the gryffindor common room was lit up by only fairy lights and the fireplace, it had to be at least 10 o'clock at night.

lila and ron were playing just dance, harry, dean, and seamus were filling up their cups with hot chocolate. while padma and parvati were giggling with each other,

"lila!" ron groaned. "why are you not playing?"

lila shrugged and stayed sitting in her seat, only moving the controller in her hand to match the dancers move.

"it's no fun!" ron whined, stomping his feet like a little kid. "you're not even playing!"

"the sad part is that lila isn't even trying and she's still winning." dean joined with a roar of laughter.

hermione came in the room with curlers in her hair and tucking her robe in like an english teacher.

"this was definitely an eventful year." hermione sighed taking a sip of her hot chocolate.

"oh really?" lila mocked hermione.

harry sat next to lila and put his head on her lap. while lila continued to move her left hand to the just dance game.

"why aren't you saying anything?" questioned padma, as she slowly walked towards the middle of the common room.

"about what?" lila asked.

"harry put his jungle of hair on your lap. but when sirius does it you knock him off. why's that?"

"i feel caught." lila stated dramatically and fell onto her back with harry's head still on her lap.

"how are you still winning?!" ron cried. "look at you! you aren't even doing anything!"

"maybe it's just because you suck." hermione huffed.

"like you can do better!"

"i can." hermione laughed. "gimme it." hermione snatched the controller from ron's hand which started an argument between the two (per usual).

"i'm agreeing with padma." harry got up from lila's lap. "you didn't say anything... are you okay?"

"why wouldn't i be." lila furrowed her eyebrows.

"you are not lila... the real lila would've pushed me off immediately." harry said suspiciously.

"how do you want me to prove to you that i am the real lila?"

"um... kiss me— jokes but—" but harry was cut off by lila pecking him on the cheek.

"i meant on the lips but whatever—"

lila got sick of harry babbling so to shut him up she pressed her lips onto his. this time lila didn't pull away. she wrapped her arms around his neck while harry wrapped his arms around her waist.

"WHAT THE FUCK! IS ANYONE SEEING THIS?" dean screamed, putting his huge ass camera down.

"what—HOLY." ron screeched, which made the both of them instantly jump apart from each other.

"why are screaming?— wait. did you two." hermione glanced at lila and harry. "did you guys— kiss."

"yeah we did. and what about it?" harry stood up proudly. "now, i am going to talk to my lovely girlfriend." he glared at all of them which made them scatter away.

harry jumped back on the chair that lila was sitting on and placed his head back in lila's lap.

"so..." he started while smirking. "what are we?"

"friends." lila simply said, twirling a piece of her hair

harry snapped his head up to look at lila instantly. "stop being such a chat noir!"

"just kiddinggggg." lila cheekily smiled. "well... if we were dating. sirius and remus would probably kill you before voldemort would. so how about we are friends with—"

lila stopped before she could finish. she thought about cedric. her eyes widened in realization. will cedric haunt harry?

lila turned to harrys face which had impatient written all over it.

"so... answer. what are we?" harry asked again.

lila took a deep breath in. "what about cedric? will i get haunted by him? will you get haunted by him?"

harry was silent for a couple of seconds before sighing and putting his hands through his hair. "you know, cedric would honestly be proud of me for finally getting a girlfriend since he actually always liked us together. i mean more than me and that's saying A LOT."

"really?"

"yeah." harry chuckled and nodded his head. "he would be happy for the both of us."

"ok." lila nodded her head. "then i guess we're friends with benefits!"

"does that mean i can kiss you whenever i want?!"

"that was the kind of the approach—"

"even shag?!"
