Pandora's screams and yelps were muffled by the rubbery hand that was smacked against her mouth. The girl struggled against their strong grasp. Coughs, groans and vomiting emitted from the library and travelled through Pandora's ears, causing her thick eyebrows furrow and tears to slip down her cheeks and be caught by the black latex hand. 

The mysterious man had dragged the agitated girl up the staircase and into a room. Before she opened her damp eyes, the pressure disappeared from her torso and mouth. Pandora looked around the unfamiliar room with her mouth hanging open. Her wandering orbs landed on a figure sitting at a desk, busying himself with his laptop. 

"Michael?" Pandora quietly croaked to the man. Michael turned around with a sympathetic smile. "What's going on? What's happened to everyone downstairs?"

"Don't worry your elegant mind about those silly little things. What's important is that you're here and safe," Michale reached his calloused hand to brush away the stray tears on Pandora's fair face as he leant closer to the girl. "With me." 

"I don't understand -" Pandora whispered.

"That's fine, I don't expect you to understand at this stage. But for now, why don't you rush to your room and grab your slivery little friend." 

"How do you know about Cain?" Pandora gasped with shock and fear that Cain had gotten out and been killed by one of Ms Venable's henchmen. 

"Like I told you, I know everything." Michael evilly smirked down at the terrified girl. "Brilliant name, by the way, and don't worry, he's perfectly safe. Just where you left him. Now grab him and come back before someone sees you."

Michael urged Pandora to leave his room, and Pandora felt the urge to obey. She rushed to her room as she heard the infamous taps of Ms Venable's cane against the wooden floor as she ascended up the stairs with Ms Mead. 

Once Pandora finally reached her door, she quickly and quietly pushed the heavy door forward and closed it. The brunette closed her eyes as she leaned against the door. A soft hiss travelled to her ear, causing one of her eyes to peel open. She saw Cain still lying on her plush bed. She glided over to him and picked him up, allowing him to wrap himself around her wrist. 

Pandora's ears perked up as a loud bang erupted in the silence. Pandora hesitantly opened her door to go back to Michael's door, but instead was met with an unfamiliar young woman with straight blonde hair clad in a long black dress staring at the brunette. Before Pandora could ask her who she was, she pulled her into a bone-crushing hug. The mystery blonde shoved her face into the crook of Pandora's neck as she basked in the embrace. Pandora carefully hugged the blonde back, still very confused about the entire evening.

"I've missed you, bitch," The blonde whispered as she pulled back from the embrace. 

"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I don't know you," Pandora replied with sadness.

"Oh yeah, right. You've got to come with me, ok? I'm Madison, by the way, we were friends before all of this," Pandora's eyebrows furrowed with confusion as she tried to remember the girl that claimed to be her friend but she could not recognise her. Madison grabbed Pandora's free hand and dragged her down the stairs. Madison glanced down at the snake occupying Pandora's other hand and smiled. "I see you found Cain."

"What?"

"Cain. He was your pet back in the coven, and I brought him back as a sign that we were coming for you," 

"The coven? Who's 'we'?" Pandora quizzed as she looked at the back of Madison's head quizzingly. 

"Your sisters."

also, I forgot to put this in the last chapter but I've called the snake Cain because Cain was an evil soul in the Bible as he murdered his brother and lied about it to God. 

so basically, as the season is pretty religious and carries around a lot of references to Christianity and of course Satanism, I figured that all the new characters I introduce that are connected to Pandora (which is also an evil name) should also have evil names - I know cliche but I thought it was a good idea.
