As the soft morning light filtered through the curtains, Dahlia stirred awake to the gentle hum of her phone receiving a notification. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she glanced at the screen to see an email notification from the producer her and Momona auditioned to get the roles in a new upcoming movie .

I clicked on the email seeing that both me and momma both got our roles!

I glanced over to momona who is now still sleeping I had a percy jackson interview today 2 to be exact  so i needed to get ready I'll just tell her later.

I hopped into the shower and wasted like 30 minutes just listening to music don't blame me I'm just in that mood you know?

i changed into black off shoulder top and grey cargo pants and air jordans and put my hair in a half pony tail with 2 plaits and a ribbon that should be good for an interview right?

I put on some natural makeup because yk it's not that big of a deal actually it is because loads of people will be watching but yk it's not like the oscars or something.

I walked down to the kitchen to see momona talking to my mum.Olivia had to leave early in the morning for her tour so it was just me and mo.

"hey sweetie you want some waffles?"My mum kindly asked and i accepted seeing as waffles are my favourite they're so underrated I kinda like them better than pancakes.

after some food me and momona went upstairs to my room.

"MOMONA WE GOT THE PART!!"I exclaimed bringing my best friend into a hug as she squeezed me tightly.

"no way!"She said with her jaw dropped."yes way! the cast list is on the email but i didn't get a chance to read it i wanted us to read it together.

"okay so you got the lead Maeve Jones."Momona started off as she read the cast list.

"oh.."she said quietly."what?"i questioned as she had a worried look on her face I mean i got the part what could be so bad?

"your love interest is Mason Kline..."she began slowly.

I nod still confused at what she meant what could be so bad?

my celebration was interrupted by that stupid alarm clock which won't stfu about my percy jackson interview i was excited mostly because we do some fun games like guess the movie and whose most likely and i guarantee i will win i do movie marathons everyday for a living.

INTERVIEW

"hey guys im Dahlia monroe and i play Aurora Sterling."

"none cares."Walker informed making a snarky comment still containing his stupid cute smile to the camera.

wait did i just say cute?

"im leah sava jefferies and i play annabeth."

"and im walker scobell and i play percy jackson."

"i think you mean ginger biscuit."I snap back at him for his comment earlier because this guy he looking more ginger than ice spice.

"ok and we are playing guess the movie and whose most likely let's start the video!"

A pink handbag and michal jackson came up.

we all started guessing but we guessed horribly.

then the answer came up percy jackson.

"percy jackson."leah read out loud.

"ohhhhh"aryan said understanding.

"okay that makes a lot more sense."I laughed.

Walker covered his eyes in embarrassment."not even percy jackson could guess that."I said turning to Walker as he playfully pushed me as i chuckled in amusement.

"that was good!"Aryan said

A mean in maths came up and some girls.

"pitch perfect!"Leah guessed but failed.

"MEAN GIRlS"I immediately guessed because i loveee the movie.

"fun fact i was watching that a few days ago."

then leah said it 10 seconds later.

" i said it first!"Leah exclaimed.why she lying for we all know i said it first?

"um actually to my calculations Lia got it first."Aryan interrupted.

"sorry leah maybe next time."I say patting her back as she groaned in defeat and swatted my hand away.

"im getting none of these."Walker complained as he leaned his head back.

then a sudden slap came to the back of my head form the curly headed boy.

"okayy ow."I said rubbing the back of my head.

a pasta i think came up and aryan immediately guessed ratatouille i gave to give it to him i wouldn't have guessed it that fast.

"i've got none of these i haven't even pressed the button."

a blubbery and a golden ticket came up aryan guessed charlie and the chocolate factory and then i smashed my hand into the button and guessed."Wonka!"I said really fast.

"blubbery girl.the girl isn't in the new one and charlie and the chocolate factory is technically the correct one."Aryan said using some kind of weird explanation actually it was correct but i'm not giving him MY point.

"this kids is an example of a sore loser."I say side eyeing aryan.

"im not a sore loser it's just logic!"He threw his hands in the air."and plus im older than you!"

then a colour purple came up.

"the colour purple?"I say confused.Then the answer can up as the movie i said.

"wait what?"I say still confused as of what is going on.

"she doesn't get that she was just clarifying!"leah exclaimed.

"children these days always gotta be sour."I implied looking out to the camera if i'm honest i had no idea what went wrong i didn't even mean the movie but i'm not going to let the truth.

