Dona: Hello Ashita Di ❤
Heartiest Congratulations on being the Winner for the "Best Title" genre.
I am Dona and I will be taking an exclusive interview of you. Hope we both have a good time chatting with each other. ❤
Ashita: Thank you🌻😍
Dona: Tell me something about your current ongoing life? How's everything going around your life?
Ashita: Hi Dona hope you are safe and fine. Firstly I would like to thank the whole team for this wonderful achievement. Well, life is tough these days, every other day brings a bad news from any corner of this World but then I try to see the positive things and just keep myself busy and safe, working on selfgrowth and goals for future
I keep doing things which actually makes me happy & being optimistic is my key to deal with these stressful pandemic days.
Dona: Yes I agree with you! Life is Full of Ups and Downs so we should never lose hope and try to be always Positive.
I have read almost all your books and they pretty amazing, so when did you think of starting with writing? That one moment that writing crossed your mind and started to pen down your thoughts?
Ashita: Thank you for this compliment, it was in 2018 when I started writing and its been an incredible journey for me till date. It was 15th of june 2018, just a day before my birthday when I decided to type a small draft for my story ' Waqt ne kiya kya haseen Sitam'. Honestly speaking, at first I wasnt sure whether, I should post or not but then my heart said go for it and then I did post my first draft a few hours before my birthday. From that day till today, I simply cherish this feeling of starting my journey in the world of word, feeling grateful and blessed for every achievement till now.
Dona: This Heart always makes the right decision for us and see how beautifully you are shinning now❤
Ashita: Aww...thank you❤
Dona: As we talk about writing, do you ever dream of publishing your own book? Is there any of your favourite author/poet who really inspires you a lot?
Ashita: Well solo book publishing is a dream I have somewhere caged in a corner of my heart but now I have started working on my book hoping to publish it in this year itself. Also, have been a part of 78 Anthologies so yeah I have become a Published Co Author now with 6 books released till date.
Talking about my favourite Author its Savi Sharma and she is my constant. Just love how she writes about life and how stories play an important part in our life, she wins my heart everytime I read her works. Another one is Late Amrita Pritam ji, every story by her makes my eyes moist, this is how beautifully she touches the core of my heart. They both are truely an inspiration. Favourite Poet is Ashish Bagrecha and I am a fan of his latest book 'Love Hope & Magic' its a beautiful compilation of poems written by him.
Dona: Beautifully answered!
I just love to travel a lot. So just want to know if you too love travelling or not? Is there a dream destination you wanna visit once in your lifetime?
Ashita: Same here yaar I simply love travelling, especially by trains. The journey itself is so amazing when travelled by trains, sitting with my favourite novel, looking outside the window, those scenic beauties, those moments spent with family or friends, every moment becomes funfilled.
My favourite destinations are Kolkata and then Wardha because these two places are very very close to my heart. A dream destination for me is a trecking trip to Manali and a peaceful road trip to Banaras. Outside the country, I wish to travel to Greece and Las Vegas.
Dona: Wow Kolkata! This is where I live. Next time you visit Kolkata, let's catch up.
And I wish that all your travelling dreams comes true real soon.
Ashita: Thank you💕
Dona: 3 things that are a must when you go out anywhere?
Ashita: Before Pandemic it was - Phone, wallet and lip balm.
Now it is - Mask , hand sanitiser and phone😂
Dona: I can totally relate to you😂
During this pandemic time, we are missing out the fun that we had with our friends! So here's a chance to you to share some of your memories with your friends that you still cherish?
Ashita: So in this pandemic, I actually missed the one day trips and dinner plans, me and my friends used to make. Those moments of joy and clicking endless photographs, singing songs in the cab, all these are precious moments which I wish to live again with all of them, once the pandemic ends.
Dona: Genuine feelings. This pandemic may apart us physically but has at the same time made us more emotionally connected to each other🤗
We have seen a lot of movies where students are seen bunking classes, so do you think bunking classes is good or not? Have you ever bunked your classes?
