"good morning, boys." she greeted, a small smile on her face as she slipped off of ned's back.

"guess who got the lego death star set." ned said, a proud smile on his face.

"no way! you got it?!" she exclaimed, her eyebrows raised.

in response, ned held up a lego figurine of emperor palpatine. "i got it."

"that's awesome." stevie said.

"hey, stevie. where's don?" peter then asked, turning to towards her with raised eyebrows.

"i'm pretty sure he's waiting for me at my locker." stevie answered.

"oh, okay." the spiderling mumbled as he closed his locker.

"i'm gonna go, okay? i'll see you guys later." stevie told the boys, earning nods from them.

the carpenter girl made her way to her locker, waving to a few people as she did so. she smiled when she saw a certain long haired boy leaning on her locker, looking down at his phone. she pulled his phone out his hands, making him look at her with raised eyebrows. he relaxed when he realized that it was just stevie, rolling his eyes.

"i thought you were flash." donnie mumbled, snatching his phone out of the girl's hand.

"he's still bothering you?" stevie questioned as he got off her locker.

"yep." donnie nodded, watching as stevie put her combination in. "if he keeps doing it, i'm gonna put a dent in his stupid little porsche."

"woah, there." stevie said, her eyebrows raised. "just ignored him, don. he bothers everyone - especially peter. and if he keeps going. . . just knee him in the balls."

"why can't you just, you know, web him to the flag pole out front and give him a patriot wedgie?" donnie asked, stuffing his phone into his pocket.

stevie looked around to make sure wasn't paying attention, "because as a vigilante who is all ready having a hard time getting people to trust her, doing a patriot wedgie to a random kid wouldn't really get people on my side."

"what? people love you." donnie said.

"most people love me." stevie corrected. "but either way, i don't need people turning on me."

"fine." donnie huffed. "i guess i'll just knee him in the balls."

"atta boy."

a loud shrill appeared from above them, making the curly haired jump. her eyes screwed shut as her ears started to ring from the sudden noise. no matter how long she's had her heightened abilities, that bell will forever annoy her. she really needed to figure out a way to deal with it because she was so close to pulling it off the wall.

"i hate that bell." she grumbled.

"yeah, i know." donnie nodded, wrapping his arms around her shoulders. "you've been saying it every day since school started.

"like, why did they have to put it over my locker?" she questioned as donnie dragged her to her class.

"i don't think they knew that this was gonna be your locker." donnie then answered, tilting his head slightly.

"it's just so stupid and so loud for no reason."

"it's only loud to you because of your heightened senses."

stevie continued to mutter things from under her breath, silently cursing the bell out for being so loud. all donnie could do was laugh at her grumpiness, so used to her doing this.

stevie was sat on the stage between the two tables. the one on her right held charles murphy and ned, while the one on her left held abe brown and cindy moon. they were practicing for the academic decathlon nationals, that were approaching a lot faster than stevie had hoped. because of how fast it was approaching, practices had became more frequent, liz setting meetings up whenever she could. stevie understood why though, wanting to win the trophy this year. stevie wasn't sat at the tables because she was answering almost every question correctly and mr.harrington wanted everyone else to have a chance in participating.

charles was quick to ring the bell that was in front of him on the table, "hydrogen's the lightest." he quickly informed, making stevie furrow her eyebrows from her spot on the stage floor. "that's not the question. okay. yeah."

abe was the next one to ring his bell, "uranium."

"that is correct. thank you, abraham." liz praised with a smile, resulting in abe doing a silent yes to himself. "open your books to page 10."

stevie nodded to herself, grabbing her bag from the floor below her as she looked up. her eyebrows shot up when she saw peter talking to mr.harrington about something. from the look on mr.harrington's face, she could tell that whatever peter was asking him to do wasn't gonna be good for the team. stevie shook her head, coming to the conclusion that peter was quitting the team, just like he did with band and robotics. but just to make sure her assumption was right, she used her enhanced hearing to listen in.

"peter, it's nationals. is there no way you could take one weekend off?" mr.harrington questioned.

"i can't go to washington because of mr.stark needs me, then i have to make sure i'm here." peter explained, which made stevie roll her eyes.

"you've never even been in the same room as tony stark." flash told peter, purposely raising his voice so that he could gain everyone's attention.

stevie glared at the boy, hating how he thinks that he was better than everyone else because his family has money. she hated how he teased donnie and peter, even though the latter doesn't let the thompson boy's words affect him. of course stevie stands up for the both of them, and she even intimidates flash, but that doesn't stop him from making stupid comments every chance he gets.

"wait. what's happening?" cindy asked.

"peter's not going to washington." sally avril answered from her spot on the floor. she was laying on her stomach with her books sprawled out in front of her. she didn't sound surprised, which stevie understood.

"no. no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no." cindy mumbled as she frantically shook her head.

abe rung the bell again, "why not?"

"really? right before nationals?" liz quizzed, a disappointed look on her face as she looked at peter.

