Piper made a mistake.  Another act of rebellion that had backfired. Badly.

Another detention. Fine with her. If she wanted, she could have her dad come and get her out of it but something told her she had to do this. It was important.

She thought that Will couldn't be the one to write those slurs on the lockers, it wasn't like him. It wasn't like him at all.

She leaned against a locker, deep in thought. She guessed it looked pretty creepy, a teenager staring fixedly into the distance but she didn't care. Right now, the most important thing was this detention. And... that. But that didn't matter. For now

A small tap on her shoulder pulled her from thought, as she jumped and swiveled around quickly. 

Jason.

"Hey..." Jason was saying, looking worried. Piper wasn't paying attention though. She spotted a folded up slip of paper caught in the door of her locker. 

Curious, she slid it out, unfolding it. 

It was a note. 

This is the first note of many, so read carefully. 

First, you will discover lots of... interesting things about your friends tonight.

Second, if you ever wish to find out who I am, pay attention to my signature. 

Third,  be careful of the second floor tonight. Dangers lurk.

And Piper, dear, I know everything about you. Everything. Even... that.... Yes you know

What I am talking about. I know too. So be careful when you share this note 

And it's best for you to share this with ALL you're detention mates.

Piper could feel her breath catch as she struggled to keep upright. If whoever this was knew her secret- the big secret, she wasn't safe. She needed to leave. Leave this school. Get home .

But she couldn't. All she could do was panic and wonder.

Wonder who the mysterious "O" was.
