35 | You're delusional but I'm logical

It had been over a month since Wraya and I got on good terms and to be honest, it felt good. It felt AMAZING. Reality would run to Wraya's apartment as soon as she gets back from school and she even asked me to make Wraya pick her up from school but I declined because I didn't want to burden her with the responsibility.
—and it wasn't as if I had anything to do that I won't be able to pick her up from school.
It was late into the night, almost midnight, with Reality sitting beside me in the passenger's seat—yes, she didn't have school the next day. I parked in front of Oniria and waited for Wraya and her friends.
"When will she come out?" Reality asked, impatiently. "Relax, we've only been here for a minute. She will come out." I responded.
"Can't we go in?" She knelt on the chair and peeped her head outside, staring at the building. "No, we can't," I replied. The level of inappropriateness that would be in taking her into the club—I wasn't even sure the securities would let her in—No, they would not.
"Ohh, I see her!" Reality announced. "WRAYA!" She shouted and waved.
After a few seconds, the girls finally got in the backseat. "Hello, Mr Kim." I learned her name was Nova. "Thank you for picking us up, as usual." The other one was named Raven.
"Wraya, I've missed you." Reality said as she turned to face the girls. "What do you mean? You saw me after coming back from school today," Wraya responded. "Yes, but I still missed you."
"Cactus, sit well," I said and fastened her seat belt. I started the car's engine and departed from the club. Ever since the night she got her clothes wet and I happened to come to pick her up, I've made it one of the things I must do—responsibility? Maybe not but I didn't want her riding Uber in the middle of the night.
"Wraya, can you go with me to my friend's birthday party tomorrow?" Reality requested. Didn't you say you didn't like Mono and would never go to his party? I wanted to say that but kept quiet. I knew what she was doing and I'd be lying if I said I didn't want that too.
She was aware of the fact that I had been contemplating being with Mono's mom for her sake. She never liked Heather, Mono's Mom and she was aware of the fact that the woman had always wanted to get with me—not that I knew how her little brain could think of such things—but she knew and there was nothing I could do about it. She wanted Wraya to come with us to Mono's birthday and hopefully get Heather off our backs.
"Of course, she will go. She doesn't have anything to do tomorrow," Nova answered in Wraya's stead. It was obvious that her friends wants us together and knowing that made me feel—different? The churning feeling in my stomach whenever Wraya was around wasn't there anymore instead, I get goosebumps and feel my leg hair standing up.
"But I planned to see Jake and the kids tomorrow," Wraya whispered to Nova but it was loud enough for everyone In the car to hear.
"Jake and his kids can wait," Nova said to Wraya before turning to Reality. "Don't worry, She will go with you to your friend's birthday party," Nova said.
Jake.
Who was that person named Jake? His Kids?
"Yes, I'll go with you." Wraya finally said after seconds of staying quiet.

The night came to an end quicker than I had expected and I got dressed back into my normal clothes. "Do you think he would come to pick you up again tonight?" Nova was talking about the beige man. She said it like I was the only one he picks.
"Pick US up tonight?" I corrected.
"Probably, I mean—he had been doing so for the past month now," Raven chimed in. "He might not come. He must have something better to do than come to pick US up," I said, emphasising 'us'.
"But it's you, Wraya. Of course, he would come. Even If it's storming..." She sang the last part out. I was tired of arguing with them. They were delusional and I was a logical person. They had this belief that he had feelings for me and that was why he was buying me expensive gifts—he only bought one gift for me by the way— he was picking me up at the club anytime I had to dance—he only came a few times.
They didn't know something called bribing existed. The gift and picking me up at the club was nothing but a bribe. He loved his daughter and he wanted me to be nice to her.
"He only gave me one gift..." I mumbled.
"That one gift is enough to suffice for fifty gifts and that one gift gained you more than fifty thousand followers on Moongram," Raven said.
"...Richard's gift was more expensive," I said.
"...But KATLON CEO is a disgusting man. Have you forgotten what he did to you at the dinner the other day? He's rich and all but he crossed all the boundaries. The beige man never did anything that warranted him getting cursed at," Raven responded, earning a sigh from me.
