𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 shine across her bedroom and onto her face, opening her eyes as she yawned. She stretched her arms out before rolling over, Topper laid there his arms wrapped around the pillow as he was in a deep sleep.

She hadn't told him yet about where she was or who was she with, she didn't plan on it either. Just as she was about to get out of bed she felt an arm wrap around her waist.

"Top, time to get up." She turned around whacking the boy hard in the arm, he let go before she got up and quickly ran to the bathroom. 

She had her shorts and peach tang top alright spread out on the counter, quickly she brushed her teeth before throwing her hair up into a messy bun after getting dressed.

"Where are you off too in such a hurry?" Topper was standing at the bathroom door when she opened it, rubbing his eyes. "No where, I just like to start off my days bright and early." She smiled before giving him a peck on the cheek.

"Your weird Moon." Topper walked into the bathroom before shutting the door behind him.

She laughed before walking down the stairs, Wheezie was making a bowl of cereal while having a suspicious face.

"What did you find out Wheezie?" Moon walked over as she opened the fridge, grabbing the orange juice carton before grabbing a cup.

"Nothing—" Wheezie tried to keep a straight face before laughing, "What?" Moon took a huge sip out of her cup. "John B was talking to Sarah on the boat, he took our scuba gear!" She slightly whispered before Moon covered her sister's mouth.

"Don't tell dad." Moon quickly blurted out, "oh come on he told Sarah not to either, and she agreed with him not too." Wheezie had a mouthful of cereal, "just don't, okay trust me." She tilted her head till Wheezie sighed. "Fine."

"Hey girls!" Ward walked in a coffee mug in his hand, a newspaper in the other. "Hi Dad." Moon smiled before putting the orange juice away, "why don't you girls go outside, it's a beautiful day out." He had a wide smile on his face.

Moon didn't reply but instead nodded her head before making her way to the back door, opening it as she walked down the grass.

She turned her head as she noticed Kelce, Topper and Rafe walking around the corner. Complaining about Agatha, until suddenly she heard them talking about JJ and the pogues.

She ignored it tho as she looked out to the water feeling the sunlight against her skin, she turned her head when a little girl was standing next to her. "I left her in the boat." She had a frown on her face.

Moon crouched down before holding the little girls hand, "you left her in the boat?" She knew who the little girl was talking about. It was her stuffed animal, "Mm-hm."

"Can you tell me what she looks like?" Moon questioned as Sarah was walking over from the dock, "what's wrong?" Sarah asked the younger girl. She pointed to the boat, "I can help." Moon replied staring at Sarah before she smiled and walked off.

"She has a trunk and blue ears." The little girl mumbled, "oh wow, so she's an elephant?" Moon had a surprised tone in her voice. The little girl nodded.

"Alright, I'll get her for you. You don't worry one bit okay! Stay right there." Moon grabbed onto the wood of the broken electrical pole, "be careful of electricity." —"I will." Moon stared down watching each of her steps.

"Hey, there's 14,000 volts in those wires!" A woman yelled. Moon turned around as she had a huge smile on her face, not really caring one bit.

She shrieked when she looked back and knelt over almost falling, "Moon! Be careful please." Topper yelled with his hands cupped over his mouth.

Rafe stood next to him laughing, "Oh, you have got to be kidding me. Moon Wright Cameron, you get down right now!" Rose yelled. Moon just laughed tho at how Rose said her full now.

"Moon this isn't funny, come on." Sarah stood next to the little girl, her hands on her shoulders. "Rose, you gotta calm down. I'm like an athlete I got this!" Moon stared at her feet.

"I don't care if you're like an athlete, you're gonna get electrocuted! —Get down!" Rose screamed, Moon started moving her shoulders up and down in a dancing way.

"You kidding me? You think this is funny, get— oh my..No!" Rose had her hands on her hips before looking over at the boys, "do something?" She mouthed.

"Come on Moon, that's— that's not funny okay." Topper had his hand out as he was slowing walking over, "When I tell your dad about this Moon, you are gonna be in big trouble!" Rose.

Moon slowly reached her arms down to the side of the boat, putting her foot down onto one of the seats. She noticed a stuffed animal, turning her head back with a smile.

"I see her!" She announced, the little girl giggled. She could hear Rose still screaming her name as she climbed more into the boat, "—when I tell your dad—" suddenly Moon gasped as she fell forward and tumbled to the side onto her back.

Topper went running towards the boat, as Moon laid there her eyes closed staring at the bright sky. "Moon! Moon! Moon! " Topper yelled as he slightly ran.

Moon opened her eyes looked over at her boyfriend and swung the wire around with a laugh. Topper closed his mouth bitting the inside of his cheek, Rafe had a straight face while Kelce was taking every chance he got to laugh.

