"THERE'S my little Firecracker! I saw the videos you sent me, young lady. You know I paid good money for the tuition." Tony's voice can be heard from her computerized mirror, a hologram of him working in his laboratory. Aurora sighed through her nose, discreetly rolling her eyes as she couldn't believe that Darcy had actually sent him the video and pictures. The teenager was already prepared for school as she secured her items inside her backpack and made final adjustments to her outfit before getting her motorbike helmet.

"Then maybe you shouldn't have enrolled me in school." She remarked playfully, placing her headphones around her neck while fixing her long hair. Tony grunted at his daughter's wittiness, stopping what he was doing before crossing his arms above the chest. The girl grabbed the mirror, holding it on the desk directly in front of her so that he could see her. "Just saying, you're wasting your money... although it's not like you haven't done that before...."

"Oh, now we're playing that game? Alrighty then, that means you can't visit your mom ever and I want my gift back." Stark declared firmly, a cheeky grin on his face. Aurora managed to disguise her stunned expression, clenching her jaw silently. To her surprise, Tony gifted her a burgundy BMW R1250GS Adventure motorbike. Essentially, an early birthday present but now she didn't have to worry about Darcy taking her anywhere since she also got a driver's license. Although she was still upset with him, she couldn't deny that he still cared about her.

"Look, I said I was sorry about lying to you, Dad! You won okay!" Aurora retorted, biting her inner cheek in frustration. Now it was her turn to smirk, narrowing her eyes slightly to demonstrate that she wasn't clueless. Ever since she started to live with Darcy, he never once called or sent a message to her. "Just like I know you didn't call me just to check what I'm doing... what do you want?"

"...Fine, you got me. Since you've been doing well in school, I'm going to give you some upgrades on your suit. Spidey can have the day off today." He admitted, dramatically raising his hands as if he just gotten caught. She mentally scoffed at his lame reason, knowing that there was more than what he led on.

"Can't you do it another day? I have plans with a friend today." The young Stark retaliated, crossing her arms above the chest. That's when Tony momentarily sidetracked on his project, glancing at her bewilderedly.

"You? Plans? With a friend? You mean someone your age? ...What the hell happened the last few weeks?!" Tony exclaimed half seriously, half sarcastically hoping to get an explanation from her. However, it was partially a lie, she did have a friend which was Levi but there were no plansβ€” rather an excuse she made up.

"Rory, you're going to be late for school!" Darcy's voice could be heard behind the door, Aurora mentally thanked her guardian for interrupting. The woman knocked on the door before opening it, nearly yelping at the hologram of Tony Stark from the computerized mirror. Adjusting her glasses while smiling nervously, waving at the man awkwardly as she cleared her throat, "I-I'm... sorry for interrupting, sir. I didn't know Aurora would be busy."

"Who are you?" His remark made the teenager furrowed her eyebrows confused, glimpsing at Darcy who stood there unsure. Tony, on the other hand, had never seen this woman before in his life, trying to recall but nothing came up.

"Didn't you hire Darcy to be my guardian?" Aurora questioned, pointing at Lewis with a neutral expression. Both girls assumed that the billionaire was the one to hire her, nonetheless, they started to think otherwise. The man narrowed his eyes vaguely, yet shook his head faintly as nothing popped up in his brain.

"No, Happy did that for me," Stark answered nonchalantly, causing the teenager to mutter something quietly. It was loud enough for Tony to hear as they playfully banter between each other. All the while Darcy glanced at the father and daughter duo confounded by their antics but was glad that Aurora had a good relationship with him.

"Don't worry, Mr. Starkβ€” sir, she's in good hands. Come on, hurry up so you can go to school!" Lewis proclaimed the last sentence to the girl, wincing slightly since it was the first time Darcy used a harsh tone on her.

"Gotta go, Dad!" She waved to him, getting up from her seat and taking the mirror in the palm of her hand. He sighed inaudibly, asking FRIDAY for the status report on his invention while uttering some commands to his A.I.

"Alright... bye, kiddo. Behave and remember no boys!" Tony expressed his concern, pointing at his daughter with a firm gaze. Aurora acknowledged his uneasy mannerisms, acting like she had nothing to hide from him. Nevertheless, her guardian held a small smirk, knowing that the girl tried to look like a saint.

