Finally morning has come. It's the first day of the fourth year for Cassie, Harry, Ron and Hermione too.

One morning at the quiet Gryffindor residence, Hermione while adjusting her red and yellow tie was about to walk towards the exit.

But she was surprised when the door was suddenly opened by a Hufflepuff student.

"Merlin's beard, Cedric! You surprised me." Hermione screamed wide-eyed.

She then saw the Gryffindor dormitory door behind Cedric which was opened by him.

"How did you get in..."

Cedric scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "Sorry, Hermione. Uhm...I'm here to meet my sister..."

Cedric frowned at Hermione. "Is she here?"

Hermione nodded. "Yes. Yes, of course. She's getting ready in her room."

"Okay, I'll wait here. Thankyou, Hermione."

Hermione nodded with a friendly smile and headed out of the Gryffindor house.

For a long time, Cedric waited for his little sister's figure to come down the stairs of the women's room.

A few moments later Cassie finally came down from the stairs. She immediately put on a confused face when she saw the 'Hufflepuff' teenager sitting on the couch in the 'Gryffindor Common Room'.

"Cedric you really come to my dorm..."

"Oh, hi Cassie." Cedric then stood up to his sister. "Yes. You told me how to get in here, right?"

Cassie frowned and shook her head. "How can you still remember what I said three years ago."

Cedric laughed. "I'm not some old geezer, miss."

Cassie shook her head.
"Alright, alright...what do you need here?"

Cedric raised his eyebrows. For a few seconds he was silent.

"Uhm, well....you know about...the Triwizard Tournament..???"

Cassie frowned at her brother with a sinister and suspicious look. "Absolutely."

Cedric smiled crookedly. "I'm coming there!" He said excitedly, "What do you think?"

Cassie sighed already expecting that to be what Cedric would say.

"No. Absolutely no."

Cassie then walked a few steps away from Cedric, but Cedric's call made her step stop again.

"Cassieee!!! Please..."

Cassie turned around. After a while, she then walked quickly towards her brother.

"Cedric, you must have heard and remembered what Dumbledore said last night. If you are chosen, you will stand alone and you will not come back!!!! That is the consequence."

Cedric nodded in understanding.
"I know, butโŽฏ "

"NO, Cedric. I told you, it's risky. You could be in danger or maybe....defy death."

Cedric let out a sad breath. But to persuade his only family who is also at Hogwarts, Cedric tries to persuade the ambitious Cassie again.

"Come here, Lavender." Cedric then pulled his sister's hand to sit on the sofa with him.

Sitting up, Cedric looked at Cassie closely.

"Cass, I know this is dangerous. But, you also know what the reward is, right?"

"Eternal GlorโŽฏ "

"Eternal Glory. That's the prize. I know our family has indeed been successful for centuries. However, Cassie...please. I want to be one of the heirs to our family's glory.." He explained at length.

Cassie was still silent thinking about it. Cedric held the back of his sister's hand.

"Hey, I've done everything you want dozens of times. Isn't it your turn?" He said smiling slightly.

Cassie looked into her brother's beautiful eyes. "But..." Cassie closed her eyes, she exhaled.

She then opened her eyes again. "Okay. But...you have to be careful.."

Cedric nodded smiling. "Thanks, Cassie!"

Cassie nodded. "Anytime, Cedric."

Cassie then stood up from her seat.
"I have to get to class. My friend is waiting for me."

Cedric also stood up from his seat.

"All right. See you!"

"See you."

Cassie is finally now walking with Harry, Ron and Hermione while carrying her textbooks.

"What did your brother say, Cass?" Ron asked.

Cassie shrugged. "He wants to enter the Triwizard Tournament." Cassie snorted. "Even though I told him, the consequences are too dangerous. Am I right?"

Harry smiled crookedly in approval. "Correct."

The Golden Trio and their best friend, Cassie, finally arrived at the classroom. Cassie sat on the bench with Hermione, while Harry and Ron sat on the bench next to Cassie and Hermione.

Hermione took a deep breath as she tossed her books on the table.

"This is crazy, this is crazy, this is crazy!!!!"

Cassie frowned at Hermione. "What's crazy??"

Hermione turned to face Cassie with a look of disbelief. "Mad-Eye Moody will teach us!" She said.

Cassie raised her eyebrows. "Right. That's crazy."

