"A BIKE SHACK." Reggie muttered his voice laced with disappointment, "Right where my house use to be...right here." The boy frowned.
"Want another hug?" Roxy asked as he nodded, the girl wrapped her arms around his waist as Luke looke to him with a sympathetic expression.
"Yeah I'm sorry man."
"They made the Meyerson's house into a noodle shop." Reggie added looking at the small store beside the bike shack, "Why couldn't they have made mine a pizzeria or something?"
"They tore down the whole neighborhood." Alex said looking around at the beach.
"Well at least if a tsunami comes it won't hit your house since it, you know." Roxy comforted, "I don't really think that makes anything better but I'm trying."
"I think you should just stick to hugs and no talking." Reggie mumbled.
"Right."
"Everyone's gone, 25 years, gone." Alex explained with an angry tone, "Friends, family, Bobby, everyone."
"Bobby, that's right." Reggie remembered, "I guess that vegetarian looked out, what do you think happened to him?"
"He probably just got old like everyone else and moved on." Luke said and it almost seemed like he didn't care.
"Dude how are you so casual about all of this?" Alex asked, "Don't you wanna figure out what happened?"
"Let's be real for a second, it's not like we were that close to our families." Luke began, "My folks always regretted buying me that guitar, Reggie your parents were literally a fight away from a divorce, Alex I....your parents were never cool again after you told them you were gay, and Roxy your father was a drunk after your mother passed, he was so strict it began to become unhealthy."
Roxy looked down at her feet at the mention of her past as Reggie was now the one comforting her, "Okay, none of us had it great. Alright but at least we have something, you know, what do we have now?" Alex argued, "And before you say cool teleportation skills, just know I'm not entirely okay with that either, it tingles!" He shouted, "In weird places!"
"You just ruined the word tingle for me." Roxy muttered.
"I'll tell you what we have, it's what we've and since the day we came together." Luke began as he climbed on top of a log, "Boys we have us, we're the only family we're ever gonna need." He said looking down at his friends, "Do you know what else we have?"
"I'm going to guess death breath?"
"Our music, you dork." Luke chuckled, "We have a music you guys, people, actual people can here us play! They can't see us, fine, but they can feel us." Luke explained, "If I had my guitar, I play for all these people right now. Just like what we used to do down at the pier."
"They can't tip with they can't see." Alex added.
"Not about the tips, Alex." Luke said jumping from the log, "It's about playing music. Connecting with people, making a difference in their day." He smiled at his friends, "I just....I wish I had my guitar." A sudden blue flash quickly appeared in his arms as the wooden guitar landed with him.
"Woah!" Reggie yelled, "That was rad, how'd you do that." He asked letting go of Roxy.
"I don't know, I-I-I mean I wished for it and then it came in my hands." He explained as Reggie quickly closed his eyes.
"I-I-I wish I had a puppy." He began as he peeked but saw nothing, "A hamster....pizza?" He listed as nothing happened, he kicked the sand in anger as he sat down with a pout.
"Hey I think I know something that will cheer you up." Luke grinned as he began strumming the strings of his guitar Alex slowly walked beside Luke and smiled too, he patted his body to make a beat.
Roxy looked down at Reggie an smirked holding her hand out to him, "Come on Reginald." She said in a sing-song tone as he smiled and grabbed her hands.
"A one two three four!"
"Can you..can you hear me?"
"Loud and clear." Roxy laughed as she began clapping.
"We gotta get..gotta get ready." He continued as he gripped Roxy wrist and pulled her up onto a log.
"Cause it's been years." Luke added
"Woah, oh, oh, oh. This band is back!"
"Whoa, oh, oh, oh! This band is back, woohoo, ooh, ooh, woohoo, ooh, ooh."
"Can you?"
"(Yes we can)"
"Can you hear me?"
"Loud and clear!"
"We gotta get, (we got to get), we gotta get ready! Cause it's been years! Whoa, oh, oh, oh, this band is back, woah oh, oh, oh, this band is back!"
The band laughed as they jokingly added random notes, Roxy looked up at Reggie who's grin was wider then before.

"As the only person with a brain in this group, I say we should not go into Julie's room." Roxy said as the 4 stood in front of a white door that the figures was Julie's.
"I think we should." Luke replied with a shrug, "Let's explore, the last time I was in there was when I was alive and that was 25 years ago."
"I don't give a shit." Roxy snapped as Reggie slapped her arm, "Ow why'd you do that?"
"Don't say bad words in front of the children." Reggie scowled pointing to Carlos who was passing by to get to his room.
"Oh for fuck sake." The muttered as Luke walked into the room, "Luke no!"
"Luke yes."
"If any of you follow him into that room I swear-." Before she could finish her sentence the 2 boys left her and walked into the room after Luke, "Guys this is just creepy." She huffed when none of them listened to her and sat on the floor, she knew that Julie would get mad at them for not respecting her privacy. She had the exact same rule for them, never enter my room unless I say so. The boys where ones who didn't listen so if they ever broke her rules, they'd pay the consequence.
"Oh hi." Julie said when she noticed the girl sitting on floor, "What are you doing?"
"Respecting your privacy." Roxy simply replied as Julie raised a brow, "I'm sorry in advance."
"For what." Julie asked as she opened her door, "What are you guys doing in my room!"
"For that." The girl muttered, the 3 boys inside stuffed over their words as they tried to find an excuse.
"We were looking for the kitchen?" Luke said in more of a questioning tone, Roxy stood up from the floor but decided to not pass the doorway since she had no permission to enter.
