chapter nine - colors and discussing
November 16th, 2018. (Friday)
Ponyboy continues to kiss the ran boy for a minute before pulling away. He pants lightly from the quickness of the kiss and looks at the tan boy.
Tan boy?
Tan boy?
Ponyboy could see colors! He looks around quickly to see all of the bright colors flooding into his world.
The 16-year-old grins widely and looks at Johnny who had an almost similar look on his face. Johnny was looking around before settling his eyes on Ponyboy.
"Y-you're my... You're my anima gemella," Johnny whispers, still looking at Ponyboy. He gives a small smile and swallows thickly before frowning.
"B-but I have to go home soon," Johnny says. "I-I'll have to leave you here in America..."
Ponyboy hugs him and shrugs his shoulders. He holds the older yet shorter boy close, ignoring his words for a moment.
"I don't care, Johnny," Ponyboy murmurs. "Just enjoy what time you have left here with me. You're 18, remember? You're an adult and you make the choices. Just call your parents tonight or something and talk it out with them... Whatever happens, I'm stuck with you."
Johnny nods his head shyly and rests his head into the crook of Ponyboy's neck. The younger boy was right. Enjoy the now and worry about the future a little later. He has his soulmate and wants to spend time with him.
"It feels so nice to see colors," Johnny murmurs into his neck. "18 almost 19 years of black and white... Everything looks so different... So... So wonderful."
Ponyboy nods his head in agreement, still not believing he could see colors. They all looked so amazing and he was thrilled either way. The 16-year-old sways a little bit with his tan soul mate, pressing a small kiss to the top of his head.
"Would you like to come over to my house for a little while," Ponyboy asks. "Call your host family or something and tell them where you'll be... That is if you wanna come over."
"I would amore to come over," Johnny says, pulling his phone out of his back pocket.
Ponyboy pulls away and takes a step back, watching as Johnny called his host parents. They weren't on the phone for more than a minute or two before the hangs up.
"I can go," Johnny says. He grabs the 16-year-old's hand, grinning widely. "Let's go. I wanna kiss on you some more."
The younger boy grins and nods, starting to walk Johnny to his house. He hasn't been over in a while. It would be a great time for Ponyboy to give Johnny that friendship bracelet. At least, they didn't have a friendship anymore.
It was a relationship.

How was this?
This was a few hundred words longer that the other chapters so hopefully this is better. I'm sorry for the short chapters recently.
