COMPLETE INTERVIEW

"yall ready!?" the crew said from behind the camera, and the band shook out all their nerves and took their seats on their stools.

"let's do this thing!!!" luke was way overhyped, but julie just laughed as the boy stopped jumping and sat down.

"okay, go!" the camera man said, pointing at the teens.

intro

"hey i'm julie-"

"and i'm luke-"

"reggie!!" reggie exclaimed, making the group giggle.

"and i'm alex! and we're here to do the wired auto complete interview!"

"woot woot!" julie raised the roof while luke taped his chair like a drum.

"let's do this thing!" reggie said, putting his two thumbs up enthusiastically.

questions

luke held the first board, since he was on the end, it was the perfect place to start. he turned his chair slightly, and held the board up as he spoke so both the group and camera could see.

"who are...." he mumbled while he pulled the first tape, "julie and the phantoms." he finished, "ah, an easy one!" he sighed in contentment.

"well WE are julie and the phantoms!" julie held her arms out in front of the group, "we are all in a band and our youtube is linked below if you haven't heard of us yet!" julie pointed toward the camera with a sly wink.

"tell your friends!" reggie chirped in, again making the group laugh.

"ok next one," luke said as he looked back toward the board, "who are... julie and the phat ones."

the teens bursted out laughing, and alex put his hand on luke's shoulder, "that one falls to you my friend." the boys smiled at each other.

"yeah," luke winced, "i have awful handwriting!"

the questions went on smoothly, the group instantly feeling relaxed enough to have fun with it. a few boards in, and questions began to get spicy.

"are julie and luke, from julie and the phantoms, dating?" the group had wondered why this whole question was blocked off with the white tape, and they all 'ah'ed in recognition.

julie was holding the board at this point, and all the boys 'oooooooo'ed at the tense question.

the two teens blushed and giggled slightly, luke raised his eyebrows mischievously at the molina girl. she just shook her head, and turned the face the camera with a straight face.

"no comment."

these words sent the whole group in laughter, and even the crew cracked up.

"i wanna be next!" alex pleaded, catching the board from the crew like a frisbee and smiled with glee.

"yay! ok..." he muttered to himself as he read the first question, "how do julie and the phantoms..." he peeled off the tape, reading as the words appeared, "disappear on stage." he smirked at the camera, raising his eyebrows chaotically.

"magic!" luke waved his hands in front of his face, making the boys laugh.

"a secret we will never tell." reggie winked toward the camera, and alex got ready for the next question.

"this is so much fun!" julie said, smiling at the boys surrounding her. they all nodded in agreement and turned to alex for the last question.

"how did julie and the phantoms meet?" the band aw-ed at this one, and alex spoke up, "well we all," he panned him arm to the boys, "met julie a while back, and instantly knew that a band was already created. she has an amazing voice and it was the perfect addition to our already-formed-semi-band." he laughed at his words, and julie smiled.

"couldnt have done it without these three boys." she snaked her arms around all thier necks and pulled them in for one side hug, all the boys groaning.

FRIENDSHIP CHALLENGE

"alright so this is just a friendship challenge, so be totally transparent, honest, and really have fun with it. that's what the fans want to see." the camera man told the boys standing next to each other.

luke and alex looked toward each other and laughed, but nodded.

"we'll need pieces of you guys doing things together and apart, so don't get too comfortable together just yet!" the crew directed the boys through all the individual and partner activities, and honestly, the boys could not stop cracking the camera crew up.

intro

"wow, i mean luke," alex stood alone, and spoke like he had nothing to say but everything to say all at once, "i mean we've been through everything together."

cut to luke standing alone, "i think it was how alex was extremely there for me during my hard times and how i was there for him when..." the boy shrugged, "at the time the boy felt like he had no one," he awkwardly played with his hair as he continued, "i think it was those moments that created the strong bond we have today."

"i remember..." alex was back standing alone, laughing at his thoughts, "one time while we were rehearsing, luke tried to flip his guitar over his back," alex quickly showed the crew the motions of the trick, "and he was so over confident about it, i mean like too confident," the boy couldn't hold in his laughter, "and he completely wiped himself out." the crew could be heard laughing from behind the camera, "i mean the guitar hit his head good. that was a fun time."

"oh my gosh," it was back to luke, who was just shaking his head at the memory he was about to share, "i remember when i first met alex. we were in school, and he didn't really have a lot of friends at the time, but we were in the school band together. and he was just showing off his skills on the drums," luke rose his eyebrows in shock, "and, like, no one was paying attention to him. like, this boy was just slaying it on the drums and i was the only one watching." the boy laughed, and the crew joined in as well, "and my jaw was probably on the floor, but, he was amazing. and i just-" luke stuttered as he spoke, "i knew. i knew this was my new best friend. i just had to go talk to him."

now the two boys stood together, smiling at the camera.

