SUSANNAH SCREAMED WHEN SHE LEARNED JEREMIAH WAS TAKING EVA TO THE BALL. She really was their number one fan. Eva thought it was cute.

"I still don't know how you convinced him to go with you. He swore up and down he'd never go to one of these things. He'd do anything for you, sweetie." Suz told the girl the day of the ball. "His love for you is one of the thing I am the proudest of."

      Eva smiled at her and they entered the kitchen where the boys and Belly were eating. Belly and Conrad had talked after Nicole's party and she agreed to go to the ball with him, even if Taylor wasn't up for it. Jeremiah threw a cereal in the air and tilted his head back to catch it, which made Eva laugh. He turned around and smiled when he saw her.

"Hi, Vava."

"Hi." she smiled.

      She waved at everybody and kissed Jeremiah on the lips before sitting next to him while Louis pretended to be throwing up.

"Gross, don't do that in front of me."

      His sister grabbed a cereal and threw it at him.

"Everyone stay out of the family room." Susannah said. "I've done all your paintings and tonight after the ball, we'll have a big unveiling. Can you put that in Laurel's car, honey?" she asked Jeremiah, giving him the two dresses of Belly and Eva.

"Yeah." he said, grabbing them and running outside.

"Hurry, girls!"

"You're not driving us?" Belly asked Laurel and Caroline.

"We're going with Susannah."

"So I thought, you could drive you both." Laurel told her daughter, holding the keys.

"Really??"

"It's only a few blocks. Unless you don't want to?"

"Yes, yes!" Belly exclaimed, grabbing the keys.

"Drive slow, obey the lights, wait four seconds at each stop sign." Laurel reminded her.

"Yeah, I know!"

      As the two girls were about to leave, Conrad called Belly. Eva made a sign to her that she was waiting for her at the car and left the house when Jeremiah closed the trunk. He smiled leaning against the car as she joined him.

"You nervous?" he asked.

"A little." she confessed.

"Don't worry, we will be the best waltzers out there." he smiled.

"Oh, I know you'll be." she laughed. "But you know, I haven't seen them since Nicole's party and the others must know what happened by now, it'll be so embarassing."

"You want me to come with you? I could be your hairstylist/bodyguard." he winked.

"Um, really?" she giggled, putting her arms around his neck. "Sadly, no, you can't be in the room, it's girls only."

"Listen, love, you'll be fine. I'll be right by your side the whole night. I won't let you down, okay?" he told her and she nodded. "And if anybody gives you shit..."

"You'll do what? You'll stop smiling at them?" she mocked and he laughed.

"I'll be like 'yo, that's not cool at all', I'll grab you hand, and we'll dance away from anybody." he concluded, making her spin.

      She smiled as he put his hands on her hips to kiss her.

"I love you." she whispered between two kisses.

"I love you too."

      Belly get out of the house and Jeremiah pulled away and smiled.

"I'll see you at the club. Drive safe, Bells."

      He kissed Eva one more time and go back inside the house.

      The girls had spent over an hour getting ready for the ball. Belly had talked to Nicole about what had happened and things seemed to have worked out. Eva was a little stressed but the fact that Belly was with her comforted her.

      She firmly held her bouquet of flowers in her hands to reassure herself. She passed just after Gigi and just before Belly. The blonde came on stage when her name was announced and Eva took her place at the backstage entrance. Across the way, Jeremiah stepped forward and smiled as he looked at her. She smiled too. He was really handsome in his suit.

"Evangeline Campbell, daughter of Henry Campbell and Caroline Popes." Paige announced in the microphone and Eva and Jeremiah walked on stage and met at the center of the room. He held out his arm and she clung to it, feeling the pressure ease now that she was with him. "Student at the Varsity High School where she is captain of the rhytmycs gymnastics team, a sport in which she excels and is regional champion."

"You're beautiful. A literal godess." Jeremiah whispered to her.

"You're the most handsome person I have ever seen." she said back.

      He giggled and they took a step forward to be under the lights.

"Evangeline raised 5000 dollars for the association 'All of us' which fights for gender equality."

      The photographers took a few pictures of the couple before they descended the steps to join the circle of debutantes while Paige called out Belly's name. Jeremiah glanced at Eva as she smiled holding his arm while Meredith gave her two thumbs up with a smile.

      They stopped in front of the table where her parents were sitting and Eva let go of Jeremiah to give her mother her bouquet. Caroline hugged her and whispered to her that she was very pretty before Louis got up in turn to kiss her. Eva waved to Jonathan, who had accompanied her brother, and returned to take her boyfriend's arm.

"You look very good in a suit." she whispered to him.

"You can take it off me tonight." he smiled. "I'm better without it."

      She chuckled nervously and nudged him, blushing sightly.

"Shut up, someone could hear you." she said discreetly and he laughed. "But I kinda like the idea." she added with a soft smile.

      Jeremiah smirked as he looked at the people sitting in the room. He slipped an arm around her waist to pull her closer and she smiled. As Paige continued to announce the names, Laurel got up from her chair and ran out of the room. Jeremiah and Eva exchanged a surprised look and the brunette glanced at Belly who looked as stunned as she was. John followed her a few seconds later but Eva didn't have time to wonder anymore because Paige finished her presentation and everyone clapped as the debutantes bowed.

      Everyone walked away for the girls' partners to perform the opening dance and Jeremiah went to find Belly's parents. He came back just in time for the dance and Eva clapped as she looked at him. The boys took their places and the music started as everyone cheered.

      Jeremiah smiled and pointed at Eva as he danced and she squealed in applause. Jonathan and Louis also encouraged the others by clapping their hands. At one point, the boys clapped their hands on their butts and wiggled them around, making everyone scream.

"Whooh!" Eva yelled as Jeremiah winked at her.

      The boys finished their dance and during the final break, Jeremiah's smile seemed to fade. The music stopped and Eva ran up to him to jump into his arms.

"You were amazing." she said and kissed him.

"Thanks. Uh, I just have something to do, okay? I won't be long."

"Do you want me to come with you?" she suggested.

"Only if you want to." he replied.

"I want to." she assured.

      He took her hand and led her to their parents' table who were gone talking with other people. He discreetly grabbed his mom's phone and put it in his pocket.

"What you doing?" Eva asked.

"Just come with me."
