Bad was definitely an understatement for how Yoongi felt.

He felt like guilt was slowly eating him up, as if all his feelings were slowly eating him up.

He was hurt, guilty, in pain, lost and madly in love.

He couldn't get that image of Jimin looking at him with so much pain in his eyes out of his head which made it only worse, every time he'd close his eyes he'd see Jimin standing there, his eyes puffy, red and yet so dark that Yoongi could see his own desperate self in the younger ones pupils.

All he wanted to do in that moment was hold Jimin in his arms and hear his beating heart before he'd let go forever.

The only thing Yoongi could remember was how Jimin ran away and took everything with him, Yoongi's best side, Yoongi's smile and Yoongi's heart.

Jimin was one of the only ones who finally had made it possible to break down the thick walls around Yoongi's heart, the ones he had made to keep his heart safe, to keep himself from getting hurt.

Yoongi was so in love with Jimin that he forgot to love himself, that he forgot to keep at least a little of his best side for himself.

He gave everything to Jimin, not thinking about that he'd be left alone without anything as soon as Jimin left.

Giving a person everything is the thing you should never do.

You can't let an only person be the cause of your euphoria.

Because what happens if the person leaves? Right, they take everything with them, including your happiness, leaving you where you were at the start; unhappy, left alone, depressed, sad.

You need to start loving and appreciating yourself by yourself, you need to start getting happy by yourself before you can give your happiness to someone else.

Because at the end, when everyone leaves, we stay alone with ourselves, the ones we should truly love.
