I N T R O D U C T I O N

Penelope was from a planet called Anoulia, a neighbouring planet to Gallifrey. Both Anoulians and Time Lords were very similar by appearance and knowledge, but they were very different species. While Time Lords had two hearts and the power to regenerate, Anoulians did not, they just had a prolonged life span by harnessing regeneration energy from the neighbouring planet.

Penelope was part of the royal family in her world, third in line for the throne. Only the royal bloodlines had a unique power that differed them from the rest of the Anoulians, they could turn regeneration energy into kinetic energy at a flick of their wrist, they were living weapons, but there was never a reason to use such a thing.

When the time war came, the Anoulians were called upon by the Time Lords to aid them against the Daleks, but it only led to the fall of their home world as well as Gallifrey. Penelope was lucky to escape unharmed.

She took refuge on earth, running into a man named Graham O'Brien who took her under his wing and taught her how to lead a human life. Penny grew attached to him and never let him grow lonely, she was happy to see him remarry to a wonderful woman named Grace. Grace had a grandson who refused to acknowledge Penny and Graham as his family, but that didn't stop the Anoulian from trying to get him to warm up to her.

It was fate that Penelope got on the train with her father figure and ran into her soulmate from Gallifrey, her Bonded. She didn't even know it was possible to be bonded with a Time Lord, or in this case, a Time Lady. Some would even say that it was like gravity had pulled two souls together for one joint destiny.