"This....this can't happen, it's creepy." Julie told the boys, "Get off my bed please." She said to Reggie who quickly climbed off.
"I told you."
Luke raised his hand as if he was in a classroom answering and looked at Julie with curiosity, "Hey Julie." The boy spoke, "What's in the box." He asked pointy at the small white box on Julie's shelf.
"That's off limits." Julie snapped
"Oh...oh..okay." Luke laughed, "Girl stuff." Julie glared at the ghost and crossed her arms.
"Ooh, like butterflies and glitter?" Reggie asked Roxy rolled her eyes.
"Oh come on." Alex muttered, "I'm sorry about them."
"Your sorry? Your the one in her room without permission, don't try to act innocent Lexie." Roxy and the blonde with a threading finger.
"It's none of your business." Julie said referring to the box the ghost were so curious about, "And yes, there might be some glitter."
Alex grinned as he picked up a painting and turned to Julie, "Hey! Look I picked something up." He celebrated as he walked towards the bed but the picture suddenly dropped, "I dropped it." He mumbled in disappointment.
"Is that your mom?" Luke asked dragging their conversation about the mystery box away.
"Yes, and it's my favorite picture of us, so if you break it, I'll break you." Julie threatened as Roxy let out a slow clap.
"I like Julie now."
"Okay, well, sorry because we're kind of unbreakable at this point." Alex shrugged
"You know I can punch you right now." Roxy spoke up as Alex threw his hands up in surrender.
"You guys can mess up my bed, pick up your instrument but you can't pick up anything else?" Julie questioned.
"I know right, it's kinda hard, but for some reason out instruments, easy." Luke explained as the band nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, like super easy." Reggie added as he stood up with a smirk, "And check out the new trick I learned." He said he put his arms out and the red base came into his hands, the sudden impact caused him to fall and let out a small groan.
"Yeah, that looked super easy." Julie sarcastically commented as she rolled her eyes, it was clear that she was angrier then before.
"It's like I always thought, our instrument are attached to our soul." Luke spoke up as sudden footsteps approached Julie's door, Roxy let out a small yelp when she felt something move through her.
"Hey." A deeper voice spoke, "Everything okay?" Roxy turned around and was met by Julie's dad, she backed away into the room as Julie looked at her dad with a nervous look.
"He scared me." Roxy mumbled hiding behind Reggie, "he walked through me." She complained as Reggie wrapped an arm around her shoulder.
"Doesn't feel nice doesn't it?"
"No."
"I thought I heard you talking to someone." The man said.
"Nope, must've been my laptop." Julie lied pointing the computer her table, "That I just closed." She was a terrible liar.
Her father lightly chuckled and looked towards his daughter, "Okay, if you need anything.." He pointed to the door and awkwardly waited for Julie to give him an answer.
"Oh, yeah, thanks." She mumbled as he walked out and shut the door behind him, Julie let out a sigh of relief and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Your dad seems like the kind of guy who likes to barbecue." Reggie spoke up, "I bet he has a great ribs recipe." He said as Roxy let out a soft chuckle and the boys comment.
"I don't know, but if you guys want to talk to me, we have to do it in the studio. He worried about me enough as it is."
"He seems chill, you should tel him about us." Luke suggested as Roxy scoffed at the stupidity of the idea and with the look on Julie's face she thought the same.
"Your kidding right?" The girl asked as Luke frowned, "This passed year everyone's been watching over me being super nice, as if they're waiting for me to snap. If I tell my dad I met a ghost band, I'll be back to talking to Dr. Turner 3 days a week."
Luke clicked his tongue as he finally realized the suggestion was extremely stupid. "Yeah, you probably shouldn't tell him." He walked back towards the shelf he once stood and looked back at the dark-skinned girl, "Julie.."
"Oh my gosh, I told you to leave that alone!"
"I know, you shouldn't have said anything 'cause now I can't stop thinking about it, so....what's in the box Julie." He asked with desperation lacing his voice.
"It's just my dream box, okay?" Julie finally admitted as Luke looked at her with confusion, "Whenever I get a thought, I write it down and get it out of my mind."
"Like lyrics?"
"They would be if I still wrote music like I use to with my mom now it's just full of stuff that doesn't make me sad." She explained as they all stared at her sympathetically.
"But, I mean, you do play, we heard you this morning." Roxy slapped his shoulder and glared at him. "Ow, what was that for?"
"In the garage, so you are there too!?" She asked angrily as the boys voices suddenly got high-pitched when they tried to explain themselves.
Luke jumped onto the bed with a charming smile and put on an innocent act, "So, where is your kitchen by the way?"
Julie leaned down to reach his level and sarcastically smiled, "Okay we need to set some boundaries, for starters, stay out of my room!" She yelled and Pitney to the door as they all rushed out.
"Mm-hmm, crystal clear, let's go."
"We're leaving."
"Yes ma'am, we are out of here!"
"I didn't even want to be in here in the first place."
The band mates all said as they quickly left the girls room, Alex paused and turned back around to peek his head inside. "Hey, sorry, I didn't mean to bother you. Did you get back into your music program?" He asked
"No..no I didn't." Julie replied as Alex frowned at the response.
"I'm sorry, that really sucks."
"Thanks." For a brief moment the 2 stood in awkward silence as the band mates all waited for him to join them.
"Is that it?" Julie questioned
"Yeah..yeah." Alex quickly responded, "This is getting weird." Julie waved as Roxy rolled her eyes and yanked his arm. "Oh shit." He muttered as the sudden force.
"Hurry gay ass up."
