"Why does this always happen to me?"

2 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫

After 2 weeks of planning, it was finally time for the cast to have their sleepover. Everyone decided it would be best to go to Aurora's house since it was the least chaotic and most orderly.

Solana was sitting in her dad's car, bouncing her leg up and down. As much as she was excited, she was also nervous. She really wanted to make a good first impression on them because she didn't want them to hate her.

Her dad looked over at her while she was lost in the storm of her anxiety. He let out a soft sigh, which snapped her out of the anxiety attack that was going to happen

"OK, what's bothering you?" He asked with a hint of worry in his voice

"What if they don't like me?" She chocked out, fiddling with the friendship bracelet on her wrist

"Anyone would be stupid to not like you," he reassured her softly.

"I love you, sweetie. Never doubt that," he comforted.

"I love you too, dad," she responded

She smiled at him thankfully just as they had arrived at Aurora's house.

She was about to leave when he started asking questions.

"Do you have your phone?"

"Yes, dad."

"Do you have your charger?"

"Yes, dad."

"Anti-anxiety pills?"

"Yes, dad."

"Toothbrush?"

"Dad, I have everything, I promise," she chuckled

"OK, just call me if anything happens," he asked, a hint of worry in his voice.

"OK, dad. Bye, I love you," she yelled as she walked away

He echoed her words back to her, and he pulled away.

She stood outside the door and let out a deep breath. She knocked on the door after considering running away and calling her dad.

She rocked back and forth on her heels as she waited anxiously for the door to open.

After what seemed to be forever, the door opened to reveal a smiling Aurora.

"Thank God you're here," she chuckled, "I was starting to think you weren't going to show up."

"I'm not going to say I wasn't considering it," she joked

After letting out a soft laugh, they finally went into the house where everyone was sitting in the living room.

Leah and Walker were fighting over something, with Leah constantly screeching at Walker to give it back to her, or she would call Leena and get him in trouble.

Solana walked over to the corner of the living room quietly to put her stuff down, trying not to bring attention to herself. She sat down on her sleeping bag and started staring at the wall.

Leah walked over to her and hugged her tightly, making her smile.

Leah turned to her, concern all over her face.

"Sol, you have to talk to him," she persuaded gently

"Lee, you know I can't," she groaned

"Yes, you can, just try," Leah pushed

Solana sighed and walked over to Walker. It was awkwardly silent. She tried to talk, but the thought of his psycho- whatever they were finding out and possibly hurting her or her family - sent chills down her spine.

Nonetheless, she sat down quietly next to him and tried to talk. The entire 5-second long interaction made her want to crawl into a hole and die. When she tried- keyword- tried to talk to him, he just gave her a side eye that caused her to run away.

She laid down next to Leah and let out sigh.

"He doesn't like me."

"That's not true."

"Is to."

"Is not."

"Is to."

"Is not."

"Can yall shut up for 2 seconds?"

And with that, the argument very quickly ended.

3 hours of the girls' baking cookies for everyone passed by pretty quickly, and they were getting ready to watch a movie that the boys clearly weren't going to pay attention to. Aurora was sitting down when they heard loud banging on the door and manic screaming.

"Walker, I swear if that's your psycho girlfriend, you're dealing with it," Aurora warned sternly.

She walked over to the front door and opened it. Jules then came storming in, her face red.

"Are you cheating on me?!" She yelled

"No, I'm not," he groaned

"If you guys are gonna fight, do it outside, thank you," Charlie interrupted

Jules rolled her eyes while she stomped outside, Walker following behind her sheepishly. There was more screaming that could be heard, and everyone sat silently.

"Quick question: How many times has this happened?" Solana asked curiously.

"This happens anytime we come over here," Aryan explained, "she always thinks Walker is cheating on her with Hayley."

All of a sudden, the door burst open, and Jules was charging towards Solana. Before anyone could stop her, she punched her straight in the face, leaving her nose bloody.

"Stay away from my boyfriend, you whore," she spat.

Solana ran to the bathroom, her nose dripping. Leah ran behind her while Aurora found an ice pack in the freezer.

"The bleeding won't stop," she complained.

"It's ok, just place this ice pack to your nose," Aurora instructed.

Meanwhile, Charlie and Aryan were lecturing Walker on why he needed to have more sympathy instead of laughing at her, but he just rolled his eyes and walked away.

Leah and Solana sat on the bathroom floor in complete silence. Leah felt like it was her fault her friend was in pain, and she didn't know how she was going to tell her dad. She was the kind of friend who blamed herself for anything bad that happened.

As if Solana knew what she was thinking, she whispered, "Don't blame yourself, Lee."

Leah let out a shakey breath before she spoke. "But it is."

They both looked at each other, understanding present without words being spoken. They shared a hug that comforted the both of them. Just as they felt happy again, the sound of something shattering.

Being concerned, they both ran outside to Solana's anti-anxiety pills all over the floor beneath walkers' feet. Her eyes widened as she trembled. Panic was evident in her facial expression as she ran over and tried to pick them up and  put them in her bag packet. She stammered, tears streaming down her face.

Leah looked at Walker in shock. She didn't know why the normally caring and welcoming guy she knew was being so hostile towards her friend.

"Did you do this?" She whispered

He stayed silent, which only heightened her anger. She started hurdling words at him to make him understand how horrible he was being. Everyone just stood and listened, not wanting to say anything, because if there was one thing they knew, it was to not try and talk to Leah when she was angry.

When she finished giving him a lecture, she walked into the garden to cool down. Everyone sat in silence before Charlie broke it.

"That wasn't cool at all, dude," he scoffed .

"I-"

"No one wants to hear it, Walker," Aurora chimed in. "She's been nothing but nice to you, and you broke her medication bottle." She then got up and walked away.

Solana looked at him with a look of hatred. She walked away as quickly as she could before she started to have an angry fit. Charlie and Aryan followed suit, leaving Walker alone in the living room.
