"What's happening Harrington?!" Pauley called down as her — along with the others — watched as Steve frantically shook a frozen Nancy. "I don't know!" He yelled back as he looked back to Nancy. "Nancy, just stay with me, okay? Just stay with me." Steve said over and over as he tried to wake her out of whatever state she was in. "Find some music!" Steve called up to them and Pauley looked at Robin and Eddie — "Okay!" The three went off to Eddie's room while Dustin, Lucas, Max, and Erica stayed with Steve.

Rifling through drawers throughout the room — they found multiple cassettes. "Steve says you guys need to hurry up!" Dustin yelled at them and Eddie huffed, "Yeah? No shit!" Pauley looked through a cardboard box, "We can't find anything!" Eddie's room had turned into a mess at this point — almost everything on the ground now. "What is all this shit?" Robin had mumbled to herself — Dustin walked into the room, "What are you even looking for?" He questioned as Robin pulled out multiple cassettes, "Madonna, Blondie, Bowie, Beatles?! Music we need music!" Robin yelled as Eddie went over and pulled out a cassette — it was Iron Maiden, "This is music!"

Nancy suddenly collapsed onto Steve, "Hey, whoa, whoa, whoa." He held her close as she breathed heavily — she was clearly frightened by something. "It's okay, it's okay, it's okay." Steve whispered to her over and over. "It's okay, I'm here." Nancy felt out of breath, "I'm right here." Steve said as he rubbed comforting circles on her back. Nancy nodded at his words before looking at the makeshift rope dangling between the two worlds. "Let's get out of here, 'kay?" Steve said to her and she looked at him before nodding. Steve let her climb up first before he did so himself.

"Guys! Guys!" Steve called to the others in Eddie's room and they quickly walked back into the living room. The others wanted to comfort Nancy — but they gave her space as she sat down on the couch, still frightened at what she saw — "What happened?" Steve questioned in a soft voice and she looked at him before looking down at her lap. Her breath was shaky, "He showed me things that haven't happened yet." Her voice was hoarse as she spoke. "The most awful things. I saw a dark cloud spreading over Hawkins. Downtown on fire, dead soldiers, and this... giant creature... with a gaping mouth.. and this creature wasn't alone. There were so many monsters, an army — and they were coming into Hawkins. Into our neighborhoods, our homes, and then... he showed me my mom... and Holly.. Mike... and they were all..." Nancy couldn't finish her sentence as her eyes welled up with tears.

Her words made Pauley think of her brother and she couldn't help but think of going back home — but she couldn't, she was on the run for now, she needed to stay here. "Okay, but.. he's just trying to scare you Nance. Right? I mean, I mean it's not real." Steve tried to comfort Nancy — as well as try to comfort the others — "Not yet." Steve shrugged before Nancy continued, "But there... there was something else. He showed me gates. Four gates. Spreading across Hawkins, and they looked like the one outside of Eddie's trailer.. but they didn't stop growing. And this wasn't Upside Down Hawkins — this was our Hawkins. Our home." Max came to a realization at her words, "Four chimes." Everyone looked at her with confused looks. "Vecna's clock. It always chimes four times. Four exactly." Nancy nodded. "I heard them too. He's been telling us his plan this whole time."

"Four kills." Dustin spoke up — his words making everyone realize what he meant. "Four gates."

"End of the world."

Lucas looked at Max, "If that's true... he's only one kill away."

"Oh Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ."

"Try 'em again. Try 'em again."

The line rung again before it went to a busy signal. Max was on the phone — trying to call Joyce Byers, the mother to Will, a friend of the teens — Max hung the phone up, "Anything?" Dustin questioned and the red head shook her head, "No, rang a few times then went to a busy signal." Steve then jumped into the conversation — saying she punched the number in wrong — but Pauley wasn't paying that much attention, she was still worried about her brother, "Hey, you okay?" The sound of Eddie's voice made her look at him, she nodded, "Yeah.. I'm okay." She mumbled with a fake smile which made him quirk his brow. "You're a terrible liar." He chuckled as he sat down next to her. "What's on your mind, princess?"

Pauley huffed before looking at him, "It's just that, I'm worried about my brother — he's overprotective with me so I know he's probably freaking out cause I haven't been home in a while." She laughed quietly, "He's gonna be so mad." Eddie gave her a grin, "He'll understand, don't worry." Placing a kiss on her temple, he held her close — he would make sure Pauley would return back home, safe and sound.
