Those were the last words that ever left Nessa MacKenzie's heart-shaped lips, before they charged headfirst into danger and came into contact with none other than the feared and fatal walking hurricane of wrath and fury that was ASMODEUS, the KING OF DEMONS. The last time Addison had seen his best friend, she was heaving for breath and fighting against the darkness that inevitably enveloped her into a warm embrace.

She'd wanted him to trust her. Trust the plan. Trust the theory. But she still died. The whole team died. And the only reason Addison Walsh survived is simple.

He's a COWARD.

When Addison finally managed to gather his wits and report their losses to Captain Nathanael Kovacs of the SUPERNATURAL SECURITY BUREAU, he was subject to hours upon hours of questioning. They were trying to learn what Nessa's plan was, how it went wrong, what they had discovered about Asmodeus.

He answers all queries. He explains every step of the plan. He tells them everything about Asmodeus, and that the last he'd seen of the Wickedness Demon was its long and serpentine black tail swishing into the darkness of the portal back to HELL.

And the case is closed.

✧ﾟ･: *   IN THE MONTHS FOLLOWING THE AFTERMATH OF ASMODEUS...

Addison grieves the loss of his team and his best friend, sometimes even seeing a therapist to work through everything and just focus on moving on. There is no version of reality where Nessa would want him to cry over her absence. She'd want him to be happy, and he tries. But it's difficult.

So he's getting lost in the days as they blur past. He shuffles from destination to destination, hardly paying attention to the world around him.

Until one day, when Captain Kovacs informs Addison he is now in charge of the very team that had been slaughtered by the Demon King's hand. He very suddenly gets promoted to SERGEANT WALSH and must now conduct interviews of all potential candidates for the SSB's lead investigation team rising yet again from the ashes, HELLBOUND.

Because now it's time to hunt a demon.

RULES:

1. DIVERSE characters exist! This means POC, males, LGBTQ, and disabled people exist. Please don't give me some two-dimensional white female who grew up in the perfect home, that's not who I want to write.

2. YOU can only apply with one or two very detailed characters. The more detailed your application is, the more likely I am to accept your character! I'm not planning to have an extremely large cast but I do want a decent size so if you want two characters, feel free.

3. THE first password is to answer this question: What's your favorite color? The second password is to tag at least two other users who might be interested in applying.

4. CHARACTER death is a real possibility. Do not get upset with me if your character dies or gets cut a bad deal in the story; shit happens, people live and die all the time. I'm not planning on killing anybody but let's be real here, we're going up against some real bad characters.

5. IF your character isn't picked, I'm sorry. I can only accept so many for the plot, though I love reading every application. If you apply now, I'm likely to tag you or contact you for future opportunities in other books of mine, so make sure you apply!

6. ASK any questions inline here.

7. MAKE sure that if your character is actually accepted, you read and comment actively on every chapter, please. I don't want to write this story and have nobody read it! If you don't interact, all I'm saying is your character won't get much from me.
