"I wonder what oma's doing!" She hummed, skipping through the path woods of the forest. Not minding the danger and secrets that rung around the village as she only cared for her visits to her loving grandmother's cottage deep in the woods.

Squirrels faced her way, blinking as to find a red cloak draped over her. Animals around stopped and see her before resuming their activities, surely that red cloak has caught everything's attention in the forest.

Her hand carrying in a basket filled with ingredients for her lovely grandmother's soup; something she has grown deeply accustomed of. The soup made of vegetables and meats, seasoned well by her secret recipe — everything that her grandmother does she adores.

It may just be her that held a deep emotional state for her grandmother, some assume she was out of her mind! Depicted and fared away by the people in the village, (y/n) doesn't like that. Refusing the claims from her mother who told her of the madness her own mother had done. (y/n) claimed that she loved her family, yet her grandmother the most.

"Oma? Grandmaaa~!" She shouted as she neared the wooden home where her grandmother lived in all alone. Holding the basket filled with raw materials, the sun coming close to the dark.

Stepping into the wooden steps, reaching the cottage where the porch stood. Knocking as the breeze of the dusk falls upon the forest and swallowed them into the nights. She looked through the window, knocking as she speaks. "Omaaa~! I got the things you asked me for! I'm coming in!"

She entered herself into the wooden cottage. The dark lit room with no sign of life yet had noises of crippling fire from the fireplace. The eerie atmosphere and quiet place with no answer yet given to her from her lovely grandmother. "Oma?"

The wood under her creaked whenever she took a step; she panted and heard her heart thumping inside her. She held her breathe going further into the house in search of her grandmother. Blinking as sweat slowly drifted down her cheek, gulping her saliva in nerving tension.

Opening the door towards the living room where the crackling fire should be, she spoke wearily. "O-Oma...?" Seeing no one was on the seat where someone usually would be, she blinked in confusion.

A hand-held her back, surprising as she turned to see a werewolf head directly by her face, touching nose to nose with hers. "AHH!" She screamed before a human hand cupped her lips to silence her. "What the hell?!"

The werewolf revealed himself to be a young boy her age who has been wearing a mask all along. The grin plastered by his face along with the cream, white coloured hair that he owns. His golden eyes shining oh so slyly. "Hehe!"

"O— mah goodness gracious! Lord, what were you thinking!?" She huffed in annoyance. Not was she only shook to death to think that the rumoured werewolf was in her grandmother's cottage, but it was that she thought that her grandmother was eaten.

The teenage boy grin, holding the 'werewolf's head' by his armpit, waving to her with a sly gesture. "Good to see you too, dear! Now, what's for dinner?" The red-cloaked female sighed, taking off her hood and placing the basket she held by the nearby table, falling unto the couch.

"Oma's soup. Now Patolli, care to explain what in the world were you doing with that mask?" She fell by the couch, leaning to the seat rest. Her pointy ears visible to his eyes, following again by the pair of earrings as well as her collarbone decorated by a necklace.

Patolli, the said elf, grinned, not like how he used to with the others in the village. "I thought it was hilarious. I'm sorry if it came off terrible. Besides, I have been waiting here for you for quite some time. Your grandmother got a cold and headed off to bed." He pouted, sitting by her side who slumped by her seat, holding her thumping heart.

She stood immediately as soon as she heard her grandmother was unwell and in bed. Worry on her face, she spoke. "Is she alright though? Let me—"

He grabbed her arm, tugging her back with a thumb up from the other hand. A relishing grin that told her not to worry.

"Now, now. I have things under control. I'm sure Oma's doing well. Let's head on and make her the soup for dinner. It should be able to cheer her up!" She blinked by his response, calming down as she knew him for quite some time now. Trusting him is a normal thing she does, and not disturbing a sick old lady is wiser as she cooked dinner for her.

She sighed, falling down by his side once more, closer to him as they gazed to each other's orbs. "I have so many questions in mind. Though, let's not make her wait any longer for dinner." Pulling him up into the kitchen, the lights around them now on and lighting the dusked house.

He grinned, tangling their fingers into a warm hold whilst they travelled across the ordinary cottage. "Ask away, baby!"

"Don't call me thaaaat!"

Patolli and (y/n) has known each other since birth. Being the same age, they had no choice but to be placed in the same place once in a while. Although they were placed in the same area in the village, yet they haven't gotten to talk to each other aside from family gatherings and village meetings.