"Too lateβ€”!" Darcy announced just as the teenager swiftly ended the call, glaring at the woman. In disbelief that she just did that and now Tony was trying to call her again, groaning internally. Shutting off her device and then stuffed it in her jacket pocket, ignoring her guardian as she walked out of the apartment.

Nearly two weeks have passed since Aurora started and now she has a stack of projects and assignments due eventually. Maybe she overestimated herself that she could handle it, but it was fucking ridiculous that the teachers assigned so much work to be completed. It's like they meticulously planned it since she had upcoming exams on Friday... for four classes. What made it less sufferable was that she at least knew someone for every class. Sometimes Levi or Peter even Michelle but would mostly stick with herself.

She put on her motorbike helmet and placed her backpack in the compartment, steadying herself on it. Revving the engine before driving out of the garage, the route to school would take about twenty minutes. But was determined to make it less than fifteen, cruising through the streets while staying vigilant. An old habit she couldn't get rid of considering her whole life she'll never be considered normal. She managed to get most of the traffic lights green and entered the school parking, finding a spot by the entrance.

"Sweet ride," Levi whistled sharply after Aurora turned off her engine, slipping off her helmet to adjust her hair. Parking beside Warren who drove a silver Mustang GT Fastback which she had to admit was a great choice. She placed the helmet in the compartment before getting off to retrieve her backpack. Pocketing her keys but not after she locked her bike and walked past him towards the school building.

"Thanks, Levi." She briefly thanked him with a tiny nod, holding on to the backpack strap closer as several students passed by her. Although Aurora was technically considered 'popular' due to being friends with him, she still preferred solitude or only a few people she could trust. At least being a loner was better than being a loser.

"Birthday gift?" The boy caught up to her, nudging her shoulder as he indicated to the motorbike. Walking through the hallways, hearing some announcements on the P.A. system that Homecoming was coming up and signups for the Decathlon team would close today. She headed to her locker before their first class, retrieving her history notebook and Chemistry lab reports since she had an experiment with Michelle.

"More like my dad trying to show off that he gives better gifts than my mom." The young Stark shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly, fastening the locker door as now it was Levi's turn to his locker. A short walk towards his, she leaned against the wall full of lockers as a few students greeted them. The girl only nodded her head in acknowledgment not uttering a word to them since she didn't care who they were.

"Ah, parents divorced?" He realized what she was talking about, completely understanding what she was going through. Aurora hesitated to answer considering her parents never actually got married but did go on to be with the ones they love. Subconsciously gripping her mother's necklace as comfort, toying with her hidden dagger between her fingers.

"...Something like that. You?" The girl responded calmly, discreetly observing his body language. That was until she felt her left arm being nudged did that pull her out of a slight daze, strolling to their World History class.

"Two birthdays, two Christmases, and two awkward Thanksgiving. It's not all too bad... get more gifts I guess." Levi joked while a teasing smirk was plastered on his face. While to any normal person, they would assume that he was fine with the ordeal yet his eyes told a different story. Aurora knew that look all too well, he changed the subject effortlessly, "Heard we have a project today."

"Really? Fuck... I'm still working on my Engineering one," She grumbled to him, pinching the bridge of her nose momentarily. To be fair, she wasn't completely lyingβ€” it involved engineering but it wasn't for that class. Warren held the door wide open for her, quietly thanking him to go find their seats. Noticing the whiteboard with a list of assignments due, upcoming quiz, and test they'll have, she already wanted to kill herself.

"Maybe it'll be a partner presentation." The dark-skinned boy attempted to reassure her, giving a small grin as he indicated the seats in the back of the classroom. They had a few minutes to spare until class began, placing her history notebook on the desk as Levi sat beside her. There was an empty seat alongside Aurora and Peter hadn't arrived yet.

Not that she cared or anything she just thought it was strange that he was running late. Ever since their first accidental meeting at the Electronic Shop, they would occasionally talk but they would rather stick with their friends. Although it's stupid with the whole 'popular can't mingle with nerds' bullshit that Peter seemed to believe in. She may be popular due to Levi, she rather be feared or known for her intelligence than be considered a 'pretty face' in school. Their teacher walked in just as the school bell rang, students shuffled to their seats while she prepared for today's agenda.