"he already quit marching band and robotics lab." mj decided to inform everyone from her spot against the wall. this made them all look at her with furrowed eyebrows. stevie felt a way of jealousy wash over her, wondering why the girl had known that. "i'm not obsessed with him, just very observant."

stevie leaned forward slightly to get a better look at mj, her cheeks heating up when the both of them made eye contact. what she didn't expect was to get a little smile from the jones girl. she smiled back before she turned her attention back to liz, who was looking at flash.

"flash, you're in for peter." she tells him, making stevie groan slightly. that meant that she would have to sit next to him during practices.

"oof, i don't know. i gotta check my caldender first. i got a hot date with black widow coming up." flash commented, making stevie roll her eyes.

abe rings the bell once again, making stevie look at him. "that is false."

"are you sure it's with black widow and not with your right hand?" stevie then asked, watching as flash turned to glare at her. she sent him a wink while a smile formed on her face.

"what'd i tell you about using the bell for comedic purposes?" mr.harrington asked abe, his eyebrows raised slightly.

stevie watched as peter turned around to face the clock, his fingers tapping anxiously along the table he was sitting at. that's something that he picked up a few weeks ago, trying to contain his excitement to the best ability. stevie get why he was dropping everything, but she still hated the fact that he was just throwing his social life away. it had been two months since he had gotten the "stark internship" and neither tony stark or happy hogan had called him back. stevie just thought that he was forcing everything to happen too quickly. but there was nothing she could do about it.

she smiled slightly, checking her wrists to make sure that she was wearing her web shooters. she then checked to make sure that her door was closed, and once she saw that it was, she shot her hand out as she pressed the button that was on her palm. a web flung out with a thwip sound, flying across the room before the end of it attached itself onto the cell phone. she then slightly pulled on the web, making her phone start flying towards her. she caught it with ease, placing her book down as she looked at the screen to see who had texted her. she smiled slightly when she realized that it was donnie.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLE๐Ÿข๐Ÿ’œ
i heard peter quit the decathlon team.
is that true?

MY LITTLE VIGILANTE๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ•ธ
yeah, it's true.
all because of the stupid stark internship.

stevie hadn't told donnie that spider-man was actually peter parker. the first reason being because if the watson boy found out that his vigilante crush and the boy that he's been crushing on since middle school was actually the same person, he'd lose his shit. the second reason being that it wasn't her secret to tell. if peter didn't want anyone to know that he was the friendly neighborhood spider-man, then she wasn't gonna tell anyone. in return, the parker boy didn't tell ned that stevie was remnant.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLE๐Ÿข๐Ÿ’œ
that internship is gonna be the death of me.
i'm happy for the guy, don't get it twisted.
it's just that he's throwing everything away for it.

MY LITTLE VIGILANTE๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ•ธ
yeah, no.
i get it, don.

stevie's head snapped up when she heard commotion coming from outside. she felt her phone vibrate in her hand, meaning that donnie had texted her back. she ignored it, closing her eyes so she could focus her hearing on what had gained her attention in the first place. she quickly texted donnie a "hold on" before she threw her phone on her bed and shot up from her desk chair. she quickly pulled her clothes off as she hopped over to where she hid her suit at. she pulled her shirt off, leaving her in her bra. she then basically jumped out of her pants before she jumped into her suit.

"i gotta find a faster way to put this suit on." she mumbled as she quickly did her hair before she pulled her mask on.

she quickly jumped out her window, avoiding the fire escape as she lunged her arm out to shoot a web. she followed the noise to the bank that was across the street from delmar's deli. her stomach growled as she landed on the light post that lit up the street. she could really go for a sandwich from delmar's the man having the best sandwiches in queens. but her attention quickly focused on sight that was going on inside of the bank. it looked like there were four men with masks of the avengers on their faces robbing the bank. peter was also inside, dressed inside his suit fighting the guys. what took the girl by surprise was when captain america picked up some weird device and aimed it at spider-man.

the spiderling jumped towards him, but captain america pressed a button to make a blue energy shoot out of the weapon and surround peter, keeping him frozen in the air. stevie quickly jumped off of the light post and shot a web onto the building that held the bank. she pulled on the web slightly so that she would swing right into the bank. and she did, swinging through the window, glass shattering as she held her feet out. she kicked captain america in the face, making him fall down to the floor with a grunt. this also made spider-man drop to the floor, quickly recovering from what just happened.

"woah! what is that thing?" spider-man questioned, stevie watching as his eyes squinted slightly.

"need some help, spidey?" remnant asked, quickly seeing that captain america was reaching for the weapon he was just holding. she quickly kicked him in the face before she shot her hand out and webbed his hand to the floor.

