WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE "BIRTHDAY"?

moon: something that is very new to us but it still feels like home.

iris: it's fun and unique but surprising and very unexpected. something that is spontaneous. Like a birthday party.

FAVORITE TRACKS ON THE ALBUM?

jisoo: I like On A Ride. It's very fun and melodic.

moon: me too. That's one of my favorite tracks on the album. I also like In My Dreams. I am a fan of love songs.

sunmi: Birthday and Red Dress. My top two favorites.

mi sun: I like Birthday, too. And I like In My Dreams.

iris: I would have to choose........On A Ride. I like the instrumental and how all of our voices harmonize on it.

YOUR FAVORITE TOUR STOP?

jisoo: anywhere tropical, Hawaii, Jeju, anywhere that there is a beach.

moon: I find that I like going to more structured places like London, Paris and placed where there is a lot of history

sunmi: I like going to big cities like New York, Los Angeles and such.

mi sun: I really loved going to Paris and Japan.

iris: honestly speaking, I don't like traveling at all but I do love visiting Los Angeles a lot.

WHO WOULD YOU LOVE TO COLLABORATE WITH IN THE FUTURE?

moon: ooooooh.....that's a good question

mi sun: harry styles

moon: haha, she likes harry styles so of course, she would say that.

jisoo: bella poach

moon: yeah, troye sivan, I like him and conan gray, khalid, sza

mi sun: rain, jessi, dua lipa, bakehyun

sunmi: no one is a bigger baekhyun fan than mi sun hahaha

mi sun: un village yeah~

WHATS IT LIKE TO BE IN A MALE DOMINATED GROUP AND BEING ABLE TO BE IN A GIRL GROUP SUCH AS GØLDEN?

sunmi: a lot of us have been friends for years prior to this group being created. So familiarity came naturally when we first began working together. Like, Moon and Jisoo have been friends since 2014, Iris has known Mi Sun since before Stray Kids and I've known Moon since before I was placed into NCT. It took a little while to get used to working with just girls because all we knew was how to work with boys more than half of our careers.

iris: adding onto what she said, people often think we have it easy because we are the only females in a male dominated group but that's not the case at all. If anything, because we are women in this situation, we have to prove ourselves even more to everyone that this is what we are born to do. This is what we love to do and if we have to break social norms to do so, then so be it.

moon: being in a male group as the only female member is a huge challenge, in itself. Because now, we are watched even more by everyone. And because we have that in common, we were able to help each other out through our differences and be able to communicate through our different styles and experiences. I think that's what makes us ...... golden, haha~

ANY SPECIAL WORDS FOR THE DIAMONDS OUT THERE?

moon: diamonds, we just want to say thank you for your love and your support. Without you, we wouldn't be able to live this dream of ours. Because of you all, you have helped us achieve self acceptance, love and happiness though our music. So we thank you for everything you've done for us.

jisoo: and to add on to that, our advice to every single person, male, female, non-binary, gender fluid or otherwise, no matter the culture or ethnicity or religious background, is to never ever let anyone diminish your ability to be yourself. You deserve to live the life you want to live, regardless of what others have told you. You matter to us and you deserve to have your voice heard. We love you and we hope through our music, you feel that love.