Someone's footsteps seemed to approach Hermione and Cassie's table. "What is crazy?!"

Cassie and Hermione turned at their call. God, looks like Professor Moody overheard them talking about him.

Cassie widened her eyes. "N-no sir! What crazy is Hermione because I think she loves Krum!!!"

Hermione frowned at Cassie sarcastically, but for the sake of lying to the mad Professor, Hermione just nodded.

Before leaving his two students, Alastor Moody seemed to look sideways at the two girls. He then finally left them.

Cassie and Hermione breathed a sigh of relief. "Cassie, why do you have to say.. 'Hermione loves Krum'?!"

"Sssttt!!!! I saved us, you're welcome."

Hermione just glanced at her female best friend. They were finally able to make peace for a moment and pay attention to the Professor in front.

"Alastor Moody." He introduced himself, but in a harsh tone. He then turned around and wrote his Moody's name on the blackboard in chalk. "Ex-Auror. Ministry of Malcontent!"

Before the teacher could turn around Harry took the chance to whisper in Cassie's ear.

"He's crazy."

Cassie frowned awkwardly. "Indeed."

Harry as well as Ron chuckled at their chance of success.

Alastor Moody then turned to face the students again. "And your new Defense Against the Dark Arts class teacher!"

"Im here because Dumbledore asked me." He said with harsh emphasis, his eyes were terrible. "End of story, goodbye THE END."

"Any questions?" he asked but none of the students proposed.

So he continued his crazy speech again. "When it comes to the dark arts, I believe in a practical approach."

"First, which of you can tell me how many Unforgivable Curses there are?"

"Three, sir." Hermione answered.

"And they're so NAMED???!!!" he asked roughly as he wrote something on the blackboard so rude.

"Because they are unforgivable." Hermione answered in a wavering tone as if she was scared.

"The use of any one of themโŽฏ "

Moody cut her off.
"Will earn you a one-way ticket to AZKABAN. CORRECT." She then advanced through gritted evil teeth.

"Now the Ministry says you're too young to see what these curses do. I SAY DIFFERENT! You need to know what you're up against."

"You need to be prepared, you need to be find another place TO PUT YOUR CHEWING GUM BESIDES THE UNDERSIDE OF YOU DESK, MR. FINIGGAN!!!!"

Hearing Alastor Moody shouting his name, Seamus who was sitting in the back looked surprised.

Everyone looked at the boy, Seamus then whispered to his seatmate.

"That old man can see what's in the back of his head."

Hearing the ridicule, Professor Moody who was fierce, threw white chalk at Seamus, making all the students who were passed by the chalk have to bow down.

"And hear acros classroom!" Add Moody. "So, which curse shall we see first?"

Moody walked quickly over to Ron's bench with a sardonic look. "WEASLEY!"

Ron immediately looked up with a stammering answer. "Y-yes, sir..."

"STAND." Ron then stood fearfully before Moody.

"My father once told me one.. The Imperius Curse."

Moody pursed his lips. "Yes yes yes. Your father must know a lot about the curse."

"Gave the Ministry quite a bit of grief a few years ago. Perhaps this will show you why." he whispered sarcastically.

Moody walked over to pick up a tiny spider from his jar. He then put the tiny spider in the palm of his hand.

"Engorgio." The spider grew bigger. "Imperio!" And the spider flew at the direction of Moody's wand.

Moody directed the animal towards the now frightened head of Goyle Slytherin. "Don't worry! Completely harmless."

All the students laughed at that. Moody then pointed it at Ron's forehead who was afraid of spiders.

"If she bites, she's lethal!!! HAHAHAโŽฏ HAHAHA!!!!" Evil laugh.

Realizing the other students were laughing too, Moody aimed his spider at Draco's face.

Draco looked scared trying to get the grinning beast off his face, but he was so scared so he couldn't.

"HAHA, HAHAHA!!!! SHE'S TALENTED." Moody laugh. "What should I do with her next? Jump in the window??"

Moody then threw the poor animal through the window. The laughter of the whole class disappeared.

"Drown herself?" Asked the Professor while almost dunking the spider's entire body in a full bucket of water.

Cassie seemed to open her mouth watching the sadistic thing.

But the Professor finally directed the experimental spider back into his palm.

"Scores of witches and wizards have claimed that they only did You-Know-Who's bidding under the influence of the Imperius Curse!!"