"we're luke and alex from the band julie and the phantoms," luke started, turning to alex to hear him finish the intro off, "and we're with glamour to do their special friendship challenge."

challenge one : hug for one minute

thankfully, the boys were around the same height, so hugging was never awkward for the pair.

alex's arms went underneath luke's, and the boys rested their heads on the others shoulder. for the first fiveteen seconds, everything was peaceful.

"you smell good." luke broke that peace, immediately causing not only the boy in his arms but the camera crew to burst into laughter, "i'm serious!" he said, trying to prove his point while still attached to the boy, "it's like vanilla, or something." he got even closer to alex, "it smells nice."

"thanks bud." alex patted his friends back.

challenge two: complement each other

"alex," luke began, awkwardly putting his hands together and staring at alex in front of him, "you're one of the strongest people i have met. i think, with everything you've been through, and the person you are today, is all just so incredible. watching you grow through your hard times and still care about others the way you do, it's amazing, truly."

the boy earned a soft "aw" from his friend, and luke shrugged like it was nothing before continuing.

"i'm just thankful someone like you was there for me when i went through everything i did."

alex bear hugged luke, and luke let out a loud laugh.

"aw buddy." luke said as he patted his back, "don't cry just yet, we just started!"

a minute later, the boys stood back in their original positions, and it was alex's turn.

"luke," he stared directly at luke as he spoke, "with everything i went through, you were there for me. with all the chaos and unknown, you were always..." alex searched for the right word, "there. stable. honest. caring." luke puffed out his bottom lip, "you were always there to talk when i wanted to, or make me laugh when i didn't, and it was really nice to know that someone would be there when it felt like no one was."

"aw BRO!" luke laughed, but his face flushed. he pushed alex's shoulder slightly, but they shared caring glances.

"i'm just being honest, bro." alex put his hands up defensively.

"i think you're super talent," luke read off of the list he had wrote down, "funny. extremely caring, and definitely my best friend in the entire world."

"luke is..." alex unfolded his paper like a scroll and straightened his poster for dramatic effect, "kind, also talented, and one of the funniest people i have ever met as well. and i think it is our similarities that make us this close."

the boys shared one more hug, alex ruffling luke's hair as they departed.

challenge three : stare each other in the eyes for two minutes

"oh boy." luke muttered, jumping slightly on his toes.

alex shook his arms and rubbed his hands together viciously, "let's do this thing mate."

luke sent an odd glance to the boy, "dont ever call me mate."

the boys, to add dramatic effect, insisted that they held each other's shoulders as they stared into each other's eyes. the crew made the countdown, and both boys opened their eyes.

there were two whole seconds where everything was fine.

but then those two seconds ended.

alex tightened his lips, flushing with red, trying to hide his laugh. but it was this event that made luke's eyes crinkle up in laughter and the boys bursted into giggles. they never lost eye contact though, so the crew kept the clock rolling.

"i can't do THIS!" alex's voice escalated as he spoke, only causing luke to laugh more.

"cmon, bro focus." luke made his eyes shrink down to slits, mocking a focused look.

"i can't focus with you staring at me like that!" alex groaned as he spoke, and the camera crew was dying with laughter, which was not helping the boys at all.

the minutes passed by slowly, but actually ended with thirty seconds of peaceful staring. luke's eyes grew kinder, and alex's smile actually fell off of his face.

"and... time!" the camera crew called, and luke actually had jumped from the deep concentration he had found himself in.

"woah, that was intense." alex said, shaking his head violently as if to shake the moment from his memory.

"yeah," luke cleared his throat, "girls, amirite!?" luke put his hands out, trying to make the crew laugh at his joke.

"no." alex said, shaking his head.

the camera crew erupted in their biggest laugh fit yet.

"you guys are killing me." the camera guy said, shaking his head at the pair.

outro

"well that was us..." alex began, turning to luke to continue.

"luke and alex!" luke pointed to both of them.

"from julie and the phantoms!!" alex chirped in, "check us out, check our music out, our super cool youtube is linked below-"

"and check glamour out!" luke interrupted, remembering the slight script they got, "huge thanks to them for having us on their show and for taking their friendship test."

"yes, definitely feel closer to this pal of mine." alex nodded, hooking an arm around luke to pull him closer to him.

"nah," luke shook his head, patting alex's chest twice, "i don't think we could ever be closer than we already are, buddy."

the boys laughed at each other, and the crew called cut.