Ashita: In school days, I was just like Naina, I had never bunked a single class. I used to sit on the front bench and note every word what my teacher used to say but in my graduation years, I bunked a few classes and used to sit with my friends in the canteen and when accidentally the same teacher used to arrive, we immediately start hiding ourselves behind the books or below the tables. Then again I became a Naina version 2 in my post graduation years, never bunked the classes, because those 2 years were quite strict for us . So yes bunking and no bunking both are a part of a student's life and I have done both and have enjoyed all these phases.
Dona: Though I am not like Naina but I too rarely bunked classes and that too was pressurised by my friends to do so.
Sometimes or the other we all have some embarrassing moments in school or college so is there any particular moment that you felt very embarrassed?
Ashita: Yaa I have shared it in other interview also and it was one super embarrassing moment for me when I made sandwiches in college with potatoes which were not boiled. I actually forgot to boil them and when my friends took a bite of it, you can now imagine how they would have reacted and how bad it tasted. So that one moment I will never forget because after that they used to keep making fun of me every now and then😅😂
Dona: Oh My God! That was really something😂😂...now the whole life you have to face their teasings. But it's good as "Aisi Khattee Mithee Baaton Se Hi To Zindagi Guzarte Hain Hum" ❤
Inspiration can come from anywhere! Be it your teacher or your parents or your elders. Who is your life teacher who has enlightened you with his/her acts or words?
Ashita: My biggest inspiration is my life itself. There has been times when darkness had embraced me but in those moments, I used to bring light in my life. I healed myself alot many times whenever possible.
Well, as I believe in the beauty of stories, I also feel that the stories have power to enlighten us and I take inspiration of everyone's story because we can always learn from every experience.
My mother has been my role model always and I see her as a wonderwoman who gracefully handles everything in life so yes she is an eternal inspiration for me and my father is the one who shows me how being patient and humble is important in life. I have seen him smiling in tough phases and being optimistic always so yes he is truely my hero, my eternal source of inspiration.
Dona: Wow that was a such beautiful answer. Mothers are always the Best Person in this World.
"Failure is the pillar of success"
Do you believe in these words? Have you ever faced failure and that's when it became the turning point of your life? This/That Questions
It's been a lot of serious type of question till now! So let me lighten up your mood with some interesting questions
Ashita: Moments of failures are very less in my life but I do have moments of disappointments so whenever this happens, coping becomes difficult. For a few days I feel lost and weak but eventually I emerge stronger than before, feeling more motivated and positive which actually paves many more ways of success for me.
Dona: Would like to go for movie and dinner with Ashdeep or Do a reunion with your long lost friends?
Ashita: Movie and Dinner date with Ashdeep for sure because sab long lost friends se touch me hoon but Ashdeep ke sath rehna is my dream so I will go with them and also, is bahane dono sath toh dikhege😋
Dona: Ashdeep se milke Doston ko bhul gye😂😂
Even I would choose the Dinner Date...who would miss this golden opportunity 😉
Suppose you go to a place for some work and you feel you that the place around you is unsafe. What is the first thing you will do in that case?
Ashita: I will share my location with my loved ones and I will try to find ways of escaping in my mind so that if anything strange happens, atleast I have some options to escape and runaway.
Dona: You have a serious crush on a guy but that guy ignores you but is aware of your feelings, and now there's also a guy who has a crush on you and proposed to you. Will you accept his proposal or stick to your love?
Ashita: Omg this question is like an example of my life I feel😂
Well, this exact situation has happened with me years ago in my school days when the one I used to like simply ignored my feelings and in class 10th the guy who had a crush on me and proposed to me is the love of my life since past 8.5 years and eventually we will get married after 3 years I guess. So I hope you got my answer❤
Dona: I am so glad that it is actually related to your life. Lucky me to think about this question! And Lucky You who got the Love of Your Life. Congratulations and I wish that you both lead a very very happy life always staying together ❤
Suppose you along with your friends go for exploring a forest. Now they have left you alone in the forest. You somehow rescue yourself but here's the catch will you take revenge from those friends or wait for karma to hit them back? If you take the revenge what that revenge would be?