"—it's disconnected, silly." She sat up, "for the love of God." Rose put her sunglasses back on before walking away, Moon tossed the stuffed animal to Sarah who didn't have a happy face, before giving it to the little girl.

"You are such an absolute sucker, Top." Moon was still laughing as she could hardly breathe, "Topper, you should have seen your face." She pointed at him.

"Yeah. Okay, yeah, right I'm sorry that I care for you Moon!" He had his arms up in the air, "—all, right in guilty."

"Congrats, pussy, you're officially her bitch." Rafe placed a hand on his shoulder a firm tone in his voice as Topper still had an angry face while staring at the blonde girl.

Moon sat up on top of the roof brushing her hands off as Topper climbed up and joined her.

"You look a bit unstable there." Moon laughed, "still a bit shook from you." He brushed his knees off. "Look I'm sorry, okay it was funny." She giggled.

"It really wasn't." Topper had a glare on his face causing the blonde girl to stop laughing, turning her gaze away as she did. "Look I'm sorry Moon." he sighed, a frown appearing on his face.

The girl glanced to her right while focusing on the boy as he spoke, "I'm sorry for hurting you, I would never hurt you. Not mentally, and physically I can't believe I even put my hands on you." he had his hand in a fist like shape putting it up to his mouth.

"It's okay." Moon stuttered, she wasn't expecting an apology so soon. She didn't even know what to say to him, "it's not tho, you're my girl. I'm supposed to make you feel safe not feel attacked." He spoke as he rubbed the back of his head.

"It's over okay, it happened. We can move on from it now." Moon shook her head as she leaned over giving him a small peck on the cheek, "I love you Top, okay? That's all that matters right now." She smiled brightly.

"I love you too, Moon." The two looked at one another smiling as they stared at each other.

she reached down picking up a piece of trash before placing it into the red bag she carried under her arm, "I can't believe the way John B talked to me yesterday!" Sarah complained.

Moon stopped in her tracks before looking over, "when did you talk to John B?" She focused her eyes right on her sister, "yesterday, he was saying i'm the reason to him loosing his job." She had her hands placed firmly on her hips.

Topper walked over, "I mean he's a pogue, that's just him showing his true colours for once." Moon side eyed him as she rolled her eyes, "what it's true sweetheart." Topper placed a hand on his girls waist.

"He never stole anything." Moon shrugged as she bent over grabbing another piece of trash off the sand, "How would you know Moon, Wheezie told me she saw him stealing it off the boat the other day." Topper glanced back over at her sister before looking at her again.

"Because I was on the boat." She fiddled with her gloves, "on the boat, wait— what do you mean by that." He paused, "like on the boat with John B, alone?" He pointed his finger as he spoke.

"I was just seeing what he was doing, that's all. I promise." She had a slight smile on her face, Topper seemed to have relaxed as he gave her a soft kiss on the head.

Moon looked over seeing Kelce walking over with a drink, "what is that?" Moon asked. "Oh you'll see." He winked as he handed it to Topper who opened it and smelt it, he made a gag face before taking a sip. "Oh man." Topper winced.

Handing it over to Moon as she took a sip out of it, "what is this?!" Moon swallowed it back quickly before sticking her tounge out in disgust.

"Come on Sarah, let's go." Topper spoke as Moon handed her sister the drink, "what did you do to this?!" Sarah laughed before taking a swig.

"Mhmmm—" Sarah began to groan before suddenly Wheezie took it from her, taking as sip as she did. "Wheez! No." Moons jaw dropped as Sarah took the drink from her.

"Since when do you start drinking?" Sarah asked, "Since today?" Wheezie wiped her mouth off, "What the hell Wheezie?" Moon stood next to her shaking her head as she had a laugh.

"Great going Kelce—" Sarah turned her head, "Yeah great job Kelce." Moon nodded her head.

Moon sat on the side of the bathroom tub as Sarah held Wheezie's hair back, puking into the toilet. "That's what happens, when you drink Wheez." Moon pushed her hair back behind her ears as she watched.

"So what did we learn." Sarah asked, "never mix vodka with crystal light." Wheezie lifted her head before instantly throwing it back down into the toilet, "think again."

"Please guys, don't tell dad." Wheezie looked up focusing on Sarah before turning her head to Moon. "I won't." Moon smiled, "I won't either, on one condition." Sarah smiled.

"What's that?" Wheezie sat back tilting her head, Moon also tilted her head as she was now interested in what Sarah was gonna say now. "You cover for me sneaking out tonight with Moon and Topper?" Moon blinked as she completely forgot about going out with Topper tonight.

