Chapter 5
𝟓 | 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

Rico threw me in the big office, "Stay in here and don't make any noise unless you want to become a blood bag for everyone in this school." he stated before leaving out.

I ran to the door but obviously I was too late since he closed it shut in my face.

The office was huge and there were big bookshelves and portraits on the wall.

I hurried into the corner as I heard the doorknob jangle.

The black hooded cape man came in and placed his things down on his desk. "Now what am I going to do with you?" he stared at me

"You can let me go."

"No."

"Why am I here?"

He sighs before continuing "The compulsion didn't work, so I can't let you go."

"So what are you going to do to me?" I said crawling backwards to another wall.

"Do you really want to know?" He whispered

I watched as he walked towards me with his red veiny eyes and his fangs revealing. He grabbed onto my legs with so much force to stop me from crawling.

"Wait, No," I yelled

"I'll let you feed on me, just don't kill me please," I whined.

"Hm."

I grabbed his hand and positioned it on my neck. His hands were iced cold which caused me to gasp slightly, he stared me down with curiosity as I made the bold movement.

He pushed me away and walked back to his desk.

"Please, don't kill me." I finally said.

"Just shut up, will you?"

"I will if you let me go."

"I already said No, so don't make me repeat myself again, eh?"

I lowered my head down, I just felt like crying. I was so sad and scared. This was all my fault. I should've of listened and went inside.

He forced my chin up, forcing me to look at him.

"Ew, don't tell me you're about to start crying?" he said disgusted

Silence.

"..You humans are so gullible."

"I want you to register here, in this school," he broke the silence

"And I won't kill you."

His response made me jump up, "stay here? In a vampire school with other vampires?— you may not kill me— anymore. But others will."

"I would be dead within seconds."

His shoes clicked as he walked back over to his desk "Nobody is allowed to touch you," he stated

"Tomorrow morning I'm going to let you go back to the living class so you can pack up all your belongings."

"And I know what games you humans play— so if you even think about running away or hiding, just be ready for the consequences."

"Consequences?—

"As death." his voice got deep

I gulped.

He cleared his throat before speaking again, "Victoria is also your new roommate."

"The one who pulled my hair!?"

The male chuckled under his breath as if I hadn't heard it.

He cleared his throat again, "and if you need anything, just let me know."

I rolled my eyes in irritation.
"anything else that I need to know?"

"I can't stop other vampires from feeding on you, so try to stay in your dorm."

I scrunched my face. "You can stop them from killing me but not from biting me?"

He flashes towards me with his vamp speed, our faces inches apart. "Are you not grateful that i gave you a place to stay?" he stared

Despite the situation, I couldn't help but be taken aback by the man's commanding presence and swift movements. I raised an eyebrow, taking in his stance and demeanor. My voice came out in a tone of challenge.

"Show yourself." I glared

A small, almost imperceptible smirk formed on his lips for a brief moment, as if he found my demand amusing. Without a word, he turned away and walked back to his chair, leaving me in a state of uncertainty and confusion.

"I said show yourself."

Behind his desk as he stood, he tossed the long black Dracula cape aside, revealing his figure to me. He was dressed in a sharp black dress shirt, and his skin was fair but not pale; instead, it held a distinct, almost pure white hue. His arms were adorned with intricate black tattoos, the stark ink standing out against his light skin. I couldn't help but notice his build, as his muscles were clearly defined under the shirt.

I continued to study him, his physical appearance was both mesmerising and intimidating. His jet-black hair was perfectly tousled, giving him a rugged yet handsome look. His lips were full and expressive, while his face was perfect, without a single flaw. But what truly caught my attention were his eyes. They were a deep, almost fathomless black, yet they didn't hold the menacing glare I had come to associate with vampires. Instead, they seemed to hold a depth and intensity that was both captivating and unsettling.

As I continued to take in his appearance, one detail stood out to me: a scar under his eye. Rather than marring his features, however, the mark seemed to enhance his rugged attractiveness, adding character to his otherwise flawless face. On his fingers, he wore several rings, the cold metal contrasting against his pale skin. The rings gleamed in the dim light, their presence further showcasing his confident and composed nature.

It was also clear that he exuded confidence and authority. The way he spoke was measured and deliberate and elegant. his words chosen carefully yet eloquently. Every syllable he uttered seemed to carry a sense of nobility and intelligence, like a man fully aware of his own worth and power. The depth and rich tones of his voice added to his presence, making every word he spoke feel like a powerful, impactful statement.

"Now," he said pulling out his handkerchief and walking towards me.

Reluctantly, I forced myself to expose my neck to the man, wincing slightly at the pain that still remained from earlier. I closed my eyes, bracing myself for the inevitable pain as his fangs sank deep into my skin.

I felt the man's hand, surprisingly gentle, as it touched my neck, taking control of the situation. The pain from the fangs digging into my flesh was intense, but the gentle touch of his hand made me strangely more aware of his presence. I clenched my teeth, trying my best to bear the pain as he continued to suck my blood, each pull causing a sharp pang to run through my body.

My knees involuntarily began to tremble under the strain, weakening with each passing moment. Weakly, I wobbled on my feet, struggling to keep my body upright. Then the man's voice rang out, his tone firm and authoritative. "Stand still," he commanded, emphasizing the need for me to hold my position.

With a low hum of satisfaction, he withdrew his fangs from my neck, the metallic taste of my blood staining his lips. "You taste so good," he said, a hint of satisfaction in his voice, before quickly piercing my skin again with his fangs. I stifled a cry, trying to keep my body under control.

Just as the man seemed to be fully immersed in drinking my blood, a sudden knock on the door broke his concentration. With a hint of annoyance in his voice, he called out, "go away." Yet despite his command, the knocking merely continued, growing more insistent.

"May we continue this later." He wiped his mouth with his handkerchief.

The pain from the prolonged blood loss had weakened me even further, causing my legs to buckle under my weight. I stumbled and fell, but before I could hit the ground, he caught me with incredible speed, his strong arms wrapping around me.

"What Victoria." He said annoyed.

Victoria entered the room, his keen senses allowing him to detect her and other's presence even without seeing them.

with a hint of irritation in his voice, "What do you want?" He nonchalantly placed the handkerchief, which was now stained with my blood, into his pocket as he addressed her.

"The vampires want to know when we could go out and feed again, they are tired of the animal blood," she said

He walked towards Victoria
"...And— Who's asking?" He questioned

Victoria hesitantly responded, "they are—

"Do they understand Victoria, that Washington is on the news and in article's about 'Animal attacks, hmm?"

"I—

"Do they understand that these Animal attacks are going to rat us out Victoria?—

"Sir—

"Shhh." he placed his index finger on his lips.

"Do you understand that they're finding out that these Animal attacks are coverups for us killing them?"

Victoria sighs.

"Looks like you know the answer then!" he says

Victoria was on her way but then his voice rang out. "She's your new roommate." He said

"Aro please No." Victoria said.

The girl obviously didn't want nothing to do with me.

and I don't blame her.

In my weakened state, I mumbled the name "Aro" unconsciously, my voice barely above a whisper. I could sense the man's intense gaze on me, his attention fully focused on my being as he continued to hold me in his arms.

"Please let me stay with you." I muttered again.

Despite my hatred for both Aro and the rest of the vampires in this school, I found myself feeling safe in his presence because he promised not to kill me.

"Stand still." He said letting go of me.

"Victoria, I want you to spread the word that no one is allowed to touch her and hurt her in any way." Aro demanded

"Yes sir."

"Do you have my word?" He glared.

Victoria gulped, "I have your word."

"Very well."
