Morning

A beeping sound played in my ear and my body felt fucking terrible. "Fuck..." I groaned, as my eyes opened to a hospital room. The only thing running through my mind was what the fuck happened. My eyes scanned the room, falling onto Rachel, sitting next to my bed with a smile.

"You're up..."

She'd cut all her hair off wearing an ugly-ass Pixie cut with bright red lipstick. She looked like a punk clown that'd I'd happily beat up. "What the fuck are you doing here?"

She got up with a bright smile, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Here to tell you, I sent the videos to your boyfriend," she looked around the room, playing with her nails. "Ryan was arrested, so I'm just finishing what he wanted."

I tried swinging at her, but a sharp pain went to my ribs. "You fucking bitch!" I wheezed.

She sat there giggling with a smirk. "That car crash must have been bad, huh? Funny, I've been watching you for the past few days and I've never seen you smile so much..." I slowly pulled my knife out of my back pocket as she talked her whore mouth off. "Maybe you did have hope? Too bad you fucked it up-"

My body hurt. As I lunged at her, cutting her arm, she screamed in pain, backing away from the bed. Her frown slowly formed into a smile. "I'm gonna make you regret that..."

She stormed out of the room, and I laid back, trying to help the pain in my ribs. My heart was beating quicker than I was used to, but Joseph was the only thing important to me. I quickly dug into my pocket, taking my phone out, calling him. It rung for a few seconds before he walked into the room.

"Joseph, I fucked up! I know, but I swear he didn't mean shit to me!"

He just glared at me, ignoring every word that came out of my mouth as he sat on the edge of the bed. "This is the last time I'm ever gonna talk to you."

"Joseph-" I fretted before his low voice, dripping with anger, interrupted me. "So say what you have to say, Alex..."

"I was pissed and I'm sorry! You make me happy, Joseph!" I reached for his hand, but he flinched away. "All that stuff with my mother. I only told you, Joseph, you are the only person who's seen that side of me."

"Joseph, it was a mistake," "A stupid fucking mistake. I'm sorry!"

"I let you in my home Alex, I had sex with you," With every word, his voice became more aggressive. "I trusted you!"

"How can I fix this? Just tell me and I'll do it!"

He got up, heading for the door. "Alex I'm done."

Every inch of me hurt as I jolted out of bed, grabbing his arm. "Joseph, you're the best thing that's happened to me! Please, let's just talk this out."

He stared at me in disbelief.  "You sound just like Sebastian..."

My grip got stronger and my only goal was to get him to forgive me. "I'm nothing like that dickhead. I fucked up, but I'm not gonna back down till we're okay."

"Alex, let go of me..."

"No! So that blonde dickhead can come in and steal you away from me?"

"He didn't steal anything."

"So what? you just fuck him? Is that what you're saying? DID YOU FUCK HIM JOSEPH?"

"No! It was just a kiss, then we went to sleep."

My chest hurt hearing that. "You slept with him?"

His frown softened, and his voice softened with it. "No, we didn't have sex or anything like that, Alex."

"But you let him kiss you?"

"Alex, why are you turning this on me?"

"I'm not! It fucking hurts me Joseph," "It pisses me off that you let another guy touch you! You promised me you would stay by my side, that you didn't want anyone but me!"

"That was before you told me I'd be stupid to think you'd wanna be with me, before you told me You could see why he cheated on me. BEFORE I FOUND OUT YOU CHEATED ON ME ALEX!"

Pretty sure the whole hospital could hear him. It was the first time I'd ever seen him this pissed. She was right. He feels like a different person when he's mad.

"I'm not giving up on you. I'll kill someone for you, Joseph. So if it takes me weeks and months to get you back, then it's worth it! Because I'm IN LOVE WITH YOU JOSEPH!" I shouted, as a shot of pain hit my ribs.

He forced me down on the bed. "Alex, just calm down. You're hurt."

"Joseph, I'm not fucking backing down."

I tried getting up, but he forced me back down. "I know you aren't, but I want you to be okay."

He still cares about me, even after what I did. After I fucked up everything I'd built up these past few days. "I'll be okay if you sit..." I growled, pulling him to the bed. "And here me out!"

The expression on his face was serious and threatening, but it didn't last long before he took a breath. "Talk, Alex."

I didn't even notice the bags around his eyes. I caused that... "Joseph, whatever I said last night," "it wasn't me."

He looked at me in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"The reason I was going to you in the first place was because I hear my father in my head."

"Wait... Wait... What do you mean, hear?" he asked, massaging his head.

"He tells me what to say, but ever since I've been with you, I haven't heard him..."

"What does he tell you to say?"

"Advice."

He scoffed in anger. "What kind of advice, Alex?"

"What to say to people! How to get what I want!" I blurted out.

His face turned to anger, and I knew I fucked up. "Is that what you did with me?"

I couldn't look at him as I answered his question. "Yes... But you were different, Joseph. You're not like any guy I've met."

Tears ran down his face, and I regretted everything I said. "My Mother was right. You saw I was vulnerable and took advantage of it!"

I sat up in bed, feeling a sharp pain in my body. "Joseph no! I want you! I wanna be with you! Everything we've had for the past few days has been real!" I stressed, grabbing his hand.

He cried, shoving my hand away. "I need time away from you Alex." I tried grabbing him again, but he shoved me off with a strength I'd never gotten from him. "JUST STOP ALEX!"

"Joseph I'm sorry!" I wept as he walked out.