"Sarah really?" Moon tilted her head, "what did you forget?" Sarah questioned, Moon shrugged her shoulders and sighed. "Please." Sarah asked, Wheezie sighed as she looked at both her sister.

"Fine." She accepted defeat. "You gotta promise us Wheez." Moon stood up crossing her arms over her chest, "I promise." She held both her hands up with her pinkies out, one for both her sisters to have.

They both reached their hands out wrapping their pinkies around hers before Wheezie threw her head into the toilet again, "oh God." Moon covered her mouth as Sarah pulled her hair back.

Moon watched as Sarah was standing next to the door intensely listening, concerned she decided to walk over before hearing her father yelling at Rafe. Her heart sunk, like it normally does whenever she heard Rafe getting into trouble again.

"What did he do this time?" Moon whispered, Sarah looked over putting her finger over her mouth, "he didn't pay for the back up generators." She whispered.

Moon turned her gaze back over standing as still as she could, also being as quiet as she could so she could listen to what was going on.

"You know that pogue I just fired, way more reliable than you—" "Really?" "Really." Ward spoke firmly, "You need to get it together Rafe, or you can go live on the cut." Rafe began laughing to himself.

Moon was about to take a step forward to say something but Sarah lightly shoved her back, "We can't help him right now, he needs to figure this out himself." Sarah sighed.

All Moon wanted to do her whole life was be there for Rafe whenever she could, she loved her brother and cared for him more than anything. She just never knew what to do with him lately, he's been nothing but trouble the past year.

"Get up and get out of here, I'm sick and tired of even looking at you." "Go make yourself useful somewhere, somehow." Ward grumbled as Rafe got up and walked away.

Rafe walked in forming a smile on his face when he saw his sister Moon, she smiled before he turned around seeing Sarah. "I told you, you shouldn't have bought that motorcycle with the generator money." She had a grin plastered on her face.

Moon shook her head, "Sarah stop." She looked over at Rafe who just hummed before walking off again, she replied with a hum before grabbing a hold of Moons shoulder and turning her to walk with her.

Moon had a beer in her left hand as she wore a light blue bikini top and bottom, moving her hips as she danced with her sister. "Moon how drunk are you!" Sarah laughed copying her sisters moves.

"What— I'm not even close to being drunk." Moon started laughing hysterically, "bullshit, you fucking liar!" Sarah held onto her sisters hand, suddenly Moon felt a hand slide across her lower body before turning her head to see Topper.

"There's my baby." Topper smiled before leaning in and kissing her, she kissed him back letting go of her sisters hand before wrapping her arm around his neck.

"My handsome man." She smiled as she swayed her hips with Toppers hands placed on them, "let's go somewhere love." Topper grabbed her hand as she followed close behind him sipping the rest of her beer before throwing it.

Topper took her up to the roof as he smiled, "what are we doing up here?" Moon tilted her head, she didn't feel safe up there while being drunk. "You'll see."

Topper held his hands up in the air as everyone chanted to him, "what are you doing you're a maniac?" Moon stepped back before Topper grabbed her hand, "come on baby, you're safe with me. " she held his hand tight before standing next to him.

Her name began to get chanted as she smiled and waved, "do you trust me?" Topper looked over. Moon nodded her head. She trusted him she just didn't know if she should in this exact moment, just as she nodded he grabbed her and held her in his arms.

"Omg, Top stop!" She yelled as they were overlooking the pool from the roof, "it's fine Moon, this will be fun!" Topper yelled. "Put me down, please!" She shook in his arms as she held on tight.

He faked beginning to shake as she held onto his neck tighter, "come on, Topper I don't like this!" Moon was more intense in her tone. "Oh come on, you'll be fine."

Suddenly he took a step forward and leaped off the edge, Moon began to scream before hitting the water hard. Suddenly Moon got flashbacks from when she was with the pogues, quickly swimming to the surface as she was about to start swimming to get out the water.

Topper put his arms around her as she turned her body wrapping her legs around his torso, "your crazy Topper." She spoke wrapping her arms around his neck, "I told you." He laughed.

"I love you Top." Moon smiled, "I love you Moon." Top leaned in and gave her a kiss. She kissed him back before pulling away, "can we go somewhere else, my heads throbbing and I don't wanna drink anymore." She questioned, "yeah, we can." He could tell she was already drunk enough.

Topper began helping her out of the pool as she followed him up the stairs to the top balcony where she laid down on a beach chair, Topper pushed one next to her before laying down and wrapping his arm around her.

"Moon Thornton sounds nice." Moon drunkly joked as Topper looked over at her with a smile, "it does sound nice." He smiled, "I'm gonna marry you some day Moon."