"Settle down class, today we're starting a new section, the Classical Age. And what no better era to start than Ancient Greeceβ€”." Mrs. Jennings proclaimed to her class, scribbling on the whiteboard instructions for the students. Turns out Levi was right about having a presentation and it just happened to be about Greek Mythology. What's worse is that each group would be assigned a deity.

"S-Sorry for being late!" Peter swung the door open, profusely apologizing to the teacher while some students laughed at him. Aurora rolled her eyes at her classmates' absurd behavior, although what caught her attention was his physics shirt pun. The boy tried to cover his flushed face, he noted a small chuckle escape from her lips.

"Just take a seat, Parker. As I was saying...." He inclined his head, searching for somewhere to sit. There were a few seats around the classroom, the young Stark willingly let him know there was one next to her. Taking a closer glance at his shirt it said, 'The physics is theoretical but the fun is real.'

"I like your shirt. Although it's kinda corny, I like it." Aurora whispered to Peter once he approached her, unaware that his face reddened even more. He never sat next to a girl, especially a pretty one, still, he tried to contain his flustered expression.Β Β

"T-Thanks...." Peter swallowed his nervousness while some students whispered around them. The teacher passed out some papers while explaining the presentation yet her cheerful attitude made the girl sigh boredly. The woman walked around with a small basket with slips of paper as she went row by row starting in the front.

"It's a group presentation of three and the people beside you will be your partners." Mrs. Jennings revealed, earning a mixed response from the class while Levi had a wide smile on his lips. But that also meant Peter would be joining since he's beside Aurora.Β

"Sweet! Guess this will be easy for us. Right, Peter?" Levi discreetly reached over to Parker and nudged his shoulder encouragingly. The action slightly startled Peter, agilely moving his arm which didn't go unnoticed by the ex-HYDRA assassin.

"Just because I grew up there doesn't mean I'm doing all the work," Aurora retorted, glancing over the requirements for the presentation. Most was straightforward therefore wasn't going to be much hassle in finishing itβ€” her problem was she never really had the chance to visit Greece. She could make up lies effortlessly but they would get curious about her backstory if they had the opportunity.

"Never said you would," Warren responded, not long after their teacher stood in front of the trio outstretching the basket. They all glimpsed at each other, debating who would pick one until Levi decided to reach inside to get one.

'Please don't be my mom...' Aurora mentally pleaded, not that she was ashamed or anything. Rather it'll be difficult to explain how she knows everything about her while simultaneously apologizing to her mother in case she did hear her.

"Athena. Nice choice." The middle-aged woman praised them, writing down the deity and their names on her clipboard before leaving.

'Fuck!' The girl groaned in her mind, disguising her frustration with a faint smile that could fool anyone. She turned to Levi to grab the piece of paper, staring at the word written on it as she showed it to Peter. Oblivious by their close proximity, the boy's face turned crimson trying to calm his shaky breath.

Ned's question lingered in his mind about how she smelled. He thought it was weird yet couldn't help but be curious. Peter caught a hint of strawberries using his enhanced senses, pleasantly surprised by the sweet scent. It wasn't overpowering compared to his other female classmates who were practically drenched in perfume. Instead, it was subtle and natural... silently hoping he smelled fine. Now he was just overthinking it, unsure why he suddenly wanted to impress Aurora considering he liked Liz.

"You have the rest of the period to start organizing. This presentation is due on Monday so you have the whole weekend to work on it." The teacher interrupted his thoughts, a sheepish grin appeared on his face. They eventually decided to do what they could, although the hour went by quickly. Last minute, they packed up their stuff and realized that they weren't even close to completing it.

"So, how should we do this? Stay after school or my place?" Levi suggested, glancing at the two with a neutral expression. The boys had Physics class next while Aurora had Trigonometry, luckily the buildings were close to each other. Peter tried to keep his distance but somehow stuck by them, unsure how that happened except he didn't mind. The young Stark comprehended what Levi was trying to do, subtly wanting to show off. She couldn't offer them to go to her place since Darcy would relentlessly tease her and didn't want to risk revealing her identity.

"I won't last another hour if we stay here... and it's just the first class. So your place, I guess. What do you think, Peter?" Aurora glanced over at him with a rare polite grin. The girl was about three inches shorter than them yet no one was fooled by her feminine appearance. He could only nod while having a timid smile, feeling out of place with them.

"Bet, tonight we canβ€”," Warren replied with a wide smirk, however, both Aurora and Peter had other plans... or rather, their alter egos.

