The mask that Max had given Eddie was one she wore on Halloween the first year she was in Hawkins — a Micheal Myers mask. Pauley couldn't help but giggle when Eddie first put it on but there was no time for joking around — they were getting ready to fight an other worldly being. Leading the group through the trailer park, Eddie snuck around quickly — the others quickly following behind him, some confused on where he was getting their ride and some... humored because of how the mask fit him — and by some, it was Pauley. Going to a trailer that had its owners out front, lounging, Eddie and the others made their way to the window on the back of the trailer. Eddie pulled the mask off and looked at Pauley, "That was suffocating." She giggled at his words before Steve came over, "Come on." He urged before helping Pauley into the trailer — everyone following behind her. Once everyone was inside, Eddie quickly made his way to the front of the trailer.

Pauley watched with awe as she realized that Eddie was hot-wiring the trailer. Steve and Robin came over to the two, "Where'd you learn how to do this?" Steve questioned — just as intrigued as Pauley. Eddie spoke without looking away from the task he was doing, "Well, when the other dads were teaching their kids how to fish or play ball, my old man was teaching me to hot-wire." He huffed, "Now, I swore to myself I wouldn't end up like he did, but now I'm wanted for murder, kidnapping, and soon, grand theft auto." Finished with the hot-wiring, Eddie faced the others, "So, uh, I'm really living up to that Munson name." Pauley couldn't help but give him a reassuring smile that Eddie did his best to reciprocate. Robin spoke up, "Eddie, I'm not sure I love the idea of you driving." Eddie shook his head with a smile, "Oh, I'm just starting this sucker, Harrington's got her." Eddie looked at Steve, "Don't ya, big boy?" Steve rolled his eyes before pushing him out of the way and getting in the drivers seat, Robin getting in the passengers.

Eddie chuckled at his actions before getting up and grabbing Pauley's hand — taking her to the seat closest to the back away from everyone. "Hey." Eddie whispered to her and Pauley smiled, "Hey." Eddie looked down at both of their hands before pulling away and pulling off one of his rings and sliding it onto her thumb, "What're you doing Eddie?" Pauley quickly asked and Eddie kissed her, "Just in case y'know? If all this goes well, then I won't go to jail but... that's the thing that will most likely happen." Pauley shook her head, "No, you aren't going to jail — I'm not gonna let it happen." Eddie grinned, "Ooh, Miss Barrymore, I like it when you're assertive."

After narrowly avoiding getting into a crash — Steve actually drove the trailer quite well. Everyone in the trailer was doing their own thing — Eddie and Pauley being in the same spot they were in when they first left. Eddie had his head on Pauley's lap — the brunette was playing with his hair, looking down at him with a soft smile, Eddie's eyes were closed — he felt like this was the first time in days that he could finally relax and here in the arms of the girl he's liked for forever. He sighed in contentment... who knows when he'll get a moment like this again?

Who knows if he'll ever get a moment like this again?

Getting to the War Zone, everyone gathered around, Steve looking out the window, "So much for avoiding angry rednecks." Robin looked uncomfortable, "Let's be... fast." Everyone muttered in agreement before they all left the trailer — leaving Eddie and Pauley alone. After a few moments of silence Eddie sighed, "Well... this is boring." Pauley looked at him, "Boring? With me here, how is this boring?" She joked making Eddie smile, "True... but I could think of some other things that could make the time go back quicker than just sitting here." Pauley raised a brow, "Oh really? What're you implying Mr. Munson?" Eddie looked at her, his hand going up to caress her face, "What do you think I'm implying Miss Barrymore?"

Luckily, the two didn't get interrupted when the others quickly got on the trailer. "What happened?" Pauley asked with a concerned look — no one answered her, instead, frantically trying to get out of that parking lot. Pauley and Eddie shared a confused look before peeking out the window, seeing Jason and his friends. The couple ducked down and grabbed each other's hands, "Shit."

Steve had parked the trailer onto a deserted place and they all separated into groups to make the weapons they were going to use against Vecna. Dustin, Eddie, and Pauley sat together and made shields — along with putting on the outfits they would wear for the Upside Down. "Is this legal?" Pauley questioned as she hammered the nails into trash lids, Dustin shrugged, "Actually, it's a felony." She nodded, "Right." She couldn't help but giggle. Eddie stood up — holding his shield, "Well, at least it guarantees one thing, I won't miss." Holding the metal lid up and moving it around, Eddie couldn't help but be impressed. "How's she feeling?" Dustin asked and Eddie nodded, "Light, but durable. Deadly, but reliable." Both Dustin and Pauley laughed. Posing, Eddie spoke dramatically, "There will be no more retreating..." he sighed, speaking in his normal voice, "for Eddie the banished."

Dustin grinned, "Hey, you're really ready for bat-tle." He chortled but Eddie didn't give him any reaction. "You get it? Bat-tle." Pauley couldn't help the smile coming on her face from the joke. "B-a-t. No?" Dustin groaned, "I thought I had a good one." Eddie looked at him before dropping the shield. "What're you doing?" Dustin questioned before Eddie lunged at him, "You son of a bitch!" The two rolled around on the ground, rough housing — Pauley watched on, laughing. "No wedgies! No wedgies!" Dustin exclaimed before Eddie stopped and looked at him, slightly out of breath, "Never change, Dustin Henderson. Promise me?" Dustin nodded, "Wasn't planning on it." Eddie grinned, "Good." Dustin repeated the word and Eddie repeated it again making the two laugh. Eddie looked over at Pauley, "You love her, don't you?" Dustin asked and Eddie didn't look at him as he answered.

"Yeah, yeah I do."