Ashita: I am not a revenge person at all so I will leave it for time. If I am safe and rescued by God's blessinga then I wont ever play this revenge game with anyone. I am a strong believer of Karma but here I wont say let karma pay back because everything happens fatefully. My words wont make a difference, its their fate which will decide for them. relieved
Dona: The Goody Goody Girl. I like it😉😁
Suppose there are two boxes in front of you. Each box has a big diamond ring in it but with a twist! One box has lots of spiders and cockroaches and another box is full of snakes! Which box would you pick up?
Ashita: I had zoology as a subject in my graduation years where we had made insect boxes and placed real insects in them. I know it looks weird but it was a part of our entomology project so had to do for good marks. I may sound silly but I actually adore cockroaches and spiders and sometimes I even play with them😂😂So will prefer a box with cockroaches & spiders because snakes are super dangerous.
Dona: Adoring Cockroaches and Spiders be like😂
But yeah, if ever any of this situation comes across you, you won't be facing a problem at that time!
So here ends our "Suppose" questions! Did you have fun answering them? I know some of them were really silly but can't help it!
Ashita: I actually enjoyed answering every question. It was fun and thanx for being patient enough to read my detailed answers😂
Dona: Glad that you are enjoying the interview. That is what our job is to entertain you guys and give you tinge of fun in your lives.
Now our last round has the most special set of questions which are all about our Dearest show Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hain !
Are you ready? Let's gets started!
Ashita: Yes for sure, I am never gonna get tired of talking when it comes to yudkbh❤
Dona: If you get a chance to redesign a character, which character would that be and why do you want to redesign it?
Ashita: It would be Arjun for sure. That character had a great potential and his part , his role could have been better I feel. So for Arjun I would have loved to see Somy continue playing that role and a little bit of improvement in Arjmer(Arjun Sameer) bond is something I wished to see after the cricket match winning moment but sadly we were deprived.
Dona: Even I wished to see some more moments of their Bond.
As soon as I take YUDKBH's name what us the first thought that crosses your mind (except Samaina) ?
Ashita: The thought of seeing my oldself cherishing the happiest days of my life is what comes to mind now. Except Samaina or Ashdeep its tough to think anything else but then I do miss the complete show, everything and everyone related to it.
Dona: Each n everyone misses this show so so much as it had become an integral part of our lives.
Do you think Shubham was right for Preeti? If yes then why and if no then who would you choose- Pandit or Rohan? And why choose any of them?
Ashita: As a lover of fanfictions who dreams of matching her favourite ships, I would have always wished to see Preeti and Pandit together. Preedit or Ayera looks damm cute together so I would have preferred that but show was based on a real story so though Shubham and Preeti are poles apart, I still feel he is a good person, gentle and caring so after seeing the two together, I liked them but my poor heart always wanted to see Preedit ship to sailing.
Dona: I too wished them to be together but sadly it didn't come true!
Sameer is a character whom we all girls dream to have in our life but is there any other character from yudkbh whom you want to be there with you in real life?
Ashita: I really wish to have a Preeti in my life. I have always been pampered as being a single child brings all these advantages along but somewhere I do wish to have a sibling, especially a sister like Preeti, who is entertaining, caring, loving, supporting, understanding and protective. So only Preeti is the one I wish I could have.
Dona: Aww...so Sweet! Preeti jaisa koi nahi😉
Lastly write a small note to "Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hain" ❤
Ashita: Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai , these 6 words together for me makes me go through a alot of emotions all together. I feel nostalgic, happy, content, sad because I miss it, I simply remember some moment of our show and keep on smiling. The smile is a real one and the happiness is heartfelt and atlast my eyes turns watery as I miss this show, the stories I read, a friend I lost from this fandom, my stories and those good old days of fangirling. So basically YUDKBH for me is a combination of multiple emotions but mainly its my true happiness, my forever love.
Dona: So here we come to an final end of this amazing interview. Thank you for taking out your precious time and being a part of this Interview. Congratulations to you and I wish you more n more Success and Happiness in your Life❤
Stay Safe n Stay Happy❤
Ashita: Thank you so much for this amazing Interview. The questions were fun and I loved answering them all❤
You too Stay Safe❤