Moon smiled as she placed her hand on his chest, "that would be nice." She looked up at the sky until she suddenly felt a pair of lips against her neck, looking over at Topper.

"I love you." He spoke giving her a peck on the cheek, "I love you too Topper." She leaned in as she kissed him, he kissed her back with more force as he traced his hands all over her.

She felt goosebumps on her as she kept kissing him, eventually he pulled back and began kissing her neck area. She couldn't tell if she liked this or not, but that was until she felt him untying her bathing suit top, just as she felt it untie she pulled away a bit.

She knew she didn't wanna do this, she was severely drunk and she'd rather do it when she's sober, "what's wrong?" Topper noticed as she pulled away. "Nothing it's just—" she paused. "I'm drunk Topper." She gulped.

"So?" Topper laughed as he was confused, "you know I've been wanting to do this for a while now." He stated, "I know it's just I don't wanna when I'm terribly drunk, I want to be sober." She gasped when suddenly his hand went over one of her breasts.

"If you loved me, you would let me do this finally." Topper tilted his head before kissing her neck roughly again, "Topper stop!" Moon tried shoving him back as he began reaching his hand down her body.

Eventually she finally shoved him off of her before turning her back to him, she quickly began tying her swim top back up. "Baby please." Topper sat up as he placed a hand on her shoulder, "no, don't touch me please." She felt tears forming in her eyes.

She felt gross now, like disgusted at how he touched her even after saying no. She had never felt that way before, "God, one minute you're all over me and the next you want me off you. Just make up your damn mind already." Topper groaned as he leaned his head back.

"Screw you." Moon stood up before walking away and going down the stairs she saw her sister standing downstairs, "Sarah." Her voice saddened as she still had tears in her eyes, "what happened." Sarah was clearly drunk still as she hobbled when reaching her hands to Moons face.

"Topper—" she cried, "My God not again. Did he touch you?" She questioned, "Mhm." Moon stared at the ground, "Ugh." She rolled her eyes, "go find Rafe okay." She reassured her.

"Rafe's here?!" She looked around excited, "Yes he is." She patted her sister on the back watching as Moon walked off to find him.

"Rafe." Moons voice cracked as she still had tears in her eyes, looking for her brother as her vision was cloudy. She still her just her bikini on, suddenly she saw her brother at a table.

He grabbed some money before looking over instantly standing up, "Moon!" Rafe looked around seeing as his sister was just walking around with barely any clothes on.

He had just finished snorting a line as he still had powder on his nose, "what happened, why are you crying? Who do I have to kill?" He wiped his nose off, "Top he— he." She struggled to talk as Rafe wiped the tears from his sisters eyes.

"Okay easy now." He smiled as he took deep breaths watching as Moon copied, "it's nothing, I should just go back and talk to him." She took one last deep breath, "you sure?" Rafe asked, "—I mean what did he do?" He questioned.

"I'll tell you later okay?" Moon waved before turning around.

She started thinking about what she was gonna say to Topper, "I'm sorry Topper, I'm ready now?" Moon mumbled to herself as she walked up the stairs just as she turned around the corner she heard some soft groaning sounds.

She peeked her head around the corner when she saw Topper kissing making out with a girl before kissing down her neck, she felt her heart drop down into her gut.

Her heart was really gone when she realized the girl was non other than her own sister, "Moon—" Topper looked up as he shoved Sarah away. Tears formed in her vision as her heart was racing she could feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins.

"TOPPER, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" She yelled, "baby, please calm down." He put his hands out towards her barely touching her hands, "no— no no no no. You do not get to tell me to calm the fuck down." She looked down, "and don't you fucking touch me!" She slapped his hands away from her.

"Moon." Sarah put her bathing suit top back on, Moon didn't care that her sister was drunk, drunk actions were sober thoughts to her. "You're a fucking traitor, my own fucking sister?!" Her voice cracked every chance she talked.

Tears were streaming down her face more than ever, "baby please can we just talk about this." Topper stood up. "NO! We can't just talk about this, first you assault me and get mad that I didn't wanna do it with you! SO YOU GO TO MY SISTER!" She yelled again and again.

"It was a mistake okay, I won't do it again please I love you more than anything in this world. Remember we're gonna get married." He put a smile on his face, "no we're not, cause you're not gonna be in my life anymore." She sniffled.

"What do you mean? Please just give me another chance." Topper begged and begged, she gulped as she felt a lump in her throat. "Goodbye Topper." She took her promise ring off and slapped it against his chest. "Moon please, don't leave me please baby. I've loved you for 3 years."

"Well now you love my sister." She walked away.
