Morning
My mother came into my room with a garbage bag, scooping up beer bottles and plates while I scrolled through Joseph's social media, gazing at images of him and that boyfriend of his. "Everything alright?" She whispered, avoiding eye contact.
He just left me... not even a goodbye. I couldn't force myself to respond to his message because I knew he had sex with him last night... My rage built as my imagination of him touching and kissing him went wild.
"What do you do when you want someone, but they have someone else?" I growled, clenching my fist.
She put the bag down sitting next to me. "You keep fighting for them. Did you know I had to fight for your father?"
"Really?"
"Yeah... He had a wife at the time. She was a real bitch..." she giggled. Never heard her say bitch before. That's actually kind of eye-opening in a funny way.
"What did you do?"
"It was like playing chess. Just say the right thing and time your actions."
"I'll keep that in mind." Maybe she's where I get my ways from. My eyes focused on the time. "Shit! I gotta go!" I rushed, grabbing my phone.
...
Like playing chess kept running through my head as I stopped at the red light. I mean, I never played that boring-ass game, but I do get the saying... "Make him work for your forgiveness," the whisper demanded. The light turned green, and I drove off. Already had that in mind. You get more useless and useless every time you say something, you know that?
There was a silence, and all I could hear were cars and sirens in the distance as the building came into view. My phone rang and the name that popped up put a smile on my face. It was Joseph. My finger went to the green icon until I thought about what my ma said. Time your actions... maybe I won't answer...
The sky was dreary, and the wind whipped through my hair as I stepped out of my car. I could see that bitch scrolling on her phone as if her life depended on it, but the awful chemical-like smell stole my attention. "Go on up," She groaned. "And one more thing... Please don't hurt his feelings" so maybe she's not a dumb bitch... good to know.
"I won't," I quipped, heading into the elevator and pressing the button.
"Looks like you have support," the whisper praised. I don't know about support. More like a girl trying to protect her friend... "Use that to your advantage" good idea, maybe you aren't completely useless...
The elevator dinged, and I walked out. His office door was cracked open and a very familiar voice started talking... is that Felix? "See you next time, Felix!" Joseph chirped.
He closed the door behind him and our eyes met. He'd dyed his long hair platinum, and he had the biggest smile on his face, like we were fucking friends.
"Alex, what are you doing here?"
His eyes went to my chest and down my black jeans. "Therapy dipshit."
Moving his hair out of his face, he sighed. "Still an asshole. That shit you pulled on Rachel was low, even for you."
"Not my fault. She lets guys run through her, but what the fuck are you doing here?"
"Trying to get sober..." He thinks we're friends or something? A fucking snitch is what he is...
A vortex of anger swirled inside me and I grabbed his shirt with a force, pinning him against the wall. "Don't think for a second I forgot the bullshit you pulled into the club. If it weren't for Ryan, you'd be dead in some landfill!"
"Alex?" somebody said from behind me. It was Pete... of course, the bitch boy has to be here to see this...
"Tell him about this and I'll cut you... got it?" All he could do was nod, his eyes filled with fear. "Good, now both of you fuck out my presence!" I growled, shoving Felix off the wall.
They both scurried away as I walked into his office, shutting the door behind me. The breath left my mouth as my eyes tangled themselves in his sexy presence. Wearing this navy blue suit with a beige, red, and matching blue tie, my imagination ran wild thinking about him. Fucking him right on that desk he was sitting on, pulling his tie so I could taste that sweet mouth of his.
"Alex, welcome back..." He grumbled, writing some stuff down. My daydreaming was quickly cut off, and I winked at him, sitting in the seat. "How was your day?" He added, putting his notes down.
"After last night, pretty good..."
There was a hint of red on his cheeks as he cleared his throat. "Last session, we were on your boyfriend cheating on you."
"Joseph, come on... you just gonna ignore what happened?"
"Alex, you're a patient," He said sternly, going to his notes. He's gonna play like that, huh?
"Fine, I'll leave this bullshit then..." I got up, heading for the door, but he quickly stopped me, grabbing my wrist.
"Can we just forget last night, please?" His eyes were puffy and red. It looked like he was crying for hours. Hadn't even noticed that...
"Joseph, what happened?"
His voice was faint and low, and his eyes were glassy. "I'm fine... I just want to know you're okay. I'm sorry I left you there. "
My heart ached to hear him say those words. He gave a fuck how I felt. Seeing his smile was all I wanted at the moment. My feelings were growing with every second, and all I wanted to do was kiss his soft lips again, like back in the car. "Joseph, talk to me..."
A tear streamed down his cheek, and my lips pressed against his. He tasted like strawberries, and I only wanted more of it. "Alex, I can't-" he choked out, but I just pushed my tongue down his throat, getting more and more aggressive as I picked him up, sitting him on top of his desk. Every grunt that escaped his mouth made me even more desperate for him. "Alex, we're in my office..." He moaned out as I bit and sucked around his neck. I wanted every dickhead to know he was my fucking property. That the only guy his heart belonged to was me.
"You want me to stop?" I whispered, giving his neck a small kiss.
"Alex, I can't do thi—" I cut him off, grazing his facial hair with my thumb.
"Joseph, I'm not backing down. So if you think I'm gonna let that piece of shit have you..." I trailed, kissing his jaw. "You're fucking wrong." The thoughts of what I'd do to him just explored my head endlessly. He was perfect in my eyes. His watch went off, beeping over and over. "Leave, make him want more," the whisper said.
I gave him one last kiss, rubbing his hand. "You know where to find me..."
