57 | Kiss 'em

— Weekend
It had been a few days since he confessed his feelings to me and I still haven't said anything about it yet but all we've done since then was make out—everywhere. The girls or Reality had no idea what was going on between us and I wasn't ready to say anything yet.
Surprisingly, the past few days have been comfortable with him. I had thought the confession and the make-out session we had in his apartment; which was thankfully interrupted and stopped from turning into something more by a phone call, would make things more awkward than it already was between us but all it did was break the ice.
The past few days turned me into a teenager who just got her first boyfriend and the amount of times I got caught giggling while staring at my phone by the girls probably made them suspicious of me. I tried not to grin like a moron while reading his messages but I couldn't help myself. It was even more surprising that he was more talkative than I had expected, so much that we didn't go an hour without exchanging messages.
We were outside my apartment, in front of the door while the girls and Reality were inside. He had texted me to come outside and I had to sneak out of my own home to avoid the girls asking questions. Immediately I stepped outside, he pressed my back against the door and chewed on my lips like he had been starving for ages.
With my back arched, fingers gripping his hair, and legs wrapped around his waist, my back touched the door as the kiss intensified into a messy one, Not caring we were outside the door. "I thought you were sick and you couldn't get up yourself," I managed to let out in between the kiss.
"What we're doing right now requires a different type of strength," He responded as his hands moved under my skirt to grab a handful of the soft butt cheeks pulling me closer I wrapped one leg around his waist, pulling him even closer.
"Mr Kim," I let out as I felt him sucking on one part of my neck.
"What have I said about calling me Mr Kim?" He scolded as moved up and bit my bottom lip. The amount of times he had corrected me and wanted me to call him his actual name was uncountable but I didn't exactly feel comfortable calling him Tae. He could stuff his tongue into my mouth and grab my ass but I still haven't felt comfortable enough to call him that. In one word, I was shy.
"I have to go back in now or the girls will notice I'm not in," I changed the subject while he was pecking my cheeks. "They can't leave you alone for a second?" He complained, still leaving cute pecks all over my face.
"Well... Your daughter would be the first one to notice I'm not in," I said and let my leg down his waist and gently pushed him to create some space between us. "Plus, you know I have a party to attend tonight. I need to start getting ready." I added.
"What if I drive you? We can—be alone," He moved closer to me and whispered the last part. He surely knew how to make a girl weak in her knees. I gulped as I tried to summon all my willpower to restrain myself from caving into the temptation of starting another make-out session and torturing myself with the sexual tension between us.
"The girls would be suspicious and start asking questions and what about your daughter?" I said, earning a groan from him. "Okay, I'll go." He finally gave in, placing one last kiss on my lips and giving my ass a soft squeeze before walking towards the elevator.
I stood still and watched as he got into the elevator. We both maintained eye contact before the elevator door completely closed. "Nhhnng nnghhg," I let out muffled gibberish, covering my mouth with my hands as I repeatedly jumped, trying to relive the sweet moments once again in my head. I felt a warm glow rise into my face and somehow, I knew my cheeks were pink even though my skin tone was olive. It felt like there was an entire zoo in my stomach and my heart was beating at the speed of light. Unlike before, my heart wasn't beating so fast because I was scared of him.
Taking a deep breath, I calmed myself before unlocking the door and stepping in. "What are you doing outside?" Nova said as soon as I stepped into the great room. It was almost like she knew I went outside and was waiting for me to come back in.
"Err—I was on a phone call with Jake," I lied through my teeth. As if she knew I was lying, she wrapped her arms on her chest, as she took slow steps closer to me, eyeing me suspiciously.
"Are you sure you were on a phone call and not something else? Your lips are swollen and redder than usual. Are you sure Jake was not here?" She let out while wiggling her eyebrows. I almost let out a relief breathe knowing that she wasn't being suspicious of me with the beige man. The girls had always thought Jake and I were in some kind of friend-not friend-relationship even though Jake and I were just friends. Although, I used to have a tiny crush on Jake and surprisingly, he did too.
When I graduated high school and started working at the store, I met Jake and immediately had a crush on him. We were in a Situationship for a while but him not always having time for me and verse versa made us decided to put an end to everything and stay just co-workers.
"Don't we have to get ready for the party?" I tried to change the subject but she wasn't budging and continued to wiggle her eyebrows teasingly. "Wraya! I was looking for you!" Reality yelled from upstairs.
"Honey, I'll be up in second!" I yelled back and tried to escape Nova but she followed me closely, annoyingly poking me as I climbed the stairs. "Stop! Stop! Stop!" I mumbled, trying to slap her hands away.
About two hours later, I was fully dressed and was wearing heavy makeup that one might mistake me as the host of the party. I was in a red satin off-the-shoulder slim-fitted long dress with an opening slit that reached my upper thigh. The bust was designed with sequences while there was a long red fake fur belt attached to the lower back. I paired it with black five-inch heels and the second Artémís bag the beige man had gotten me.
My makeup was over the top as Nova went crazy and applied only silver glitters as the eyeshadow witch I was sure made me visible from a thousand mile—especially at night— and red matte lipstick. Raven gelled my hair up in a high ponytail, letting two curly strands out to frame my face.
"You are going to steal the show from Angela. You look like a total goddess," Raven said as she sprayed some fragrance on me. "Thank you, Raven," I responded.
"She looks so beautiful!!!!" Reality exclaimed as she stood up from the bed and stepped closer to me. "Thank you, sweetheart," I said and pecked her forehead.
"I'm done!" Nova announced as she walked back into my room, fully dressed in a knee-length black dress and her normal makeup while her hair was in loose curls. "You look beautiful, Nova," Reality said to Nova while in my arms.
"Thank you. It's time to leave, Wraya," Nova said, earning a nod from me. "We'll drop Reality at her place in the process," I let out, hoping I would get to show my dress to the beige man.
A few minutes later, we took a few pictures on the terrace and headed down to the nineteenth floor, "Why don't I say hi to the beige man—for the little girl," I whispered to Nova, trying to make it seem like I was going into the apartment for Reality. Without waiting for her response, I stepped out of the opened elevator and towards the second unit with Reality's hands in mine.
Knowing the passcode, I pushed the four numbers and the door unlocked. We stepped in and found the beige man sitting on the sofa with his phone in his hand. His face lit up immediately when we made eye contact, "Daddy, look at how Wraya is dressed," The little girl ran to her dad while she started. "She looks like a Queen." She added, jumping on her dad's legs.
"She does..." Something about the way he talked brought goosebumps to my skin. I gulped and felt my face burning up. However, the makeup didn't make anything visible and I was happy for that but the way my legs were shaking from his stares had me gripping my bag tightly.
"Cactus, go brush your teeth for the night," He said to his daughter but with his eyes still fixated on me. Without the little girl questioning him, she stood up and ran to her room after waving at me.
The moment he heard the door to her room slamming shut, he stood up and stepped closer to me, holding my hands firmly and pulling me towards his room.