As elves, they both have to have some sort of cooperating places. Her being a great future housewife sure has caught many's attention. But knowing how she came from an odd family member, her grandmother, she must've been mistakenly taken as a weirdo.

Her grandmother was told to have married a werewolf. She being an elf as well as the werewolf being a human who died from transitions. The child left by was her mother, fallen and taken as a 'disgrace' by the previous head village; forcing her to live away from the other elves.

She was, after all, married to a werewolf. A being whom seeks for pleasant and required delicacy to fulfill their hungers, and with her being married to one just proofs how lunatic her actions were. But ever since then, rumors of more werewolves appear here and there. Being elves doesn't put much worry as they were powerful themselves, it's just quite nerve wrecking when one is back stabbed to fall.

Although now, Licht as the head village of the elves have placed an agreement to not fight against werewolves to create peace. Still nerve wrecking by the thought of it.

Who knows of who and when they come.

Pulling into the kitchen, they both got ready and placed the ingredients nearby the large cauldron for cooking. He watched her move in the kitchen, finding it utterly breathtaking. "So, what is it?"

She glanced at him, watching down the veggies, squinting her eyes in focus."Well, why are you here so early? Don't you have Rhya's weaponry lesson and Vetto's art lesson?" The elf boy blinked, pouting as he followed beside her and how she does things.

"Well...! They gave me a day off. Licht-san offered them tasks to go out off to the woods for some weeks to explore and find more resources." He sighs, smiling by the end. Taking the veggies she washed to clean and cut.

The fourteen-year-old male elf's ears perked as he turned to face the female who pondered. "And you? What got you so late today?" Seeing how the bright jewellery of necklace dangled by her neck, he felt odd jealousy for hidden reasons.

"Is that a necklace, I see? That's new, isn't it?" He swooned by her neck, getting closer while the red cloak placed over her shoulder moved along as she giggled.

She sighs dreamily, stopping the natural mana of water from flowing more. Impressed and pleased of the necklace herself. "My, you're observant! And yes, I got this from my mother. She said it was a gift from someone. Not sure whom it was from."

He blinks, smiling sadly before gleaming. "Hmm, seems like someone have a crush~!"

"Stop it~! It's embarrassing." She nudged his side which he reacted with his fist clenched on the board. Sighing as he mumbled under his breath, "Seems like I got competition..."

Knowing very well that it was his close neighbour's doings, Patolli couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. (y/n) was one of the younger elves fo the village, being the one with granted beauty and particular mana with parents still guiding her. As being an elf with no parents, he was sure to have par against younger elves, though him without any parents might've placed him in the lows.

Since Licht became the leader of the elves, some system changed as well as people's behaviour, in a good way. It's just that since the humans came, seems like werewolves too appeared. Yet were rumoured, all he thought of how it was foolish.

With her ears as sharp as it looked, she turned and face to him. "What was that?" He blinked, locking his golden eyes with (e/c) ones, seeing how it shone brightly by the candles around them.

He sheepishly laughs, "Nothing. Anyways, let's...!"

Her hand followed by his cheeks, stopping him from continuing what he was doing. Their eyes locking once more, with her hands clasped against his skin. Their gaze crossing and molding into a mirroring vision by each other's eyes. She asked, "Was that a confession?"

Silence grew between the two youngsters. A stifled laugh came by him as he closed his eyes while his hand clasped by his mouth.

"A confession? What do you mean by that?" He lightened the silence. As it were known, he kept hiding it, not wanting things to go far worst.

"What you said before... was that a confession?"

The young male elf laughed, his short pony tail bouncing by his movements. "I don't know what you mean, but I sure heard that you were confessed a few days ago~!"

Changing the topic, the female grew flustered from the male's claiming. His words were true and what she thought from before has drifted to something of his topic. "Y-You heard that?!" She blushed.

"Of course! How can I not? He's my neighbor, after all." He restated, continuing his way with the cutting board; listening to all she spoke so embarrassingly, saving himself from his previous situation.

She blinked, blushing as she continued to cut the veggies by his side. "Oh— right... Well, yes. It was awkward you know! Everyone was looking at us!" Remembering the moments and picturing how the elves were looking at her and the boy who confessed, she couldn't help but feel flattered and awkward.

"Hahaha. My, I wish I could see the red face of yours when you blushed." He chuckled with his eyes closed, turning away from her as a frown appeared by his face.

'As if I didn't see that... I was so devious and emulous of him...' He sighed internally. Facing to the she-elf who had a smile painted by her face. She is beautiful.