"i would like some. thank you, remnant." spider-man answered, turning around to face the hulk.

remnant smiled under her mask as she turned around, coming face to face with iron man. "oh, wow! iron man? it's an honor to meet you, sir. i'm a huge fan." she commented as she dodged a punch that was sent her way. "that's no way to treat a fan."

iron man went to go punch her again, but she grabbed the guy's fist. she turned it to the side as she looked at the guy through her mask. she then held up her other hand and reached for the iron man mask, pulling it away from the man's face before she let it go, making it smack against his face. a yell escaped his mouth as the mask landed back on his face. stevie quickly let go of his arm before punched him in the face.

"i thought the whole point of the suit was to protect yourself?" stevie mumbled as she watched the guy stumble back. "you should really update your tech then, mr.stark. cause, uh, i'm a little disappointed."

with that she kicked him back before shooting her hands out quickly, making web after web shoot out and attach itself onto the man. after a few more webs, the guy was stuck to the window, wiggling around to try and get out.

"moving around and resisting will only make it stronger." remnant informed in a sing-song tone.

"all right, guys, let's wrap this up. it's a school night." peter commented as he stuck to the atm machine.

thor quickly went to attack him, but he simply kicked the guy through the window that stevie had busted through. stevie went to look through the window, seeing that thor was recovering. she waited for a few seconds to let the man recover fully, tilting her head once he faced her.

"hi." she waved before jumped up onto the ceiling.

she let her hands stick the ceiling and lunged her legs out so that she would kick thor. she let go of the ceiling as her feet came in contact with the mask, hearing it crack under the pressure. thor went flying back once again, knocked unconscious, as stevie's feet landed on either side of his body.

"damn. that - that looked like it hurt." she mumbled as she shot out a web to keep him in place. "i though the god of thunder was supposed to be super strong. you guys just keep disappointing me."

stevie's spine then went straight as the hairs on the back of her neck shot up. the air around her felt tingly as she turned around. SAVE PETER. MOVE PETER, her senses yelled. she quickly turned around, seeing that the hulk was quickly moving towards another weapon. stevie jumped through the broken window with ease, seeing that peter was fighting captain america - who had somehow gotten out of stevie's webbing. she heard the weapon behind her powering up, making her pull peter towards her just as a purple beam shot from the weapon. hulk quickly lost control of the weapon, being pushed back as the beam shot through the entire bank before it went across the street to delmar's deli.

stevie was the first to shoot up, once again jumping through the broken window and running towards the deli. she jumped through a hole that was in the wall, frantically looking around to see if there was anyone in the store. "mr.delmar! mr.delmar, are you in here?!" she yelled in a panic.

she heard someone coughing through the rubble, making her quickly go towards it and push a huge chunk of the building out of the way. she let out a sigh of relief when she saw that mr.delmar wasn't hurt in any way. she quickly helped him from the ground and led him outside. once she placed him onto a light post so he could rest, she turned back around so that she could get cat, murph, from the burning building. she stopped when she saw peter appear with murph in his hands. stevie then turned to the bank, seeing that only thor and iron man was still at the scene but hulk and captain america had gotten away.

"shit." she hissed, frowning under her mask.

the sound of sirens in the distanced grabbed the attention of both stevie and peter. the parker boy quickly handed murph to mr.delmar. with that the two spiderlings swung away, peter going in a different direction than stevie so that he could go get his book bag. stevie went straight home, landing on the fire escape that was outside her window. she looked around to make sure that no one was around before she climbed through the window and entered her room. she sighed in relief once again when she saw that her door was closed and everything was still in the same place she left it. her mom didn't come in during her time away.

she quickly closed her window as she pulled her mask off. she went over to the hiding spot that was in the corner of her room, gently taking her suit off before she neatly put it in the hole that was in the floor. she quickly placed the floorboards back into their rightful places before she looked around.

"i might as well take a shower." she mumbled, going over to get her phone.

her eyebrows raised when she saw that she had gotten a text from peter, making her open it.

SPIDEY๐Ÿ•ทโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
uh. . . ned found out that i'm spider-man.
i didn't tell him about u, but he kept
asking if i knowwho remnant really is.

REMNANT๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ•ธ
how the hell did he find out?

SPIDEY๐Ÿ•ทโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
he might've saw me climb on my ceiling. . .

REMNANT๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ•ธ
you're an idiot.

SPIDEY๐Ÿ•ทโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
i know. . .

stevie rolled her eyes as she grabbed everything she needed for her shower. she then started to think about ways for her to make it easier to put her suit on. she wastes time by having to take her clothes off, then pull her suit on, then do her hair in a way that will fit into the mask. she'll figure it out someway, some how.

daij speaks!
i struggled to write this chapter. it's the first one that follows the movie, and i didn't know where i wanted stevie to fit in. but i eventually found my way, so here it is. don't worry guys, stevie is still inspired by andrew's spidey. i keep thinking about the fact how stevie and andrew's spidey will react when they meet each other in no way home. i can see it being chaotic and everything. also, even though we're a long way away from it, if u guys have any ideas for the no way home movie can u leave it here please. i'm not too sure if i want to make there be multiple stevies like there are peters, or something else.

should i do that?

but anyway, i hope u guys enjoyed this chapter.