"No, I-I uh, have something to do tonight but tomorrow is fine...." Peter respectfully interrupted, rubbing the back of his head. He couldn't tell them it was for the Stark Internship, although Levi already knew since he told everyone in the Decathlon team.

"I agree with Peter. Tomorrow or Saturday." Aurora concurred with him, taking a few long strides before turning around to stop in front of them. Adjusting her backpack slightly, she playfully saluted to the boys, "Gotta go, see you guys later."

"Fine, we can talk about this later. Hasta la vista, Rory." Levi attempted to deepen his voice to sound like Arnold in 'The Terminator'. How ironic considering Clint once called her that until she threatened to kill him in his sleep. But that was years ago after the Avengers rescued her and Barton changed her nickname to Sleep Beauty. The girl chuckled softly as she glanced at Peter briefly to wave goodbye before heading to her class.

"See ya, Aurora," Peter mumbled softly, meekly waving goodbye. Once again, Warren nudged his shoulder as they walked together to Physics.

"So Pete, can you do me a favor?" The dark-skinned boy pulled him close, wrapping his arm around Parker.

"N-No offense, Levi but... we're not c-close or anything," Parker uttered, slightly confused as to why he was even still talking to him. Sure they've known each other back in middle school, but things changed when Levi started being popular. That didn't mean he bullied him or anything, unlike Flash who would use every opportunity to do so.Β

"Come on, if you do I might get Liz to notice you." Warren encouraged him, disclosing the last part to Parker. Peter's expression fell when he realized that he was caught crushing on Liz. The boy fumbled with his words yet his flushed face didn't help his case.

"I-I have no idea whatβ€”." He tried to lie to Levi but the boy could see through him.

"Dude... it's so obvious whenever we have the Decathlon meetings. Look, I just need you to tell Mr. Harrington to not close sign-ups until tonight. I just want Aurora to give it a try. Simple as that." Levi insisted him, it wouldn't hurt to try considering he had nothing to lose. Besides... what could go wrong?

"Sure, I guess I uh, could do that. You think she'll like me if, if I tell her?" Parker asked Levi seriously only for the dark-skinned boy to pat him in a teasing manner.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Parker. But I definitely owe you one, thanks." Levi chuckled softly, giving him a quick fist bump before splitting up to their assigned seats. Time seemed to go excruciatingly slow for Peter, even with a free period after Chemistry. Meanwhile, Aurora felt like going on a murder rampage if school doesn't end soon. Class after class was relentlessly brutal for her even if she had a harder time with HYDRA but this was testing her patience.

Nevertheless, her friends managed to keep her sane and survive until her last class. Just when she was about to make a run to her motorbike, Levi dragged her to the Decathlon meeting. "Come on, I've been asking you for weeks, Rory! Today's the last day to join the Decathlon team. Just go today and that'll be the end of it!"

"Hey, let go! This is abuse!" The young Stark exclaimed, not caring if anyone was watching them in the hallway. He practically kept hold of her wrist and although she could easily use her strength to break free, she had to surrender. Glancing at Michelle who walked up beside Levi, calling out to her and hoping she might do something. "Aren't you going to help me?"

"Nah, I'm good," Michelle remarked, watching the whole thing happen and doing nothing to stop him. Enjoying seeing Aurora look defeated even if it was an act she put on.

"Thanks, Jones. Really appreciate it...." Aurora sarcastically replied, glaring at the girl who completely ignored her. One thing's for sure, she had no idea what to expect and who would be there. On the way there, Levi loosened his grip but still held her in case she wanted to run away. "Fine... it's not like I have something better to do. How long do the meetings usually last?"Β

"Usually an hour, maybe two." The boy simply said, the walk to the meeting was about five minutes to the Academic Hall. He let go once they entered a large room where some students were scattered around, some sitting in pairs or on the ground preparing for today's meeting. A tall pretty girl was chatting with a short blonde while the rest of them noticed the newcomer. Peter was talking with Mr. Harrington as promised before they glanced at the girl. Aurora puts on a polite smile to everyone although she restrains herself from doing a resting bitch face.

"Miss Hunter, glad to see that you could join us. Peter was just telling me that you enjoy Engineering and we're always looking to have more members." Mr. Harrington acknowledged her, clasping his hands together awkwardly before he indicated the girl to take a look around. Michelle went to sit down to read her book, occasionally glimpsing at Aurora.

