regulus black➛ anna has steered clear of regulus black for a multitude of reasons, mainly due to the fact that she was the prime example of everything the boy was taught to hate. i mean she was a half blood for crying out loud, a girl who shouldn't exist as per his blood supremacist family's beliefs. she didn't interact with him, and he didn't her, the few times they did resulted in a very snappy eleven-year-old anna. however, it was awful hard to do when they were placed in the same house!

despite, the fact that she wasn't friends with him she did become best friends with his brother sirius. in doing so, she learned about his disastrous homelife but still felt as though the boy hated her and her kind. it wasn't until their fifth year that they really started to become at least a bit civil. they were at some hufflepuff party,forced to be locked in a closet together thanks to some childish game. anna simply crossed her arms but regulus had attempted to make small talk, at the very least he sighed and stated he didn't hate her. although, the girl simply rolled her eyes after that she at least did talk to him.

after the incident, anna  and regulus interacted through sarcastic and blunt commentary. insults between the two and an established 'frenimies' situation going on, once they were in a room together all hell let loose. they were too good at insults, too skilled at the art of being closed off to one another. sirius encouraged the two to hang out often, claiming anna was a good influence on the boy. which was a very debatable claim. sure, she was smart but good decisions were never her thing.

by sixth year, the two were close oddly enough they were actually good together. they both weren't that good with expressing their emotions, so it was nice to be able to get it all out, even if it came in brute insults. anna loathed his charm, the hidden one that was oh so similar to his brothers. it made her blood boil that he could mimic her confidence or not falterer at her infamous flirting. though, she liked that she was able to tell him anything and not feel like a horrid person. she didn't have to be fake around him or perfect, just like he didn't have to put on an act around her. he was simply the best person to shit-talk with and when she was bitchy, he found it amusing not rude.

anna was never good with romantic feelings, she either loved everyone or the wrong person. she found it to be one big hassel... so she stuck to just liking whoever and being massive flirt. could you really blame a girl? thus, she is so oblivious to the fact that she harbors feelings for regulus. besides, how could she like the person she was bound to hate? nope, there was no way on earth that anastasia iverson liked regulus black. it was simply outrageous and totally bizarre!

annalise is a force to be reckoned with, living up the reputation that stems from her prestigious family. she is consumed by the insatiable desire to succeed, one that can tend to lead her to tensions and spiked mood swings. often times, her ambition can lead her to embrace a haughty and scheming side. she's so driven to uphold her image and overachieve that it can be difficult for her to hold friendships, mainly girls just stick to her and do her bidding to get a taste of popularity or attempt to climb the social ladder. many people can easily write her off as vain or just a stuck-up brat, someone shallow and deceiving. she's proven herself to be very manipulative and witty throughout her years of hogwarts, using her feminine charm to her advantage and getting people to do thinks with a mere bat of her long lashes. most people don't stand up to her in fear of her using them as a new target for her cruel ways, though that isn't to say that there aren't those who adore her (rather it be by fear or something else) and she of course has her enemies. everything she does seems to be perfectly calculated, almost as perfect as her designer handbags.

↳BACKSTORY

amoura was a witch who had become fascinated with the muggle world, it wasn't easy to impress wizards when magic was the norm, but muggles were easily fascinated. she found that her beauty and charm worked as her own sort of magic, not that her real magic didn't help her out. she left for the muggle world for good and fell into the path of fame, something that was easy when you had a pretty face and could get your way with the flick of the wand and a simple spell.

during her rise to fame, she met a rich producer named vincent, he was attracted to her beauty, and she was attracted to the large amount of money he possessed. there was a simple understanding that they both had their reasons for perusing one another, it was more of two people reserving benefits rather than love. their relationship was odd, they lived their own lives but whenever a premiere or camera was in view they were at each other's side. infatuated with one another. nothing seemed to change when amoura fell pregnant with annalise, they continued to live their own lives. amoura continuing to flirt with others and be her prima donna self and vincent devoting himself to his work while also doing the same. a compromise they were both more than okay with.

growing up it caused annalise a lot of confusion, though her childhood was lonely and filled with false smiles and endless spotlight. outside of her house she had to be a different annalise, one that never faltered from the 'sweetheart' persona her mother had worked up for her. however, from the way films depicted it her parents were nothing normal, normal families ate together. their parents talked in houses and there were real genuine smiles, nothing like what occurred in her own home. not that she didn't love her parents, it was just in two different ways. ways that had difficulties coexisting with each other.

annalise grew to look up to her mother, being raised to harness her beauty and use it to her own advantage. watching closely as her mom schemed and plotted to get what she wanted if her charms couldn't do it for her. it mended her into the devious person she is today. her mom really pushed it onto her because it was still unsure if her daughter would inherit her magic or not, so she wanted to ensure that either way her daughter was equipped for the world. even if her ways were unorthodox. annalise was in beauty pageants and spent a great deal of time observing how to climb her way to the top when it came to the world.

the day she received her letter from hogwarts was one of the greatest moments of her life, it was a new opportunity. a whole new domain. besides, she had grown up witnessing how her mother would use her magic to her advantage and to achieve her own success, so she was more than excited to learn a few tricks or her own.