"But here's the rub-
How do we sort out the liars?" he asked all the students.

Several students raised their hands high but hesitated. Until finally Neville Longbottom who was sitting in the front row, raised his finger low.

"Come on, Longbottom is it?" Call him choose that poor boy. Neville rose from his seat.

Moody approached Neville with a sinister face. "Professor Sprout tells me that you have an aptitude for Herbology."

Neville with a scared and doubtful face nodded. "There's the...Cruciatus Curse.."

Professor Moody was wide-eyed at Neville's answer, he was happy and invited Neville to practice it.

"Correct, Correct!! Come here, take a little nasty." Moody then picked up his spider again.

When Neville was close enough, Moody pointed his wand at the hapless spider.

"The torture curse. CRUCIO!!"

Getting one of the unforgivable curse spells by him, the spider's body seemed to be squeezed until its body was almost crushed.

The spider whimpered, its voice filling the ears of all the students including Neville who was now trying to steel himself at the sadistic torment.

Cassie averted her eyes from the scene as well as closed her eyes unable to bear the sight of the torment and groans of pain from a poor little spider.

Hermione who couldn't take it anymore screamed.

"STOP IT! DO YOU NOT REALIZE THAT YOU ARE BOTHERED HER??? STOP IT!!!!"

The professor turned to her with an innocent face. He finally released the Unforgivable Curse spell from the spider's body.

Professor Moody took the animal towards Hermione by the hand. He then placed the animal in front of Cassie and Hermione.

Hermione's face looked like she was about to cry at that moment, it felt like she couldn't bear to see all the Unforgivable Curses anymore.

"Perhaps you can show me the last Unforgivable Curse, Ms. Granger.."

But the optimistic Hermione still shook her head while holding back tears, because she knew what the last Unforgivable Curse was.

It's actually the most Unforgivable Spell of all time.

"No?" asked Moody. He then turned to ask Cassie. "Perhaps you, Ms. Diggory triumphant."

Cassie closed her eyes in pain. She shook her head just like her best friend.

Moody couldn't take it anymore, he took a step back and threw his wand at the spider.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!"

Then it was at that moment when a green dark mark light appeared from the magician's wand, the object it was aimed at died instantly.

Harry who saw the animal killed by You-Know-What's spell felt shocked, sad, scared but determined.

"The killing curse." Alastor Moody continued. "Only one person known to have survived it."

Alastor then looked at Harry with his one evil eye. "And he is here, sitting in this room!"

Moody walked over to Harry and gave The Boy Who Lived a knowing look. Harry didn't return the look for a few moments, but he finally looked up.

Harry met Moody's gaze with his determined kindness to win.

Moody then averted his eyes from Harry and drank a drink from the bottle he always carried with him wherever he went.

Harry winced when he saw the Professor once more drink what he felt was a secret drink.

Moody finally returned to his place and said. "TODAY'S CLASS IS FINISHED!!! See you tomorrow."

All the students got up from their seats. Cassie joined Ron and Harry who had already stood up.

"Look how annoyed Hermione is." she whispered.

Ron then approached Hermione who was still silent staring at one direction. Ron put a hand on her shoulder, "Hermione?

Hermione snorted, then with annoyance she stood up nonchalantly. Ron, Cassie and Harry just glanced at each other then followed Hermione.

"He's totally crazy!! Craziest teacher I've ever known." Cassie said as she walked down the stairs.

Harry responded. "He's been crazy lately. Right, Ron?"

Ron raised his eyebrows in approval. "Indeed he is."

Hermione snorted once more, she turned her head back to face her three friends.

"Did you guys see what Neville looked like at that time?!! God, I feel bad for him!"

Harry noticed that Neville they was talking about was not far ahead of them. Harry poked Hermione's shoulder and pointed at Neville.

Neville was standing looking out the window at the falling raindrops, lost in thought in his solitude.

Cassie asked him. "Neville, are you okay?"

Neville closed his eyes and nodded.
Then suddenly Dean ran from above to the Golden Trio, Cassie and Neville.

"Neville! Mad-Eye Moody invites you to have tea with him upstairs, now." said Dean.

Neville who was limp and not excited even then nodded and left his five friends as well as Dean who left Cassie with the Golden Trio.

Hermione shook her head in wonder. "Poor Neville."

"Let's go to class." Get Cassie.