"Well, I've been told to check it out but I still haven't decided to join." She briefly explained, raising a brow after the teacher mentioned that Peter was the one to advocate for her. The boy turned in the other direction to hide his blush, he could still feel her curious gaze upon him.

"It can be a big commitment but it's not impossible. As you may know, Levi here is part of Journalism and Graphic Designing. A-And Peter, here with Marching Band, Robotics Lab, and now the Stark Internship. And everyone gets to go to Washington, D.C. as a fun trip for Nationals." The coach of the Decathlon team commented with an encouraging smile. Peeking at his wristwatch as it was nearly three P.M. he informed her, "We'll start in a few minutes but don't be afraid to ask me questions."

Levi prompted her to give it a chance, however, her interest peaked in Peter having a Stark Internship. She never once heard of that and Tony wasn't the type to have an intern around him, he was too self-centered for that. Peter was chatting with Ned yet Flash approached her with a flirtatious smirk, "So it's true... you've decided to join the Decathlon team."

"More likeβ€” checking it out. I wouldn't count on it just yet, Flash." She crossed her arms, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly. Two girls approached her with friendly smiles, silently recalling their names. She briskly knew them when Levi tried to invite her to the popular group for lunch. Of course, the former assassin didn't like the mingle as if she needed their approval anyway.

"You must be Aurora, I'm Liz and this is Betty." The taller girl, Liz, outstretched her hand kindly. Liz was about four inches taller than her while Betty was about two inches shorter than Aurora. The young Stark returned the gesture firmly as the blonde did the same yet seemed too sweet for her liking. "We have PE class together, right? Sixth period?"

"Wow, you're likeβ€” really pretty. Is it true that you're Greek or you lived in Greece?" Betty inquired, a bright grin evident on her face. Aurora tried her best to surpass the urge to groan, maintaining a small smile to appear polite to them.

"Thanks. I'm actually half-Greek but I used to live in Athens." To be fair, she wasn't necessarily lying to them. Aurora was a demigoddess and her home planet was Olympus but needed to keep her guard up since she didn't want anyone to find out the truth.

"Well, it'll be nice to have more girls on the team. Especially ones for Engineering." Liz encouraged her before Mr. Harrington mentioned it was time to start the meeting. He reassured Aurora that she could participate if she wanted to while the girl glanced at her surroundings. Peter sat with Ned with an empty seat beside him while Levi seemed to have the rest of the table to himself. Without hesitation, she sat with Warren and observed the whole ordeal of the Decathlon meeting.

Essentially, they practiced how they would do it for Nationals by splitting the group into two. Mostly answering questions and reviewing their textbooks which Levi had to share with her. It did intrigue Aurora that the students weren't actually stupid but they were only book smart, not street smart like her. Nonetheless, the topics were captivating, to say the least, yet her mind lingered on Peter with the Stark Internship. And then what happened earlier that day when he instinctively moved his arm like he had precognition?

After the first hour, everyone took a short break to recharge as Mr. Harrington took her aside. Aurora was unsure why most of them surrounded her as they wanted to listen. It wasn't a big dealβ€” well, in her opinion, but did admit that this would be a great cover story for Tony. He would no longer need to nag her about doing 'normal' teenage things. The man cleared his throat briefly before announcing his verdict, "I reviewed your transcript and I must say, what an impressive background in Engineering, and you're quite the Linguist. I mean... mastering twelve languages is quite an accomplishment."

"Shit, Rory! What else have you been hiding?" Levi hollered in surprise, everyone staring at her wide-eyed at the revelation. Mr. Harrington warned the boy firmly not to use profanity, to which he muttered a quick apology. Peter knew that she was smart but not prodigy-like, Ned could only stare at the girl in awe. Murmuring could be heard throughout the room, completely astonished meanwhile, she was amused by the attention she received.

"Nothing else, really. It's mostly what I learned growing up in Athens. I like to invent things too, I mean... Peter knows what I'm talking about." Aurora innocently responded with a tiny chuckle, somehow, Levi wasn't convinced. The girl could only suspect that Tony contributed to making her seem like a genius, which she is. Whispers arose from the team after hearing her mention Peter who had a vivid blush on his face. Ned tried asking him what she was talking about, Parker stuttered to respond while running his fingers through his hair.

