"How did it happen exactly?" Michelle questioned Peter. The three of them had laid together on the bed, Rosemary in between of them wearing one of Peter's shirts due to only having the clothes she was wearing when she was saved.

Peter looked at her and then back to Rosemary. "Well, she only had the clothes she was wearing and since those are now ruined along with my bedsheets, she's wearing one of my shirts. You may think it's ridiculous but I actually think it's kind of cute–"

MJ snickered. It was Peter's 'Find x' shirt that she always found ridiculous–but on Rosemary....she was able to make an exception. "No, no. I meant how did you happen to get Rosemary? Like, I assume there was chaos everywhere, how did you know there was a baby around in need of saving?"

"It was my spider sense," Peter winced at the thought of remembering the mother's death. "I heard her crying. At that moment I knew I had to ignore that giant lizard and help her and her mother. She gave me the baby, I tried to help her out but she just wouldn't let me. When I saw the news this morning, I had hope that they would find her alive but–"

MJ laid her head on his shoulder, rubbing his arms. "Sh, I know. Rosemary is so darn grateful you were there. Look at her smile–" Rosemary had rolled from her back to her front as she caught them staring in wonder. "She's safe and yours now and that's all that matters."

Ours, was what Peter tried to correct her on but stopped himself to keep from making her uncomfortable. He simply smiled at her as MJ stood up to leave but not before bending down to give Rosemary who was now in Peter's arms a kiss on the head. MJ gasped, seeing as Rosemary had managed to get a hold of her long curly hair. Only seven months old but the girl had a good grip. "I don't know if this is her way of saying she doesn't like me or she really doesn't want to see me go." MJ laughed.

Peter helped MJ, gently pulling at her small fingers until she got her hair back. "Definitely the last one. You don't have to go, you know May doesn't mind you staying at all."

"I know, but I have to explain everything to my Mom," She sighed. "I'm really sorry of accusing you of cheating, by the way. I should've let you talk and I just ran out–"

"You don't have to apologize, it was wrong for me to say it the way that I did."

MJ shrugged. "I guess we were both in the wrong. Well, I really have to get going–"

"May is giving you a ride home, right?" Peter asked.

"Yup, she already said she would as you were changing Rosemary." She hugged him, giving him a quick kiss on the lips while Peter pulled her closer. "I'll see you tomorrow morning, okay? I love you."

Peter pouted as she pulled away to grab her bag that was hanging on the door. "I love you more."

MJ made sure her hair was no where near Rosemary again as she bent down to smile at her. "Bye, Rosemary–it was really nice meeting you. I'm sure you and I are going to be really great friends." She booped her nose before doing the same to Peter.

They were now alone as Peter had now given his action figures for her to play with while he finished his homework on the side. "So what did you think of MJ? She's beautiful, am I right?"

Rosemary babbled, reaching for his textbook which Peter moved closer to him while replacing her interest in the book to his Darth Vader action figure which she quickly grabbed from his hands. "You know, you're only a few months old but we have so much in common already–our parents are dead, we both like Star Wars, we both have good taste in clothing, and we both love MJ–I think we're going to make a fantastic duo. High five!"

He held his hand up for her where she continued to stare at it before Peter showed her how himself. Her small hand finally went up to his and he gave a small cheer. "That's it! And now fist bump–or as I like to call it, hulk smash."

Rosemary was able to fist bump all on her own, which made Peter really excited and made her squeal with joy. "You did really good! I'm sure when you get older, we'll have a better handshake than this but I'm proud."

i miss writing for spider's girl so i knew i just had to come back and get some inspiration to write this book😭

both Peter and MJ(she is now back to MJ and not Michelle because her and Peter are not married yet) ARE 16!! and Rosemary is only 7 months old!

each chapter i will write will let you know how old each person is so you don't get confused jsjhj