Only if they knew what the beige man did was worst than what the CEO of KATLON did. The beige man pressed a gun on me and threatened to kill my already almost lifeless mom and put a bullet through my head. While Richard violated me.
Both were bad but I could have died in the hands of the beige man.
About two weeks back, I had a plan to have dinner with the CEO of KATLON, Richard Wilson at one of the most luxurious hotels in the city. Of course, I dressed like I was elite, a Hotshot—I was. Something revealing but also modest at the same time. The girls helped me pick out the clothes. I paired it with my Artémís bag to look even more elite than I already did.
"Oh my god, Are you Wraya?" A lady stopped me and questioned. She was dressed in designer and she looked very classy. Looking at her face for a few seconds more, I recognized her to be one of the influencers I followed—the girls followed FOR me on Moongram. "Yes," I replied.
"I'm Angela. It's so nice to meet you out here,"
A fellow influencer—as I was already one of them, asked for my number. I couldn't be happier that important people like her could recognize me.
The CEO of KATLON, Richard Wilson had the entire room cleared and decorated just for me. The act made my heart flutter, of course as I was a materialistic person. He acted like a gentleman from the beginning of the night but things started to turn out weirdly when he dropped an over decorated envelope on the table.
He pushed it to my side and I took it and opened it. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as my eyes landed on the Hotel keycard in the overly decorated envelope.
"You want me to stay here tonight?" I asked but he responded with a smile that came off rather creepy to me.
I closed the envelope and put it back on the table. I resumed back at eating slowly as I've learned on YouTube. I almost spat out the food in my mouth when I felt his hands on my knees. I immediately realized the meaning of the Card and his smile.
Not wanting to be rude, I ignored the hand on my knees and continued eating. His hands slid up to my inner thighs slowly uncrossing my legs. I didn't do anything. I kept my cool and tried not to flip the table right after telling him the story of his life.
After a few seconds, his hands finally left my thighs. I let out a relieved breath I hadn't realized I was holding in but I didn't realize I had gotten ahead of myself. Richard came and brought his chair right beside me, sitting down.
"Why are you not touching your wine? Do you not like red wine?" He asked, his voice came out like a whisper.
Now, I've only drank wine once in my life and that was when the girls were getting me prepared for the dinner. They bought different types of alcohol and had me taste them all, choosing the one I liked better.
"I do," I responded and took a small sip. "More," He let out in a commanding tone.
"I can't drink more," I replied with the same commanding tone. I found out that I had low alcohol tolerance and I wasn't going to get drunk in front of a potential pervert—scratch that. I wasn't going to get drunk in front of a big pervert.
He didn't reply to my words and just continue to watch me eat. After what felt like a minute, his hands were back on my thigh. I flinched at the sudden touch but went back to my food. I couldn't wait for the night to be over so I could return to my place.
"It's alright, baby girl. I'm not going to hurt you." He whispered to my ears and moved his hands higher. His hands tug on the black shorts I had under my dress and that was when I decided I couldn't take it anymore.
"Please stop." I didn't want to be rude so I said in a calm tone but he only shoved his hands higher and cupped my sex. At that moment, I realized he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
I yanked his hand away and stood up angrily. "I said STOP!" I yelled. I grabbed my bag and proceeded to walk away but almost fell as I felt dizzy on the second step I took.
He grabbed me before I could hit the ground. "Baby girl , You think you have an option." He said before dragging me towards the elevator. Instantly, I knew he had spiked my wine. That was why he wanted me to drink more. I was still able to think straight because I only took a little sip. If I had drank the entire cup, I wouldn't be able to control my head and my body. My body felt weak and I couldn't fight even if I wanted to.
That was how the night ended.
The next morning, his driver dropped me back at my place and I lied to the girls that he only TRIED but I got away and lodged at the hotel overnight.
I didn't tell the girls because I didn't want their sympathy or their pity. The only way I could move on from what had happened was to keep it quiet.
