" 𝕿his place is beautiful", Harry glances around as Darlene takes a bite of her cupcake almost choking on the cream when she hears him.

"You haven't seen it before?", she furrows her brows mumbling through a mouthful.

Harry smiles seeing the tiny speck of cream dangling from the corner of her lips.

"No, I haven't".

She grabs a tissue lightly dabbing it over her skin and frowns.

"But you live in London".

"Yeah, but I usually don't go exploring. It's weird to think how I know more about other places than my own home".

The thought saddens him to an extent, the fact that despite living in London for the past eight years despite calling it his home, he's just like a tourist there.

A stranger in his own house.

It makes a feeling of solemnity descend over him.

Darlene notices the change in mood.

"It's not that unusual though. Many people spend their entire lives living in a place they know very little about. You've been busy", she points out making him sigh.

He only shrugs fidgeting with the ends of the placemat.

The comforting instrumental music playing in the bakery brings light to his expression, even more so the way Darlene calls his name causing a smile to spread on his face.

"Are you free these next few days?", she expectantly looks up at him toying with the cupcake wrapper.

"Yeah".

"Alright then. It's settled, I'm gonna give you a tour of London. Sound good?".

He doesn't know whether it's the unfamiliarity he harbours towards his home or the way a rush of butterflies flurry through him every time she smiles and her light sapphire eyes crinkle at the sides but he finds himself agreeing.

When her eyes light up and her lips twitch into a wide grin, he knows that it was the latter.

The butterflies invade and he's happy about that.

The first time he's been genuinely happy in a long time.
