ERIN SOMMERS NEVER WENT TO HER PROM. Instead of dressing up and doing her hair she stayed home in bed, doing nothing. She thought there was no purpose to it and chose not to go. Her mother begged her to go but Erin always refused to do so. She didn't even have a date.

Damon had mentioned about going to prom with his 'girlfriend' Elena. He had mentioned that he and his brother were on a mission to turn her humanity back on.

Erin had no clue as to how they would do it or if it would work in the end. Erin sat with her legs swinging back and forth on the bridge when she heard a grunt.

When Erin turned around she saw Damon's poured lips and frowned expression. Erin turned her body towards the vampire.

"I'm guessing it didn't go to well by the look on your face," she observed,

Damon sighed, "Please tell me you have beer."

Erin pursed her lips, "Sorry bud, I'm broke," Damon made his way towards Erin, he wore a black tuxedo and his tie was untied, "What happened?"

Damon looked at Erin with his icy blue eyes, "Elena still doesn't have her humanity," Damon said bitterly, "I don't even know what to do."

Erin sighed, "She'll turn it back on," Damon rolled his eyes, "Let's talk about something else!"

"Like what?" Damon asked with a distraught look on his face. 

"Well, besides the whole getting your 'girlfriend' to turn on her humanity, how was prom?" Erin asked tilting her head. 

"Ugh." Damon rolled his eyes, "Why does every girl want to know about prom? It's just another stupid dance, we did nothing there." 

Erin furrowed her brows when Damon looked at her, "For your information, I didn't get to go to prom," 

Damon's face became serious, "Are you serious?" Erin nodded. 

"I never went," she said folding her arms across her chest. 

"Anything else I should know?" Damon asked sticking his hands in his pockets. 

Erin sighed trying to think, "I've never kissed anyone." 

Damon quickly furrowed his brows in disbelief, "I don't believe you." 

"It's true," Erin confirmed, "Yeah, I sneaked out and stuff but I never kissed anyone," she shrugged. 

Damon's mouth was slightly agape and his brows were furrowed, "Huh," 

"Go ahead, call me a prude or whatever," Erin said folding her arms across her chest. 

Damon licked his lips, "I'll be back," he said turning his back. 

Erin stopped him, "Woah, where are you going?" she asked in confusion. 

"I said I'll be back," he said. 

Erin gave him a look, "You can't hide from me, Damon Salvatore."

Damon stood outside with a flustered Caroline. After the mishap that happened at prom, Caroline was pouty throughout the duration of the night. She stared at Damon with daggers in her eyes and her arms folded against her chest. 

"What do you want Damon?" She asked distastefully. 

Damon rolled his eyes, "I need your help," he started, "But you can not tell anyone about this. Okay? Not even, Elena." 

Caroline's expression softened into confusion, "Elena has no humanity," Caroline reminded him, "But why is it so important, anyway?" 

"That's beside the point. Are you going to keep it a secret?" he asked with an unamused look on his face. 

Caroline rolled her eyes, "Fine, I'll keep your little secret." 

"Great," he started, "At the Wickery Bridge, there is going to be a girl there, her name is Erin. I need you to let her borrow one your dresses and I need you to do her hair and make her feel pretty." 

Caroline's mouth was slightly agape with her brows furrowed. She had no idea who Erin was and why Damon wanted her to do this, "Why? I haven't seen you really care about anyone." 

Damon rolled her eyes, "Well, she's one of the few decent people I know and I want to make her feel... I don't know, can you do this or not?" 

Caroline rolled her eyes, "Fine, I'll do it."

Caroline arrived at Wickery Bridge with all the stuff Damon told her to get. When Caroline got there, she saw no one and thought that it was one of Damon's tricks. 

Caroline put her things slowly to the ground, "Damon, I swear if this is one of your stupid little tricks, I am going to kill you!" 

Erin appeared after the threat, "Woah, that's pretty violent," Caroline jumped at Erin. 

"What the hell?!" Caroline shrieked, "Don't jump out like that." 

Erin raised her hands in a protest, "I'm sorry," she apologized, "Who are you? And why are you here?" 

Caroline took in a deep breath, "My name's Caroline," she reached out a hand with a smile on her lips, "Please tell me you're Erin," 

Erin let out a laugh as she shook Caroline's hand, "Yeah, I am." 

Caroline let out a sigh of relief, "Good because I'm here to get you dolled up," Caroline reached for the dress while Erin had a confused look on her face. 

"For what?" Erin asked. 

"I don't know," Caroline replied while giving Erin the dress, "All I know is that when you're done, to go to the roof? or something, I don't know." 

Erin nodded slowly while taking the dress, "Okay?" 

The next few minutes were spent with Caroline doing Erin's hair and applying a little bit of makeup. After Caroline was done, Erin spun around in front of her. Caroline smiled sweetly at the girl before placing her hands on her hips. 

"How do I look?" Erin asked while modeling. 

Caroline let out a small laugh, "You look great," 

"I know," Erin winked. 

Caroline reached for her things in order to go home, "Erin, can I ask you something?" 

"Sure," 

Caroline hesitated, "I've lived here all my life and I've never seen you before," she started, "You're young, so I should have seen in school before but I haven't." 

Erin froze and went white when she heard Caroline. She turned around slowly towards the blonde, "I-I was homeschooled," 

Caroline furrowed her brows, "How come I haven't seen you around Mystic Falls before?" 

Erin felt her palms go sweaty, "I'm a very antisocial person, and I like to go out at night." 

"Wait, are you a vampire? Do you have a daylight ring?" Caroline asked quickly. 

Erin shook her head, "No! I'm human." 

Caroline took in a deep breath, "Okay, then," she started, "I'm sorry for...you know," 

"It's okay."
