyone thinks you and JC and are dating." She stifled a laugh, watching as y/n's expression turned sour with disgust. "Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me. Why her? Tell her to delete the picture."
"If she deletes it, it's just gonna look more suspicious." Rhy snickered, liking one of the tweets about the speculation.
"Why are you laughing? This is not funny."
"It kinda is."

It was the next day, y/n was at the gym while Rhy had a free day. She was gonna use that day to come on Courtney and Natisha's twitch stream. They were having a blast, watching some W games and chatting about all kinds of stuff. They ordered some food when she got there so they were waiting on that to come.
"Nah, you're actually funny for liking that tweet about y/n and Jordin," Court laughed, Rhy smiling at the camera cheekily. Of course the account of the tweet she liked, had posted proof that she had liked the tweet. Which only made people rave about it more because they assumed Rhy was confirming it. It was messy as hell and she found it hilarious. Jordin and y/n? Not so much.
"I thought it was funny." Rhy shrugged, as if everyone in that didn't know how down bad she was for y/n.
"For the fans, can you actually confirm if y/n and JC are really dating?" T asked, deciding to get in on the mess.
Rhy chuckled, fingers messing with the charm bracelet from her girlfriend that ironically had a charm of y/n's college jersey number. Still, no one suspected anything. "When I liked that tweet, I actually just found it funny that people actually thought y/n and Jordin get along."
They both laughed, nodding in agreement, knowing just how true that was. Everyone knew just how much y/n fought like siblings. They even put them in a get-along-shirt during Unrivaled. "But on a real note guys, they're not dating. That's never gonna happen." Rhy clarified with a little chuckle, "not in a million years." She wanted to add, "she's already mine," but resisted.
"Yeah, they not datin'," Court added, glancing over at the game as someone shot a triple.
"We not tellin' y'all nothin'." T grinned, her and Rhy sharing a look at the corner of their eyes. "I feel like realistically, if someone were to accidentally spill the beans, it'd be me." Court jokes, although part of her was being serious 'cause she slipped up a lot.
"Oh, absolutely," T nodded in agreement.
Rhy hummed, mumbling, "better not," under her breath.
A couple more minutes went by and Court got two texts, one from her delivery driver and the other from y/n. She quickly called y/n up, "hey, you downstairs?" She nods as if she could see her, "yeah, why? What's up? What you need?"
"Can you pick up our food and bring it up?"
"Yeah, I got you."
Rhyne smiled, foot tapping against the floor, excited to see y/n as if they hadn't just seen each other in the morning. Five more minutes went by before they heard the door open. She walked down the hall and headed towards them. She was breathing a little heavily, obviously just coming back from a rough training session with her PT. Rhy looked up at her, unable to contain her bubbly smile as y/n set the food onto the desk.
"Preciate it," Court grins.
Y/n glanced down, finally noticing Rhy and she smiled, "oh hey baby. I forgot you were here." Out of pure instinct, she leaned down to press a kiss to her lips, hand cupping her jaw as Rhy rested her hand over her exposed stomach. T and Court both froze, the chat going insane as they realized.
Y/n pulled away and got ready to sit down, plopping down when she was hit with the realization. "Oh shit."
T and Court jumped up, screaming excitedly and shaking each other. Rhy was just smiling, y/n pursing her lips awkwardly, internally calling herself all kinds of names. How could she forget they were on stream? They had been telling her all day. Rhy was quick to take her hands, and press a kiss to her head, filling her with reassurance. "It's okay. It was an accident."
Court took a breath, sitting back down. "I'm sorry- I'm sorry, I just, I really thought I was gonna be the one to say somethin-" T laughed, "I thought so too. Maybe even Diamond."
Y/n sighs, pressing a kiss to Rhyne's wrist, just above her charm bracelet, "well, cats out the bag."
Court nods, "and before y'all start wit' your think pieces, this was not planned. That was genuinely an accident." T nods along with her words, "yeah, they actually datin' for real."
