CHAPTER SIX !
CALISTA watches as the three boys all snore on layout mattresses.
she shakes her head and turns off the disney movie they were watching.
calista gets up cautiously and picks up all the sweet wrappers and heads over to the kitchen to put it in the bin.
she glances over to the sink and notices loads of dishes stacked upon eachother.
why couldn't they just put it in the damn dishwasher..
she sighs in annoyance and rubs her eyes tiredly.
"you alright?" she hears a familiar voice and stops herself from rolling her eyes.
"thought you were sleeping." she states calmly, looking over at walker.
"i was, then heard you get up and decided to follow." walker shrugs.
"right— okay well i'm gonna go to bed now, in my room." calista ends the conversation and starts to leave.
"can i at least get a goodnight—?" walker stops her in her tracks.
"hell no." calista snorts and starts to walk over to the door but someone shuts it and she gasps.
"what the fu— who did that!" she bangs on the door angrily and hears giggling from behind the door.
"sorry callie, but the boy deserves an explanation!" she hears griffins voice and she groans.
"oh fuck you griff!" she kicks the door in anger.
walker just leans on the counter and watches her bang the door.
"you're gonna break the door if you keep doing that." walker mumbles.
"yeah well i don't wanna be in here the whole night— especially with you." she snaps harshly.
"ouch." walker holds his heart and holds back a frown.
calista rolls her eyes and stops hitting the door as she slowly gets tired.
she looks over to walker who's making something out of tissue and she holds back a smile whilst slumping on the floor.
"what are you making?" calista enquires.
"trying to make a butterfly, wanna see?" walkers eyes light up.
"whatever— but you're gonna have to sit on the ground because i'm too tired to stand." calista mutters and he nods.
walker slumps down next to her and shapes the tissue into a butterfly whilst calista just watches.
"what colour should i do?" walker asks the girl next to him.
"how are you gonna give it colour?" calista raises an eyebrow.
"ooh— i've got markers in my pocket." walker shrugs and pulls out a bunch of markers.
"oh, in that case probably purple but with a bit of dark blue." calista smooches over to him and grabs a marker to help him.
"alright!" walker says excitedly.
they start to colour in the butterfly and calista's mind just wonders of and starts to draw stars on walkers hands and arms but walker just allows it as he knows there probably won't be moments like this again.
"calista?" walker mumbles but for only calista to hear.
"yeah?" she mumbles back with her eyes closed and her head laying on the floor.
"why do you dislike me so much?" walker starts to draw on her hand.
"it's not like i can't stand you but it's just like i used to be the internets favourite young star, then you came along and then many more came along and i think i've just been taking out on you." calista lets out a sigh.
"oh— i see." walker holds back a frown.
"i'm sorry." calista opens her eyes and looks up at him.
"it's okay, you had to let your emotions out on something and that something just happens to be me i guess." walker leans his head back letting his curls fall to cover his eyes.
"but realistically, i should've been more mature about the situation instead of just being horrible to you." she explains.
"i'm not gonna lie and say it didn't affect me how you were acting towards me, but im just trying understand where you're coming from because deep down i know i didn't deserve that at all, but it actually hurt me in ways i honestly didn't expect." walker attempts to open up.
"i didn't really think about how you felt, and i apologise for that because im only thinking about myself in this and it's just making me realise i should've looked at the situation in your perspective." calista sniffles, letting out a few tears.
"oh, please don't cry." walker grabs her face gently and wipes her tears, trying not to poke her eyes.
"i'm sorry, i shouldn't be crying because i'm not the victim here but i've just noticed how much of a horrible person i actually am." calista lets out a sob.
"you're not a horrible person, you've just made a small mistake and now you can learn from it, don't bring yourself down because of it." walker reassures her and lays her head on his lap.
"why aren't you angry at me?" calista lays on her back so the back of her head is in walkers lap.
"because i don't like to be angry at people because i know it will hurt them." walker twirls calista's curls.
"you're such a nice person, gosh, i dont even deserve your kindness." calista mumbles.
"of course you deserve my kindness, i care for you." walker says half-asleep.
"you care for me?" calista feels something go off in her stomach.
"everyone deserves to be cared for, including you." walker lets go of her hair.
"hm." calista starts to drift asleep.
"friends?" walker offers.
"mmm." calista gives a nod making walker grin.
"goodnight callie." walker mumbles in her ear.
"we're not a nickname basis yet." calista snorts.
"awh man." walker sighs.
"i'm kidding, goodnight walker." calista laughs
"night night, sleep tight! don't let the bed bugs bite, callie." walker giggles and calista punches him in the arm.