"she does not get that she doesn't mean it as the answer!"Aryan argued

then the next movie came up.

aryan smashed the button and stated the answer."anyone but you."

"oh i love that film mostly because it was sydney sweeney!"I exclaim clapping my hands in excitement.

"i loved the enemies to lovers trope."Leah giggled in excitement.

"as the percy jackson cast we have a little enemies to lovers trope in our group."Aryan began.

Walker turned to the boy in confusion."wait what who!?"

"don't worry about it."Aryan rubs it off.

the next was some kinda olden age thing leah repeatedly guessed bridgerton but obviously it was incorrect.
"see this is why the button keeps on breaking."Aryan complained remove the button from the girls grasp as she quietly apologised.

"the renaissance?"Walker guessed seeming unsure as he pressed the button.

the reneissance was the correct answer but i think it was just luck.

"ohh Beyoncé."I say understanding.

next was a wall and an e

i immediately knew what it was but as i went to answer Aryan beat me to it.

"WALL-E"

"omg that's such a cute name for mr school bell over here."I say pointing to walker.

"okay fine just you wait."walker said eyeing me

next was tom holland/peter and a pan.

"peter pan!."i smash the button once again and what a surprise it was correct i'm just too good these kiddies can't get to my level.

"that was good."Aryan celebrated another answer correct giving me a high five.

next was pinocchio an leah hit her first one correct yayyy.

"i literally won this thing there is no denying!"I boast.

"you know the really cute girl that everyone wishes they could date?"I say talking about me obviously a me who wouldn't want to date me!

"cute girl where i don't see her?"Walker starts looking around the room.

"your just jealous that im just better looking."I flip my hair purposely whacking it in his face.

"okay now it's time forrrr whose most likely to!"

"i just know there will be a lot of shade in this."Aryan guesses but who knows will there?he's probably right but sometimes people need to know the truth even if it is brutal.

"so this was a few days ago i met up with Dahlia and i complimented her saying "omg you look so gorgeous!" and then she started singing gorgeous by taylor swift."Leah explained whilst everybody laughed at the situation.

Throughout the rest of the interview, I noticed Walker's bright blue eyes stayed glued to me, like they had magnets inside! I couldn't help but be amazed by how his eyes sparkled like diamonds. It was like a staring contest except it was only 1 person playing

after a few more answers and laughs the interview/ game was over and we all decided to get ice cream after.

once we reached the ice cream shop leah and aryan stayed outside as me and walker got the ice cream because they insisted we go together.

i got cookies and cream,leah got cookies and cream same as me,Aryan got chocolate and walker got vanilla.

as we headed to pay i was about to pay until walker did it for me and as we grabbed the chocolate i decided to ask he why he did that seeing it was my turn to pay this time since we all take it in turns but i decided to just leave it.

suddenly my phone went off it was momona texting she left because she had to go somewhere for her mum's birthday it was fine because i was going to go to ask to sleepovers at leah's with the percy jackson cast and i was going to invite her but it's fine now i guess.

Walker, me, aryan,leah sauntered down the street toward Leah's house.

With each step, our anticipation grew, fueled by the promise of snacks, blankets, and endless episodes of our favorite show. We couldn't wait to dive into the drama, the romance, and the plot twists that awaited us on the screen but we couldn't do that yet we had to get ready for our 2 episode watch party which maddy and charlie were dropping us off to .

Arriving at Leah's doorstep, we didn't just knock—we practically barged in, ready to transform her living room into the ultimate cozy hangout spot. Popcorn was popped, sodas were chilled, and blankets were fluffed with precision.

Maddy and Charlie pulled up in Charlie's vintage convertible, the wind tousling their hair as they grinned at us from the driver's seat. With the music blaring and the sun sinking low in the sky, it felt like something out of a coming-of-age movie.

"Need a ride to the party of the year?" Maddy called out, her voice full of excitement.

We exchanged eager glances before practically leaping into the backseat, our hearts racing with anticipation. As we buckled up, Charlie revved the engine, and we sped off toward Leah's house, the world a blur of streetlights and laughter.

As we pulled up outside Leah's house, the energy was electric, crackling in the air like fireworks on the Fourth of July. With heartfelt thanks and promises to catch up later, we hopped out of the car, ready to dive headfirst into the night's festivities.

With a final wave, Maddy and Charlie peeled away into the night, leaving us buzzing with excitement and anticipation for the epic watch party awaiting us inside.