Rhyne smiles, laying her head on her shoulder, the chat going so fast it was hard to read. "I don't know how y'all ain't figure it out sooner," Court comments, passing Rhy and T their food. Rhyne opened it up and offered some to y/n who politely declined. "I'll eat in another hour."
"Nah for real. They got matchin' rings. Rhy gots a charm bracelet with a ton of specific charms that literally describe y/n. It's so sick. Show them the bracelet." T encouraged. Rhyne smiled, holding out her wrist to show the iced out charm bracelet up close. She went on to explain what each charm meant, getting down to the final one, and her favorite. "And this one's y/n's number she wore in college. It's my favorite 'cause it's the first charm she got for me."
Court winces, "and it's iced out. Damn, y/n. You got money. How much you pay for the whole bracelet?"
"You don't wanna know." She chuckled, pulling an arm around Rhy as she began to eat her food. "You know she has my name on her grillz." Rhy added, super excited to finally tell people so she could actually wear them in public and post pictures.
"Wait, for real?" T asked, itching to see them.
Rhy nods and nudges her girlfriend to pull up a picture. She opened her phone and went through her pics, finding the selfie she took with the grillz on. She passed the phone to T who obviously thought they were cool as fuck. She showed Court, who loved them and showed the viewers. "That's crazy. Y'all see that, chat?"
"I got her a chain too," Rhy added, reaching for the chain hiding under y/n's shirt and pulling it out. It was iced out with Rhy's jersey number. "Damn, y'all see that? It's gon' blind somebody." Court grinned, passing y/n her phone back. The chat was still trying to process the fact that y/n and Rhyne were actually together. A lot more people joined to see the couple, probably finding out they were dating from the clips on social media.
"Yeah, she obsessed wit' me," y/n grins teasingly.
Rhyne doesn't make any efforts to deny it 'cause it was absolutely true. But, y/n was equally, if not more, obsessed with her. "You're just as obsessed. Tell 'em what you got me for my birthday last year."
Y/n's eyes widened and she immediately shook her head. No way was that becoming public information. Rubbing Rhyne's arm, she chuckled nervously, "alright, that's enough talk about presents. Y'all ask me some questions, chat. Keep it cute though. I don't play 'bout my woman."
Rhy bit back a smile, taking a bite of her food as they read some questions, also paying attention to the game. "Didn't we used to hate each other? Uh, for some time, yeah. But that's like only on the court. We never had no beef off it." Y/n answered, Rhy nodding in confirmation as she continued to eat.
"How long y'all been together?" T read off the chat, looking to the couple for an answer cause she actually didn't know.
"We comin' up on three years," y/n answered, her girlfriend nodding proudly.
Court chuckles at one of the comments, "someone said they takin' you out for dinner y/n."
Rhyne scoffs, looking annoyed with that comment. "No they're not."
T grins, "you know they was simpin' like crazy in the chat yesterday for y/n. It's wild." Rhyne nods with a salty expression, not liking that at all. "Yeah, I know. I was in the chat. I saw all of it." Court raised her brows, really not expecting Rhy to be the jealous type.
Rhy caught y/n smiling and raised a brow, "why you smilin'?"
Her smile quickly dropped. She cleared her throat awkwardly, "I wasn't."
T was quick to change the subject for her friend's sake. Jealous Rhyne was a little scary. "We should do some karaoke." Rhyne smiles, nudging her girlfriend, "she's just gonna sing a bunch of Disney songs."
Y/n frowned in offense, "What's wrong wit' Disney? I love High School Musical."
"Don't forget Camp Rock."
She grins excitedly, "yes, can we play This is Me?" Rhyne chuckles as they set it up, her girlfriend all excited and bubbly to sing her favorite Disney song. That cool nonchalant facade she had fading instantly. She glanced down at her bracelet, smiling at the Disney charm y/n got her.
"Can we duet?" She requested, holding out a mic to her girlfriend.
Rhyne chuckled, setting her food down to take the mic. "Yeah."