"Patolli! Pass me the pot there!"

"Sure thing, baby!"

"Stop calling me that!"

'I have held a deep affection for you for years... Yet, you've noticed me just a few months ago... I watched you from afar and knew you were the one.' His eyes observed her from afar, admiring her actions and how she does anything; it's breathtaking.

"The veggies, please!"

"Right!"

'That talent. The way you look, the way who you are as a being. I love it! I love everything about you! Just the way you breath has got me chickening right away as I see you...' He sighed dreamily, thinking of how much she fascinated him. Never have he thought such creature could exist. No filth shall touch her, even humans.

"The meats! Oma loved these so let's share them more for her!"

"Meat... Okay!"

Amber eyes trailed by her features, never bored of how it looked like. 'The way you sway. The way you move! It captures my heart and swoon just by near you. The way your eyes shines so brightly just when you see your liked things; scrunch your nose when you see or smell something you dislike. I know them all!'

His interest could be an obsession.

"Ah!!" She fevered her way by his side, calming the fires to stop mess of the soup from causing any more revokes and mess. "Soup, soup, soup!!!"

"Woah!" He followed, helping her as the cauldron was too large for her to hold. He enveloped her from behind, helping to hold the large cauldron while she tend the fires.

"What were you blanking out about?! The soup, Patolli!" She whined, looking up to him while she calmed the fires. His eyes sparkled by her reaction finding it utterly adorable.

"Sorry!"

'I need to keep you... I need to own you. To be mine...'

A growl appeared by his mind, shutting it up as the female elf blinked by a sudden palm by her waist, surprising her. She dropped the wood, finding his hands clasped while his head by her shoulder and neck.

"Patolli? What are you—!"

"(y/n)." He mumbled, trembling as he leaned his body against hers just as they usually do in sometimes. "I have something to say..." The growl he gave off all of a sudden shook her, worried of him.

"What is it...?" She whispered, seeing how close he gets by her. His breathe fans by her cheeks, shimmering her insides in particularly. It's charming....

"Promise me that you won't look at me differently after I say this..." Her eyes widened as her hammering heart felt unwanted gut that has been eating her internally. Screaming inside as she then tried to speak to him.

"Patolli... Are you a...?"

The door slammed open, surprising the teens. With his hands by her waist and her leaning over the table top — It was clearly a sight to see by the elderly.

"WEE-WOO! Top of the evenin' to ya laddies!! (y/n), you're here!!!" Her grandmother came to the kitchen with a pillow in hand. Her pointy ears shown, yet not-so-aged skin visible to the both youngsters. "What are y'all kids capping about? Seems like you're both ready to get married!"

"Heh!?! Oma? Why are you out off bed all of a sudden?! And no, we are not married we told you!" (y/n) pulled away from the male who sighed in sorrow.

"Cap!" The old lady pointed out, grinning slyly over to the younger male who glared to her knowing that their plan failed because of her. "Oops. Well kids, I'll be up on my bed.*cough*"

The male sighed, knowing how exposed their plan was. The old lady did form a plan as soon as the boy told her what happened in the village. With the lady knowing how in love he was with her granddaughter, she couldn't say no. But things went wrong?

"Oma seems alright... That's glad to know. So, what was it, Pat?"

"Nothing. Just a reminder, don't do anything much tonight! I love you!" He cheered, walking away as he spoke so cheerfully yet has captured her heart. His actions and words were pro-founding and co-existed by his dictionary of words in his life around others. But to her? It's different.

"I-I,, HEY! Cook with me!!"

"I'm helping Oma!!"

"HEY!!"

The elderly woman sighed, hearing how the two younger elves conversed so happily. Quickly to be reminded by how she was back in the days when she was fairly younger and cheerier. Leaning by the door of her room she smiled sadly.

"Lucifero... I remembered how we were back then. It truly feels like deja vu." She spoke to nobody, but in mind she remembered the dark creature similar to a werewolf. "So innocent and yet, in love."

"Never have I known that I have been together with a devil." She smiled. "A human who became a werewolf? Yeah, right. More like a devil all along."

Looking up to her believes and religion, she prayed. "Lord, please keep them away from history to repeat. Patolli is no devil and he won't be possessed as well as her. Keep them safe under your wings and carry them by the right path..."

"Don't let Patolli fall and become a 'werewolf' that could not only danger himself and my granddaughter, but also the future."

Though in the end, he was possessed by a devil. And what happened?
