TRIGGER WARNING ;; MENTIONS OF GUN-SHOOTING, BLOOD, INJURIES,Β  AND INJECTIONS.

...

"We need a plan to save them, and I need ideas: now." Ekko curled his right hand into a fist, stating the statement in a demanding tone and looked around at everyone else around the table.

The Firelight members with him, pondering on a silent moment of thought. Scar raised a hand and cleared his throat, "Ambush? Maybe, we can do an ambush, like: we have some people sneak around the back and some can crash through the window."

Some nodded, others wore some displeased looks on their faces. Ekko merely leaned forward in an anticipation of worry, his frown growing even more and sighed, slowly nodding. "That doesn't seem like a bad idea, Scar. I'll go: Eru, Arin, Writh and Pirem."

A series of some annoyed groans, left some people's lips, possibly from the ones whose names were called out. Ekko hit his fist to the table, silencing the sudden rupture of noise.

"I don't want any complaints. Each Firelight member is important, so if any are in trouble: it is mandatory to rescue them. So, we will go on with this plan to rescue [Name]."

"They seem to be very important to you, Ekko." Someone burst out into that comment, the white-haired boy let out a small grunt in response, not saying anything else.

"Now, the people I've assigned to go on the rescue with me will need to go prepare now, because we will be leaving straight away." The people he had assigned, walked on out in a haste: getting themselves prepared for what was to come.

As everyone else then started leaving the room, Ekko massaged his forehead and smacked his lips together to compose himself of the stress. Scar stayed back behind, his ears drooping slightly in concern for Ekko and placed a hand upon his shoulder.

"Are you alright, Ekko?" The white-haired boy merely flinched, glancing at Scar and hastily nodded.

"Yeah-Yeah, just...worried for them." Muttering this very sentence under his breath, a ghastly frown slipped up even more onto the boy's face and let out a small sigh. His expression was of ever-lasting worry for [Name]. Sure, they would have their quarrels every now and then, but that wouldn't make him disregard them being in danger.

He had failed to save them on time from Jinx. Ekko wasn't going to fail them again. He was sure of it.

...

"C'mon, Sweet Toots! Doesn't this new bomb look awesome?" The pierced enthusiastic voice of Jinx perked up, rattling the bars of the cage [Name] was in to get their full attention.

After the experiments amended onto them, [Name] had been shoved into this cage for almost around an hour and now, Jinx was trying to get their attention, but the [Hair Colour]-haired [boy | girl | person] was too distraught from how they looked now to even care.

Jinx frowned immediately at having no response in return, rattling the bars of the cage even more and gritted her teeth. "C'mon, answer! All the creepy doctor did was make you stronger, that's all."

[Name] turned their back towards Jinx, shuffling about in the cage and crossed their arms. "It's not just that. I just look...hideous now. I look, like a monster."

Jinx tilted her head to the side, blowing a strand of her hair away from her face. "Oh, you think you look too monstrous, blah-blah-blah. That all? Besides, we can both be monsters together, we're practically alike and then, the Boy Saviour can be out of the picture."

[Name] turned to face Jinx and gripped the bars before them, "I am not like you, Powder. And, don't try anything to Ekko or else, I swear I'll--"

"What did you just call me?" Jinx cut [Name] in, her blue eyes pierce with a livid anger from the mention of the long-forgotten name. A series of muttering voices started chattering about in the blue-haired girl's mind, gripping her head in wanting to erase out the memories of being left, everything falling apart from the moment it had happened.

"Shut up. Shut up. Shut up!" Jinx yelled enraged, causing [Name] to shift their mutated body back and widened their eyes.

"Powder--"

"Don't call me that, Toots. Powder fell down a well and died. I'm Jinx." She crossed her arms, placing her bomb away into her pocket and sighed.

"Okay, I'll just call you Jinx then." That was the mere response that was from [Name's] lips, leaning against the bars of the cage. "I'm sorry for calling you Powder."

Jinx pressed her face against the cold ridges of the cage, staring intently at [Name] to see if she could spot an ounce of deceptional lies upon them. "...It's fine, Sweet Toots."

"But, you've got to apologise yourself!" A pointing finger of accusation was pointed towards Jinx, causing her to scrunch her face up in displeasure.

"For what?--"

"For; I don't know..." [Name] respond, tapping their chin in thought, before barging into the cage and glared at Jinx. "For bringing me to this place?!"

The blue-haired girl took a few steps back, blinking slowly in response and let out a small huff, crossing her arms. "Sorry, not sorry." In turn, [Name] started rattling the bars in a pure rage fit. They didn't understand why they felt more aggressive than usual, it must possibly be to do with whatever was injected into them from the experiments.

Certain flashes on back in memories of the experiments in the wretched lab, brought them into more livid rage. They were now bending the bars apart, Jinx bringing her gun out and shot at [Name's] knee.

The Firelight Monster let out a shrill-piercing yell of pain, gripping their knee and their eyes twitched, veins barely popping to show off the monstrosity of injected colours coursing through the beast of a Firelight.

Jinx had only infuriated [Name] more, concealing the pain and started making their way towards her. Dr Singed happened to be walking in to check on his monster experiment, but he dropped his gloves in shock of [Name] being out from the cage and marching towards Jinx, a look of shock overtook his features.

"You fool! What have you done?! I haven't fully mastered how to keep their aggressiveness at bay."

"Me, a fool?" Jinx turned to Dr Singed, pointing the rims of the gun to herself in question of whether he was talking to her or not. A mere frown formed quickly from realising the comment was directed to her. "It's not my fault, that they became a mutated monster or something."

"Just, help me get them back into a different cage." Dr Singed massaged his forehead in annoyance, shifting to the side, but he was sent barged towards the ends of a wall because of [Name's] monstrous strength managing to afflict him away from them.

Jinx proceeded to keep shooting her gun at [Name], wildly laughing at how this chaos was going on. [Name] was in too much of a blinded rage, that had been filled within them, ever since they experimenting.

To make things ever more worse, a ticking sound was heard above from [Name] and, as they glanced up, it was already too late. The ticking sound had gone off, sending [Name] back into a table of bottled liquids. The sudden collision resulted in them screaming in pain from the liquid burning to the gashes of their eye.Β

Clutching their face, they rolled off from the table and lifted it up, sending it flying towards Jinx. As the Monster of a Firelight let go of the side of their face, they felt a deep gash over their eye. That was sure to leave a scar on after.

This managed to only set them off, glancing upwards to see if they could find the culprit or group of culprits of this.

Eru came flying in on his hoverboard, tossing another bomb near [Name], causing them to cough mildly from the smoke bomb being set off. Arin then jumped on top of [Name], trying to wrestle them from the top, but it was a big mistake and ended up with Arin being slam-ducked onto a table. Writh landed on the floor alongside, Pirem and the two sprinted towards [Name], using their crystal-binders to keep them in place.

As [Name] struggled about, a familiar white-haired boy hovered in on his hoverboard. He didn't come on in fast like the others, but rather in a slow way of if he was just mortified of what he was witnessing.

Coming off from the hoverboard, he slowly made his way to the struggling Firelight Beast and frowned even more. He could tell that it was [Name] from their [Eye Colour] eyes, he was never one to admit on how much he had found himself observing [Name]. Ekko could only frown deeply, scrunching up his nose in distaste and horror.

"What did they do to you, Firefly?"