"Alright, settle down everyone. I think the team could really use someone like you. So, what do you say? You're in?" Mr. Harrington intervened to ask Aurora, feigning a pondering look. Obviously not caring about the Decathlon team but as an undercover story. Merely nodding her head, the coach was relieved to hear her response. Gathering some papers, he explained, "Great, I just need an adult to sign some forms and then return them to me. There's also a booklet for you to review."

The meeting lasted for another half hour before everyone was dismissed, and Michelle ditched right after. Aurora still had time before training Spider-Man later, Levi wanted to escort her to the parking lot until he got a text from his Graphic Design Club. He groaned faintly as he bid her farewell, she was now walking alone and sending a quick message to Darcy. She heard two male voices talking in front of her, recognizing it was Peter and Ned. A thought occurred to the young Stark, casually walking up to them and displaying a sweet smile.

"H-Hey, Aurora." Ned greeted, even now slightly nervous around her since the first day of school. Peter did the same with a tiny nod, somewhat confused she went up to them.

"Hi, Ned. Mind if I talk to Peter for a moment?" Aurora inquired kindly, tilting her head to appear friendly. Nevertheless, she didn't let Ned have a chance to answer since she gently grabbed Peter away from his friend. The boys glanced at each other like they were having a telepathic conversation.

"Hey, um... so what did y-you want to talk about?" Peter fumbled a bit with his words, clasping his backpack strap. Once she loosened her grip on his sweater, he seemed to be in a hurry based on his body language or apprehensiveness. Aurora assumed it might be the first option.Β

"Why did you do that?" The girl accidentally raised her voice causing him to wince in response. Sighing inaudibly, finding the right words to rephrase her statement. Her voice unintentionally sounded softer meanwhile she sensed a weird sinking feeling in her stomach. "What I meant was... why did you tell Mr. Harrington about me? Did Levi put you up to this?"

"No, no he didn't. I-I just thought... maybe it'll be cool for you to join. You're prettyβ€” um, p-pretty smart t-that is." Peter stumbled to explain himself, laughing nervously as he massaged the back part of his head. She detected that he was lying because his voice was a bit higher than usual, shifting his weight to the right leg. However, Aurora couldn't help but chuckle softly when he accidentally called her pretty.

"Well, thanks. Sorry if I sounded upset, I just... didn't expect that." Aurora admitted, unsure why she found that sweet even though Levi convinced him to do it. The two teenagers inadvertently stared at each other for a few moments, sensing a small connection between them.Β

"It's f-fine. Why, why didn't you tell anyone that you're Multilingual? Kinda surprised Levi d-didn't know considering... he's your friend." Parker questioned, sheepishly smiling at the girl. He remembers when he found out she's Multilingual, Principal Morita asked him to volunteer to be her school guide. Receiving a short transcript about her and later asked Aurora about it since she has an American Sign Language class.

"I didn't think it was important at the time. Just like you didn't tell me about the Stark Internship." She teased him, a gradual flush creeping up her face. Skeptical of this new emotion she was feelingβ€” perhaps she was sick or something. Now it was Peter's turn to blush faintly, wanting to be anywhere but here. He never really made up a response in case someone was curious about the Stark Internship.

"I-I must have forgotten to mention it. I don't do much... just g-give some coffee to Mr. Stark and stuff." Peter muttered, chuckling softly to ease his nervousness. Cursing himself silently for saying that and she's probably thinking he was an idiot now. Meanwhile, she handed him a slip of paper, folded in the middle so he couldn't see what was written inside.

"Sounds... interesting, I guess. Hereβ€” I forgot to give this to you. Levi told me we could do the presentation on Saturday. Since we're partners after all," Aurora shrugged her shoulder momentarily, effortlessly changing the conversation. "Well, I gotta go. See you later, Parker."

Peter meekly waved goodbye to her, noting that Ned already left since it was getting late. He glanced at his phone at the message he received from Phantom, nearly forgetting that he had training. The boy went to his locker, glancing at his surroundings to check if anyone was around before lifting the locker section with ease. Quickly taking out his suit and webshooters before jogging out of school, pocketing his items inside the backpack. Feeling the crumpled paper as he slowly unraveled it, his eyes widened in surprise.

Inside contained Aurora's number.
