Edited: Now we finally have a name for this chapter, thank you for our two Potterheads friends, it has sparked an idea in my mind!
So this is what happened:
gay_slytherin suggested the name "Elvie" which means bright white. I tried to find a metaphor that can represent the meaning because white mainly means purity, innocence, faith and hope.
Thus, I decided that the white serpent is a perfect one. In contrast, theΒ white snakeΒ is consistently symbolic of purity, positive energy and new beginnings. TheΒ symbolismΒ of theΒ white snakeΒ is always positive. It combines theΒ symbolismΒ of renewal and purity to create a powerfulΒ symbolΒ of what some belief represents new beginnings and positivity in its purest form.
Meanwhile, LexiBell_King left a comment with the name "Luxen", which means a patient person.
So I think, patient. The patient could be symbolized by many things, like an elephant, boiling water, frost flower and many more. But thinking about how can I linked the serpent earlier with this patience, I thought about water. The sea might a perfect choice, still water runs deep, they said after all. The waves of the river make me think of the steady yet running patience. If once tested, no harm but the more horrible things you did to it, it might turn out to a tsunami and crush you down, drowning you, obliterating the entire existing of you. All the patience that you hold before had been wasted and the wrongdoer also faced the consequences.
But that's just my thought. I'm not an expert in philosophy or English, just pure imagination of mine.
Thank you for reading, feel free to leave a comment about the name for the next dividers!
