𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲𝑺𝑻𝑶𝑹𝒀. — jude's mother donna was a free soul, a hippie if you will. she could never settle down in one place for too long. she never wanted kids, she was scared they would tie her down and leave her to live a life of school pickups and white picket fences. however, after a one night stand this all changes. she becomes pregnant and decides to have the baby, though, after giving birth she fears she won't be a good mother so she drops the baby off with her sister.

coralina lennox was used to picking up her sister's messes but she never thought donna would leave her with one as big as raising a child. she lived a peaceful like on the outer banks, not doing so well but not doing horrible either. she never wanted a child either, she wanted to be alone where she could do whatever she pleased. when she was given jude she was absolutely in shock at the new responsibilities of having a child. she resents her sister for it and they can't find her no matter how hard they try.

coralina tried to raise jude but it was hard when she was still young herself and wanting to have fun, besides she didn't even want the kid! often times she would turn to drugs or alcohol and as jude got older she found herself having to take care of her aunt when she made a scene or when she almost overdosed or when she was so drunk she trashed the place. jude was forced to grow up at a young age. her aunt often fights with jude even when she's helping, drunkenly saying how she never wanted her and how she hates raising a kid.
